With ‘Pelli Choopulu’ and ‘Arjun Reddy’ films, Vijay Devarakonda became the new heartthrob of Tollywood cinema and Telugu audience. Even directors like Maniratnam are coming forward offering roles to Vijay Devarakonda in their films. The hero is currently busy with 3 movies in Telugu. Reputed production houses like Geetha Arts and Vijayanthi Movies are producing two of those films.

People are expecting that Vijay Devarakonda would soon attain ‘stardom’ and will lead the race in the young heroes. At this juncture, a decision taken by Vijay Devarakonda has invited criticism. It is learned that the actor has apparently committed to a Tamil film. Even though it is not wrong to do films in multiple languages, many film analysts are suggesting him to settle in one language and then for other languages.

Reportedly, Vijay Devarakonda has agreed to do a Tamil film under the director of Anand Shankar. The director is known for the film hit film ‘Irumurugan’ with Vikram. After listening to the script, Vijay Devarakonda immediately agreed for the film. It was initially thought that the film would be made in Telugu. But the director insisted to make the film in Tamil.

Given the extravagant ambition to act in both the languages simultaneously, one has to wait and see whether Vijay Devarakonda will be successful or he will eventually end up failing with his feet in two boats.
