Young and dashing hero Vijay Devarakonda rose to star status after starring in ‘Arjun Reddy’. The movie’s success is compared to the success of ‘Baahubali’, given its budget, and the profits it generated. The actor has been highly cautious in choosing the movie scripts post the success of Arjun Reddy.

He chose to act in ‘Taxiwala’, being directed by debutant Rahul Sankruthyan. The movie will have a blend of horror and suspense elements according to the movie’s unit. According to close sources, the story revolves between a taxi driver and a ghost, which makes the taxi as its home. Given the nature of the plot, many expect that the movie will entertain children, and adults equally. The movie is slated to release on May 18th, 2019.

But going by the latest developments, and rumors in the Film Nagar, the movie’s release is likely to be postponed. ‘The graphics works are still in progress. Due to technical glitches, the graphics works are going slow. At the same time, the director also realized that graphics and digital effects play a key role in the movie’s success. Hence, they are trying to postpone the movie’s release’, said a source from the production unit. We have to wait and see how far these rumors are true.
