Heroine says, ‘RGV did not cross limits with me’

Baking in the success of her recent film ‘London Babulu’, Swathi Reddy was more than delighted to share few interesting aspects of her life. The bubbly heroine was famous as anchor for the TV Show ‘Colors’ that aired on a regional TV channel. She received critical acclaim for her role ‘Lavanya’ in Ashta Chemma alongside hero Nani.

The actress has kept herself quite busy by doing Tamil films along with Telugu film in the recent times. In a recent web interview, the actress commented on her experience with controversial director Ram Gopal Varma.

‘Many people asked me about my experience with RGV. They used to say, RGV is a womanizer. How did he behave with you? I was often left amazed. According to me, RGV is a very good director. He always strives to get something new. At times it works, and at times it doesn’t. It has been a great experience working with him. I learned from RGV sir during ‘Appalraju’ shooting. He always used to encourage me stating, ‘you are a very talented girl. Go ahead and do good films.’ Talking about his character, he never crossed any limits. He has been respectful and courteous,’ said the bubbly actress. 

‘London Babulu’ was directed by Chinni Krishna, and Rakshith played the male lead, while Swathi Reddy played the female lead. She is currently waiting for her Malayalam film, ‘Aadu – 2’ release. The film is in its post-production stage.
