The Pakistan-US relations have jumped to what it seems like an all-time low after President Donald Trump’s “lies and deceit” tweet. Bitterness and war of words have broken out between the two nations with Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif saying that Islamabad would not be conceding with the honor of our country.

He also tweeted, saying that “History teaches us not to blindly trust the US”. According to the local report, Asif tweets were in Urdu, when translated, it says, Pakistan has been forthcoming in helping the troops of US whenever they carried out attacks in Afghanistan.

“You have asked what we did. A dictator surrendered on a single phone call, our nation is the witness to the worse bloodbath, which you carried out attacks on Afghanistan using our bases. Your forces were supplied arms and explosives through our soil, thousands of our civilians and soldiers became victims of the war that was carried out by you,” he tweeted.

The war of words between the two nations began after Trump tweeted that US aid of $33 billion to Pakistan was in vain. “The US has thoughtlessly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they in return they gave us lies and deceit. They thought our leaders are fools. They have given shelter to terrorists whom we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!” Trump tweeted.
