Women hid her husband’s body inside the house for 13 years

Police recently dug up the floor of the house of a woman in Mumbai and discovered she hide the skeleton inside a pit. Upon arrest, Sarita Bharti, a Mumbai swindler was interrogated and she supposedly confessed to having killed her husband and buried his body inside their house in Dandipada in Boisar.
Police finally found the skeleton in the house of the woman arrested in a sex racket case on Wednesday. The skeleton is suspected to be that of her husband, police stated.
Sarita Bharti, a 37-year-old woman was arrested for running a prostitution racket, allegedly told the police that she only killed her husband 13 years ago, based on the leads she gave, they dug the area in the house and discovered the skeletal remains inside the pit.
Later the skeleton has been sent to the forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is in progress and the woman is being probed further.
Police also stated that in the process of the raid, they rescued four women from Sarita Bharati’s house.
