Megastar Chiranjeevi helps Rajinikanth 2.0

Megastar Chiranjeevi is undoubtedly the biggest film celebrity in the Telugu states. Apart from a huge fan base, Megastar Chiranjeevi also has a reputation for successful endorsements. His mere presence at a film function draws crowds of thousands. It is not surprising to know, few low-budget films gained hype and popularity by just inviting Chiranjeevi for audio launch and other promotional events.
Besides low-budget movies, even massing film production companies are waiting for Chiranjeevi to grace their film events. Lyca productions, which is producing the Rs. 450-crore gargantuan film 2.0 starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar reportedly sought for Chiranjeevi. The 2.0 production unit is planning mass promotional units to promote the high-budget film in India and overseas. The film’s audio launch in Dubai is a clear example of the scale of the film.
The 2.0 producers and director Shankar invited Megastar Chiranjeevi for 2.0 teaser release event. The promotional event will take place during February 2nd week in Hyderabad. Chiranjeevi, who shares a close bonding with Rajinikanth, gave his nod to attend the event. The film unit is hoping that Robot success will repeat even in the case of 2.0 in the Telugu states. For the record, Chiranjeevi too graced the promotional events for the film Robot.
