Hero Nikhil is someone, who always wants to stay away from controversies. The actor isn’t seen in the much public glare, except for his occasional presence in film functions. The actor rose to fame with his character ‘Rajesh’ in the movie Happy Days. Since then, Nikhil has etched a name for himself in Tollywood.

By selecting unique scripts like Karthikeya, Surya vs Surya, Keshava, and many others, the actor impressed both the critics and his young fans. It is not surprising that, Nikhil has a huge female following, especially from the college girl.

In the latest incident, Nikhil has disappointed his fans, and a prominent news channel dearly. As a part of his upcoming film ‘Kirrak Party’ promotions, the actor asked a TV Channel to shoot a special promotional event on the occasion of Holi. The actor and the channel agreed to shoot the program between 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. What’s surprising is, the actor really never turned up. Despite repeated calls from the media house, the actor did not arrive at the channel studio on time.

Close sources reported that the actor bluffed that, he is around the corner, and will reach within 10 minutes. It was only at 2:30 pm the actor reach the News studio. The promotional event has been shot, and the actor left.Meanwhile, the news channel is asking, whether Nikhil will behave the same way if it is a live program? Or a direct interview? Only Nikhil can answer these questions!

Superstar Rajinikanth’s teaser (Tamil) has released amid huge expectations. Right from the movies promotional posters, it is clear that Rajinikanth will be playing a mass-don role in the movie. Even in the teaser, with his unique mannerisms, and out-of-the-world style, Rajinikanth truly rocked.

The opening scene shows Nana Patekar, heckling ‘Kaala’ about his name. Soon, he realizes what Kaala is, and what he means when it comes to business. Though the outfit of Rajini in this movie is quite different from Baasha…. the fans will surely find the birth of a new style in ‘Kaala’. At the time of release, Baasha was hailed for his style and mannerism.

Director Ranjith Pa, who previously showed Rajini as ‘Kabali’ once again excelled in bringing the right blend of heroism coupled with mannerism and rowdyism. Santhosh Narayan who gave the chartbuster ‘Neruppu Da’, once again scores a ton with the latest BGM ‘Unnayium Mannayium’.

The trailer clearly offers a galaxy of fan moments, be it Rajini’s style, mannerisms and dialogues. Similarly, the movie is likely to be a fight between Kaala, a demi-god for people living in slums and a corrupt politician. The move has loads of sentiment and electrifying content to offer.

Director Mahi V Raghav caught everyone’s attention with his debut movie ‘Anando Brahma’. The movie starred Taapsee Pannu and Srinivas Reddy in lead roles. Post that, though the director is not seen anywhere in the film circles, he is busy in the political circles.

It is learned that Mahi V Raghav will be directing a biopic film on former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy (or YSR). The director is currently busy in finalizing the cast for the film. In addition, the director finished the script work very recently, according to close sources.

Though Akkineni Nagarjuna has been asked to reprise the role of YSR on the silver screen, the senior hero reportedly rejected the offer. According to the grapevine, Malayalam superstar Mammootty will be essaying the role of YSR on the screen. Meanwhile, Nayantara will be playing the female lead in the movie.

Shashi Devireddy and Vijay Chilla will be bankrolling the movie. An official announcement confirming the lead cast and the rest of the technical team is expected very soon from the director. Moreover, YSR’s biopic is aimed at the 2019 AP Assembly elections.

With the same approach, he reportedly signed two flicks with A.M Ratnam and Mythri Movie Makers while doing Agnyathavasi. As his recent outing became a disaster, he is not allowing any director to approach him unless he gets satisfied with the story.

He is busy in Politics but the same person declared that he should do a couple of clicks more to establish and find his party Jansena. But in reality, not one development was observed by movie lovers post-Agnyathavasi. Santosh Srinivas still struggling to impress Pawan Kalyan and RT Neason has backed off from the project. It’s high time for Pawan to compromise and sign flicks with the directors like Harish Shankar, Puri Jagannath who always love to work with him to end his Movie career in flying colors before entering active Politics. He has to choose a story and lock a director to complete two flicks before 2019’s General Elections.

The craziest star of Telugu, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has left movies for Politics after Agnyathavasi. However, some makers who gave advances to Pawan are in a perplexed situation due to his political plans.

Ace production banner Mythri Movie Makers has signed a deal with Pawan Kalyan in the past. They bought call sheets of Pawan for a movie under Santosh Srinivas. For 40 days, they agreed to pay 40 crores which almost gives us the equation of one crore per day. They got Pawan signed in the contract by paying 10 crores in advance already but Pawan vanished from Industry to serve people leaving Mythri Movie Makers in huge confusion. As there is no indication from Pawan, the production house approached him to do justice. Sources close to Pawan Kalyan claimed that he assured the makers that he would start the movie in six more months as per his promise. He also assured that in case he fails to do the movie, he would return 10 crores without any cuts. So this amount of MMM will be in Pawan’s account until the end of this year. The deal is fine for now but some say that MMM should suffer the interest rate losses for all this year as Pawan has not agreed to pay the interest if he needs to return the advance.

This production team is busy bankrolling big flicks. Rangasthalam is ready for release on 31st March and another flick Savyasachi will be out in the month of May. Even if they do a flick with Pawan, it would cost 70 crores of the budget to complete the flick and it should get blockbuster status to escape from losses.

The Celluloid Master Trivikram Srinivas has taken a crucial decision in his career as a maker. This new plan of his has now become new talk of the industry.

The debacle of Agnyathavasi has not only disappointed Trivikram in a huge way but also made him realize that he is crossing limits in terms of production. He started analyzing himself and discovered the fact that movies which wrapped up below 25 crores like A Aa ended up collecting 55 crores whereas flicks with star heroes are just entering safe zones. And movies like Khaleja and Agnyathavasi which cost tons of crores fetched losses.

So he gave himself a new regulation in his career such that he should work with small heroes in parallel to star heroes in a single year. After his flick with Tarak, he will direct Venkatesh who has relatively a less market and then he immediately does a flick with Natural star Nani. Observing his lined up projects, we can clearly analyze that Trivikram learned from his mistakes paying a huge price for Agnyathavasi and from now on, he will make flicks with a medium budget and with young heroes as well.

For now, he is busy concentrating on Tarak’s flick. Reshaping the script in order to score a hit at any cost, he is giving lion share to entertainment. This movie will be bankrolled by S.Radha Krishna and music will be scored by Anirudh Ravichander.

South India Film Theatres Shutdown From Tomorrow

Chairman of ‘Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce Digital Committee’, Damodar Prasad made an official statement that all movie theatres in South India will remain locked out from March 2nd. The decision has been taken after the Committee has made multiple negotiations with Digital Service Providers.

Speaking at the press meet, Damodar Prasad said, ‘we pleaded the Digital Service Providers Organization to call-off the VPF (Virtual Print Fees) charges. But they have gone against it. So far, we have held negotiations thrice in the past few weeks. But we have been facing resistance every time from them. Moreover, one of their preventative said, ‘All the very best to the Industry’ in a sarcastic tone. This clearly shows their nature towards our requests.

This behaviour from the Digital Service Providers, who solely rely on the Film Industry, is highly uncalled for. That’s the reason, all the film theatres in South India are standing united, and have called for a lockout.

The Virtual Print Fees should be cancelled after 5 years, from 5 years of the installation of Digital Services in the theatres.This is a worldwide practice. But in India, the Digital Service Providers are ignoring this. Moreover, they have increased their fees drastically in the last couple of months. Producers, Distributors and Exhibitors are all standing united and fishing against this injustice’.
