Vijayawada: Man beheads wife and threw her head in a canal

The brutal beheading of a loved wife over life caused a stir across the state.
The residents of Vijayawada horrified after checking the CCTV footage of this brutal murder. The shocking incident occurred in Srinagar colony under Satyanarayanapuram police station limits.
According to police Pradeep, a Vijayawada resident married to Manikranti’s (23) five years ago. They had a love marriage and staying away from family. However, there were frequent quarrels between the couple.
Manikranti filed a case of domestic violence against Pradeep earlier and he arrested. Pradeep Kumar slit Manikranti’s throat with a knife near their house. Pradeep then beheaded her to seek revenge.
Pradeep was seen walking quickly on the street with her head in one hand and a knife in the other. He then surrendered at Satyanarayanapuram police station.
