China planning to hack ‘sensitive security information’ through mobile Apps!

The Chinese government is reportedly spying on the smartphone usage of the Indian soldiers posted along the Indian-Chinese international border. The Intelligence agencies issued a fresh warning to the Indian soldiers near the international border region

apps that are being used by the Indian troops who are posted along the 4,057 Km international border. Out of the 48 apps, 42 apps belonged to China. We issued a fresh warning to the troops to delete various apps including WeChat, True Caller, Vibo, UC Browser and UC News. There is a threat to the national security because of these apps.’

‘We issued orders to all the soldiers and troops to uninstall the blacklisted apps. It is advised to re-format the smartphones after uninstalling those apps,’ said an intelligence bureau official.

Along with the National Intelligence agencies, many international security agencies have confirmed that the Chinese are trying to hack into the smartphones of the soldiers and obtain sensitive data. In this regard, the security and intelligence agencies have been on high alert. The Indian government ordered the armed force personnel not to use the Chinese-based ‘Xiaomi’ Smartphones.
