The Celluloid Master Trivikram Srinivas has taken a crucial decision in his career as a maker. This new plan of his has now become new talk of the industry.

The debacle of Agnyathavasi has not only disappointed Trivikram in a huge way but also made him realize that he is crossing limits in terms of production. He started analyzing himself and discovered the fact that movies which wrapped up below 25 crores like A Aa ended up collecting 55 crores whereas flicks with star heroes are just entering safe zones. And movies like Khaleja and Agnyathavasi which cost tons of crores fetched losses.

So he gave himself a new regulation in his career such that he should work with small heroes in parallel to star heroes in a single year. After his flick with Tarak, he will direct Venkatesh who has relatively a less market and then he immediately does a flick with Natural star Nani. Observing his lined up projects, we can clearly analyze that Trivikram learned from his mistakes paying a huge price for Agnyathavasi and from now on, he will make flicks with a medium budget and with young heroes as well.

For now, he is busy concentrating on Tarak’s flick. Reshaping the script in order to score a hit at any cost, he is giving lion share to entertainment. This movie will be bankrolled by S.Radha Krishna and music will be scored by Anirudh Ravichander.

South India Film Theatres Shutdown From Tomorrow

Chairman of ‘Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce Digital Committee’, Damodar Prasad made an official statement that all movie theatres in South India will remain locked out from March 2nd. The decision has been taken after the Committee has made multiple negotiations with Digital Service Providers.

Speaking at the press meet, Damodar Prasad said, ‘we pleaded the Digital Service Providers Organization to call-off the VPF (Virtual Print Fees) charges. But they have gone against it. So far, we have held negotiations thrice in the past few weeks. But we have been facing resistance every time from them. Moreover, one of their preventative said, ‘All the very best to the Industry’ in a sarcastic tone. This clearly shows their nature towards our requests.

This behaviour from the Digital Service Providers, who solely rely on the Film Industry, is highly uncalled for. That’s the reason, all the film theatres in South India are standing united, and have called for a lockout.

The Virtual Print Fees should be cancelled after 5 years, from 5 years of the installation of Digital Services in the theatres.This is a worldwide practice. But in India, the Digital Service Providers are ignoring this. Moreover, they have increased their fees drastically in the last couple of months. Producers, Distributors and Exhibitors are all standing united and fishing against this injustice’.

Danayya To Produce The Trivikram And Nani Movie

If everything goes well, Nani could become the first hero to clock in dozen hits very soon. ‘Natural Star’ Nani has already clocked 8 back-to-back hits. Given his mass look and Rockstar look in his upcoming film ‘Krishnarjuna Yuddham’, the hero is sure to back another hit in his career.

According to latest reports, Nani has reportedly signed for a film with ‘words wizard’ Trivikram Srinivas. The director is currently busy in his pre-production works for Jr NTR movie. Once the movie is complete, his movie with Nani will go on to sets. What’s more interesting is that the DVV Danayya will be producing the film.

Initially, Trivikram had to do a film with Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh after his film with Jr NTR. Given Danayya’s request, Trivikram will go ahead with Nani, after completing his movie with Jr NTR.

Trivikram Srinivas is known for his family entertainers. Moreover, Nani is also a family hero. The duo’s combination is surely taking the expectations on the film to sky high. If everything goes well, Trivikram and Nani movie will go onto sets towards the end of this year.DVV Danayya is already producing Jr NTR – Ram Charan multi starrer under the direction of SS Rajamouli.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan Tej is quite excited about his latest flick ‘Rangasthalam’. The Sukumar directorial has already created quite a buzz in Tollywood circles. Mega fans are expecting that Rangasthalam will be a turning point in Ram Charan’s film career. The movie is made on a huge budget, with mind-blowing periodic sets in the film.

The first single from the movie, ‘Yentha Sakkagunnave’ already became a chartbuster. The second single from the movie will release tomorrow (March 2nd) evening. The second single is likely to be titled, ‘Ranga Rangasthalam’, the title song from the movie.

According to sources close to the production unit, the exact time of song’s release will be revealed later. Currently, director Sukumar is planning to completely wrap up the shooting by this week. Parallelly, the post-production work is also underway.

Samantha is starring opposite Ram Charan in the movie. Moreover, the film’s theatrical rights already fetched a whopping price. The movie will be releasing on March 30th, 2018. Ram Charan’s mass look, Devi Sri Prasad’s music coupled with Sukumar’s direction & screenplay are raising the expectations on the film. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling the film.

If there is any hero who is popular along the length and breadth of the nation, it is superstar Rajinikanth. One needs to tell about his fan base and popularity in Tamil Nadu. The superstar carries similar fan base and craze in Andhra Pradesh, and other South Indian states. Rajinikanth films have a strong market even in Northern parts of India.

But his latest gangster flick Kaala is facing scarcity of buyers in Telugu states. Though two-star producers from Tollywood came forward to shell Rs 30 crores – Rs 33 crores for its Telugu theatrical rights, the Kaala production team has not yet finalized the deal. Through close sources, it is understood that Kaala makers are quoting Rs 40 crores, against the offered amount.

Meanwhile, the Telugu buyers are quite sceptical about Kaala performance. Given the low turnouts for Rajinikanth’s Kabali, the buyers feel that Rs 33-crore is a very nice deal. Moreover, Mahesh Babu’s ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’, and Allu Arjun’s ‘Na Peru Surya’ are also releasing around.

It will be interesting to see whether the makers of Kaala can strike a deal, or will release the film on their own in the Telugu states. Kaala is set to hit the screen on April 27th.

Tons of her fans are hailing her and following her truck to the burial ground. The creative maker Ram Gopal Varma’s dream combo project with King Nagarjuna has got its release date fixed. Along with the first look poster and title, RGV dared to announce the release date of this flick which is irking Chaitanya.Going into the details, the sensational combination of Shiva that is RGV-Nag is repeating after 25 years. RGV has written a hard-boiled cop drama for his good friend Nagarjuna to be back on form. This flick is currently in production stage and the regular shoot is progressing at a rapid pace. The movie will get wrapped up by the end of March but clever RGV decided to release this flick on 25th May to avoid competition with biggies like Rangasthalam, Naa Peru Surya, and Bharat Ane Nenu.

As RGV shall not change his release date, only Chai has to compromise on his release date. He should either prepone or postpone Savyasachi to avoid collision with his father.

Savyasachi has also got its own buzz on par to Officer. The movie is directed by Chandoo Mondeti who scored two back to back hits with Karthikeya and Premam Telugu.
