The launch of heroes from a Film clan is a common practice in Indian film industry. But we rarely see heroines being launched from the film clan. Surprising everyone, Niharika Konidela entered the film industry. She hails from the Mega-family and is the daughter of Mega brother Nagendra Babu.
Niharika impressed everyone with her acting, grace and screen presence in her first movie ‘Oka Manasu’. Everyone was skeptical about mega heroine’s choice of films. Will she do glamour roles? Or will she be seen only in roles without any skin show?
Knowing the background of Niharika, no producer or director approached the heroine with any kind of glamour roles. She was seen in the web series ‘Muddhapappu Avakai’. Later, she looked towards the Kollywood, Tamil film industry. Whether it is because of lack of offers in Telugu, or for any other reasons, the actress reportedly signed a couple of films in Tamil.
From close sources, it is learned that Niharika is trying to prove herself in Tamil Film gradually, and then later come back to the Telugu Film Industry
carrying a tag ‘Glamour Heroine’. One has to wait and watch how things would unfold in the near future the mega family’s heroine, Niharika.
