Tamil star hero Surya, enjoys a huge fan following in all the South Indian states. While Director KV Anand is hailed for his fearless filmmaking. Surya and KV Anand combination saw films like Ayan (Veedokkade in Telugu) and Maattraan (Brothers in Telugu). Though Ayan saw a commercial success both in Kollywood and Tollywood, Maattraan failed to impress at the box office. But the film was hailed for its unique script and scientific accuracy.

Surya and KV Anand will once again collaborate for the third time. Lyca Productions, which is currently bankrolling India’s most expensive film, 2.0 starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar will produce Surya – KV Anand movie. The same has been confirmed by the production house through an official statement.Sources close to the production house confirmed that the script work is nearing completion. The movie is likely to go onto sets from this summer.

Meanwhile, Surya is currently shooting for Selva Raghavan’s NGK movie. Lyca Productions is planning to release the Surya – KV Anand movie simultaneously in both Telugu and Tamil at the same time. Surya’s ‘Gang’ flopped at the Telugu box office.

The leading music company of India, T-series is looking forward to investing in Tollywood post the international success of Baahubali. Its owner has made some teasing revelations to the media the other day.

The Head of T-series India, Bhushan Kumar made it very clear that he looking up to Tollywood as a safe investment area. He stated that he is very interested to put his stakes in T-town by roping a Telugu hero who tops entire South India. Bhushan claimed that he is readying a big project with the so-called top Telugu star which will be made in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi as multilingual. He made it clear that in two more days, he himself will make this big announcement officially. Even though he didn’t reveal the name of his hero, it is so obvious that the so-called top South hero who hails from Telugu is Prabhas. Prabhas is a PAN Indian star who not only tops South but entire India. But at the same time, Prabhas is occupied with Saaho and an untitled flick with Radha Krishna. It is a great suspense for now if this hero is Prabhas or any other Tamil hero who has markets in Southern regions.

For now, Prabhas is working hard for a big action sequence in Abu Dhabi which involves Jet races, car chases and rope stunts under the Hollywood action choreographer Kenny Gates. This movie is directed by Sujeeth and bankrolled by UV Creations.

Venky Kudumula has worked as Assistant Director for many years in T-town. However, he tested his luck with Chalo starring Naga Shourya and Rashmika Mandana. Even though the story is not so new to the audience, Venky managed to score a hit with his taking and screenplay. The flick went on becoming the highest grosser in Shourya´s career by collecting a share of 30 crores of course with the help of megastar Chiranjeevi´s promotions. This made him one of the most sought-after directors in the industry. Thus the producers are queuing in front of his office to get his dates. Among all, he has given his commitment to Sitara Entertainments who is so wanted to do a movie with Natural star Nani. as a result, Venky prepared a story for Nani and narrated it. It’s a known thing that the producer Danayya is bankrolling Rajamouli’s next with huge budget. He was rumored to be asked his director a favor regarding this multi-starrer. The details of this special request are stated below.

Danayya got dates of mega power star Ram Charan Tej in order to work with him at any cost. On the same note, he also got a commitment from Rajamouli way back. As Rajamouli became free after Baahubali, he gave his dates to Danayya. Fortunately, Danayya got a chance to fulfill his two commitments at a time with the multi-starrer as Rajamouli agreed to work with Charan along with NTR Jr. This multi-starter is going to feature both these heroes as brothers. On this regard, the producer Danayya has asked Rajamouli to make this flick in National level rather than only for Tollywood. Also, he asked Rajamouli to include some special effects even though this flick was initially planned to be a mass action entertainer. Upon his request, he is now including high voltage fights with some special effects less than Baahubali. For now, NTR Jr and Charan have finished their one week tour and are returning to Hyderabad.

This flick is currently in pre-production stage. It will end by the month of August. After a gap of two months, the regular shoot will begin in the month of November. Meanwhile, Charan will complete his ongoing flick with Boyapati Srinu and Taarak completes his flick with Trivikram.

Acclaimed and versatile director Vikram Kumar directorial ‘Hello’, starring Akhil Akkineni fared decently well at the box office. The movie failed to impress the Telugu audience, especially in the Telugu states. Though this is not seen as a backlog for the director, it is definitely not the kind of films one would expect from someone like Vikram Kumar.

His movies 13B, 24 and Manam had a great run at the box office. A recent news about the about the director is going viral on social networking sites. According to Bollywood sources, action hero Akshay Kumar asked the Vikram Kumar to come up with a script. Keeping Akshay Kumar’s stardom and market in mind, the director drafted an action script and narrated to the Bollywood star hero.

The actor also gave his nod of the movie. If everything goes well according to the plan, the film will go onto sets in June. Vikram Kumar previously directed the Bollywood movie 13B, starring Madhavan in lead role.

Lately, rumours surfaced hero Nani rejected the script narrated by Vikram Kumar. It will be interesting to see, whether the director’s film with Akshay Kumar will also remain as a rumour, or materialize!
