‘Toliprema’ has stood out as a classic movie in Pawan Kalyan’s film career. Another mega hero Varun Tej’s latest movie is also titled ‘Toliprema’. Venky Atluri is directing the film, and star producer Dil Raju is producing the film on his own banner ‘Sri Venkateswara Creations’. Given the title and banner, there are high expectations for the film. The film’s first look only raised the expectations on the movie. ‘Toliprema’ production team announced that the film is slated to release on 9th of February, 2017.

Shockingly, the film ‘Gayathri’ from Manchu Family is also slated to release on the same day of ‘Toliprema’ release, i.e. on 9th of February. Director RR Madan who is known for his unique films like ‘Aa Naluguru’, ‘Pellaina Kotthalo’ is directing the film.

Mohan Babu is playing the lead role in the film ‘Gayathri’. Manchu Vishnu will also be seen in a key role in the film. There are already high expectations from Telugu audience and Film circles. It is learnt that film is backed by strong screenplay and dialogues along with direction.

With the films releasing on the same day, the collections for Varun Tej’s ‘Toliprema’ and Mohan Babu’s ‘Gayathri’ will be impacted’ said Trade experts. Though Mohan Babu will be seen on the screen after a gap of 3 years, one cannot underestimate him.

‘Natural Star’ Nani has been on high after having 7 successful movies at the box office. The actor is currently aiming for his 8th on the row. Nani’s starrer ‘MCA – Middle Class Abbayi’ is all set to release on 21st December 2017. Meanwhile, the actor has also ventured into production parallelly. He is producing the film ‘Awe’ on his own banner ‘Wall Poster Cinema’. The film is being directed by Prashanth Varma.

It is already known that the film has a strong star cast in the form of Kajal Agarwal, Nithya Menon, Regina, Srinivas Avasarala, Eesha Rebba, Nani (voice only) and Ravi Teja (voice only). The latest is the release of Regina Cassandra’s look from the movie. Nani tweeted the poster stating, ‘I know how hard you have worked for this Regina. The AWE team wishes you a happy birthday’. Regina too responded to the tweet by saying, ‘This is the best birthday gift, Nani. Thank You.’ Regina celebrated her birthday on 13th December.

Regina who is known for her glamour roles in the films has shocked everyone with her first look at the upcoming movie Awe. She sported a different and unique look for the film. Many are expressing that Regina might well be playing the role of a Villain in the movie.

In 2001, Nandamuri Balakrishna and Director Gopal have known for his violent mass entertainers set a factionist backdrop, created a wave in the Telugu film industry by shaking existing box office records and rewriting them with an Oora mass movie called “Narasimha Naidu”.

This movie was a faction drama, where the story revolves around a protagonist who has to return to his violent ways after being undercover as a dance master.

That film was a super success and went on to become a blockbuster and an industry hit. Now after 16 years of the release of Narasimha Naidu, the industry is buzzing with the news that there is a chance of making a sequel to the movie. Talks are on rounds that popular writer Chinni Krishna, the man who is behind movies like Indra, Badrinath etc. has penned a sequel for Narasimha Naidu is waiting for Balayya’s green signal.

If the speculations are going to become reality, then Nandamuri Balayya’s fans are in for a big mass treat. Balakrishna is busy finishing his dubbing formalities for his upcoming action entertainer Jai Simha, which is directed by KS Ravi Kumar and co-starred by Nayantara, Haripriya and Natasha Doshi. Superstar Mahesh Babu’s sister, Manjula who has produced blockbuster like Pokiri and Yem Maya Chesave is currently directing her directorial debut film ‘Manasuku Nacchindi’. The film stars Sandeep Kishan and Amyra Dastur as hero and heroine. There are expectations on Manjula’s directorial venture. 

The latest buzz is that the producer-turned-director has also managed to strike a deal with ‘Natural Star’ Nani, who is currently taking box office collections by storm in recent times. It is also learnt that Nani has agreed to for the offer after it came from the Superstar’s family.

Manjula’s current film ‘Manasuku Nacchindi’ is being produced by her husband Sanjay Swaroop on and Kiran on ‘Anandi Arts’ banner. ‘Manjula has decided to produce her next film in her own banner. Maybe that is the reason she approached Nani with an offer. It is still unknown whether she herself would be directing Nani’s movie or will hand it over to some other director.
