Yes, it is official that the US has strong scientific evidence on UFO sightings. Classified files on the UFO sightings have been released by the Pentagon, thanks to a Democratic Senator Harry Reid.
The US government reportedly launched the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program (AATIP) in 2007 to investigate the Unidentified Flying Objects. The AATIP was indeed set up by Harry Reid during his term as the senator. The program reportedly cost $22 million of the US taxpayer’s money. The overall budget for the Department of Defence (DoD) is $600 billion annually.
The DoD insists that it terminated the AATIP program in 2012. The classified video shows the encounter between a Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jet and an unidentified flying object. In the video, one can clearly hear the conversation of the fighter jet pilots after they were taken by surprise by the presence of this mysterious flying object.
Commander David Fravor who spotted the mysterious object said, ‘it outpaced our F 18s with ease. There was no sign of wings, rotors or propulsion systems. It was 40 feet long. It accelerated so far that I have never seen anything in life.’
In the past, one of the classified footage showed an unidentified flying object hovering at 80,000 feet above the Pacific Ocean in 2004.
