Sukumar directorial ‘Rangasthalam’, starring Ram Charan and Samantha in lead roles is already creating a strong buzz in the film circles. Sukumar, who is often touted as a ‘clever’ director has taken utmost care in making the film. The first single from the film, ‘Yentha Sakkagunnave’ already stole the hearts of music lovers.

Adding to this, the latest single, ‘Ranga Ranga Rangasthalaana’, the theme song of the movie, is receiving a tremendous and incredible response. Before the two singles from the movie, many opined that Devi Sri Prasad has lost his Midas touch. But these two songs, once again proved that he is the boss when it comes to diversity and uniqueness.

 Ranga Rangasthalaana is a high-spirited festive song, with the typical village style backdrop and setting. The song opens with, Chitti Babu aka Ram Charan, asking the drummers, ‘Vinabadettu Kaaduraa… Kanbadettu Kottandehey’ once again tells you the creativity and ingenuity of the director. The song is rich in its literature too, talking about people and their behavior.

We can expect Ram Charan to give the audience a great visual treat with his energetic and electrifying village-styled dance moves. It is a peppy, foot tapping, vintage village styled oora mass song.

Bollywood beauty, and one of the leading actresses among her contemporaries, Kangana Ranaut revealed spine-chilling details about her on-going film ‘Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi’. As the title suggests, it is an upcoming epic biographical film about Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi, whose real name is Manikarnika.

The film has completed its first scheduled recently in Ramoji Film City. Key action sequences have been completed in the first schedule. The movie’s 2nd schedule is currently going on in Bikaner, Rajasthan.

Speaking about her experience while shooting for the film, ‘it is clearly understood from the film title. The film is a war-drama. I am playing a very challenging role, the title role of Manikarnika (The Queen of Jhansi) in the movie.

I even learned horse-riding and sword fighting. I was met with many accidents throughout the shooting. In one of the accidents, I thought I almost lost my life’.

Surprisingly, Kangana Ranaut is being paid Rs 11 crores as remuneration for a Bollywood movie. Though the remuneration for this upcoming war-drama is not known, trade analysts feel that it should be around Rs 16 crores – Rs 18 crores. SS Rajamouli’s father, and writer of Baahubali, Vijayendra Varma wrote the story for this film.

The cute and bubbly heroine, Nithya Menen is someone who is concerned about the impact her role brings, than worrying about the length of her role in a film. She is a synonym for acting and cuteness couple together. The actress is recently seen playing a ‘lesbian’ role in the movie ‘Awe’.

She once again proved that she breathes life into any character she plays on the silver screen. Nithya said that she is quite happy for Nani after Awe went on to rake excellent collections at the box office. At the same time, she made it clear she would never venture into production.

‘I will definitely direct a film in the future. But I will never produce a film’, the actress said in an interview.

‘A lot of discussion goes between me and the director about my character. I involve myself right in developing the character to its dialogues, even on the sets. Currently, I am trying to learn various crafts involved in film making. This will definitely take time, and I am prepared for that.

Many producers and directors are approaching. I am just selecting roles that are of my taste. I don’t want to end up as a routine heroine’, concluded Nithya.

The filmmaker thought that his dream to direct Sridevi would be fulfilled with this project.

The sudden demise of Sridevi left every one disheartened. While few paid their homage by accompanying her until her final destination, many took to social media. Karan Johar also accompanied Sridevi, for the final time. The filmmaker has reportedly shelved the film, instead of finding a replacement for Sridevi. This clearly shows the kind of respect and bonding Karan Johar is having towards the eternal beauty Sridevi.

Reportedly, Karan Johar has taken Sridevi’s daughters; Jahnavi and Kushi under his wings. With Jahnavi to resume shooting for her debut film after a little while, Kushi too will be seen in a Bollywood film pretty soon.
