The small-budget film ‘Pelli Choopulu’ has created history in Telugu Film history. Produced on a modest budget of Rs. 2 crores, ‘Pelli Choopulu’ went on to become one of the biggest hits of that year. The film collected nearly 25 Crores at the box office. The film proved its mettle in Overseas and Bollywood too. The satellite rights, online rights, and other sources fetched the movie handsome money.’
‘Mental Madhilo’ which is slated for release tomorrow, is creating a buzz in the industry. The film comes as the second production from the makers of Pelli Choopulu. It is known that star-producer D. Suresh Babu is presenting this film too. He also presented Pelli Choopulu in the past. The production unit is hoping that Mental Madhilo will continue its sentiment and will come out as a winner.
Along with Mental Madhilo, 10 more films are releasing on the same day. The analysts are predicting that only ‘Balakrishnudu’ and ‘Hey Pillagada’ might give a stiff competition to the film. one has to wait and see whether Mental Madhilo would standout or end up being a failure at the box office.
