The social media went viral claiming that, a fan attacked Bollywood hero Arjun Kapoor at the shooting location of the film ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ in the state Uttarakhand. According to the reports When Arjun Kapoor denied a to shake hand with the fan, he was reportedly attacked. It was also reported that the police arrested the man who attacked Arjun Kapoor.

Reacting on this, Arjun Kapoor slammed these reports and said, ‘No such thing as reported in the media took place. No one attacked me. A small mishap took place on the sets’. He further went on to say, ‘my whole family is upset with this news. The media is over-reacting and its curiosity is hurting every one of us. People who wanted publicity are behind this.’

Arjun Kapoor also posted a link an article that claimed that he was allegedly attacked. But he did accept that a mishap took place at the shooting spot. The incident may be minor or major, but its confirmed that he was attacked by someone.

Ram Charan Cinema Title Change

The first look of the film ‘Rangasthalam’ has been released today morning. The Ram Charan starrer ‘Rangasthalam’ is being directed by Sukumar. If one can carefully observe, the title in the first look doesn’t feature the year ‘1985’. The film was initially promoted as ‘Rangasthalam 1985’. But in the first look, we nowhere find the year even in a small font.

‘Everyone knows that the film is set in the 1985 backdrop. The director might have felt there is no need of ‘1985’ in the film’s title. That should be the reason for its disappearance from the official title,’ said a source close to Mega Family.

Ram Charan’s ‘mass look’ greatly captivated his fans and Telugu audience. Many felt that Ram Charan’s look had some similarities to Megastar Chiranjeevi’s look in ‘Mutamesthri’ (1993) film. Samantha is the heroine in the film.

Sukumar announced that the film is slated for release on March 30th, as opposed to the rumored date of March 29th. As a result, ‘Rangasthalam’ and ‘Mahanati’ wouldn’t be releasing on the same day. ‘Mahanati’, a biopic of legendary Savithri Garu is set to release on March 29th.

There was a rumour stating that TDP leader from Anantapur, Paritala Ravi got Pawan Kalyan’s head shaved. And the rumour gained strength after some pictures of Pawan Kalyan emerged without hair. Many stories stayed afloat until today. A story about the incident went like this:

‘Mega family approached a senior actor that they are interested in purchasing his house. The Mega family gave the advance and occupied the house. When the senior actor questioned Mega family, they refused to vacate the house. The senior actor approached Paritala Ravi. But Pawan Kalyan was still adamant to vacate the house. In this context, Paritala Ravi taught a life-long lesson Pawan Kalyan’.

Interestingly, no one from Paritala family or Mega family ever responded to this.

Pawan Kalyan trashed the rumour and had finally put an end to it after it started 15 years ago. ‘It is not true that Paritala got my head shaved. That was just a rumour spread by the TDP party during that time. Only with Andhra Pradesh’s development in mind, I overlooked all these aspects and supported the TDP party in 2014 Assembly elections.

With Pawan statements, it is finally clear that Pawan Kalyan – Paritala Ravi episode was just a rumour.

Young Rebel star became the heartthrob of Indian cinema with Baahubali. He is adored, worshipped and loved by every film fan in India. But recently, in an interview, the Baahubali hero has shared some interesting aspects of his life. He also confessed whom he like the most.

Speaking to an English daily, Prabhas opened up about his interests. ‘I am a big fan of Raveena Tandon. I am always taken by awe whenever I watch Raveena Tandon in ‘Ello Ji Sanam’ song from the movie Andaaz Apna Apna, which released in the year 1994.

It is really shocking to know that Prabhas had his liking towards Raveena who hails from Bollywood. Raveena Tandon also acted in few Telugu movies like Bangaru Bullodu (Balakrishna) and Aakasa Veedhilo (Nagarjuna).   

‘Baahubali’ was distributed by Anil Tadani, husband of famous Bollywood heroine Raveena Tandon. The couple also visited Hyderabad recently. Prabhas met them in person and has spent some good time with Anil and Raveena. In this context, both Raveena and Prabhas posed for some selfies. These pictures went viral after Raveen posted them on Twitter.

Cute and glamourous doll, Keerthi Suresh is seen pulling the cheeks of Power Star Pawan Kalyan in the pic, in a cute and romantic manner. Though Pawan is seen playing his tantrums by turning away his face, it is easily understood that the still belongs to a romantic scene between the two.

The working still was shared by Trivikram Srinivas on a social networking site. ‘There is emotion. There is romance too, more than what you see. I am eagerly waiting for the film like any other fan of Pawan Kalyan. 33 days of time is still there for the film’s release. ‘Saptagiri LLB’ Movie review

‘Saptagiri LLB’ is the official remake of Bollywood hit film ‘Jolly LLB 2’. It was a black comedy film, with comedy, entertainment, scenes questioning the honesty of the lawyers and power-packed courtroom scenes as its main strengths. Akshay Kumar received critical acclaim for his role in the Hindi version. Hoping that the film would bring success if a remake is made in Telugu, producer Dr. Ravi Kiran purchased the remake rights to the film and produced Saptagiri LLB with Saptagiri as the lead cast.

Story:

Saptagiri, a son of a farmer hails from a small village. After fighting many cases in the village, Saptagiri feels that he could get the recognition, name, and money only if he practices law in the city. He also wishes to marry his cousin. He comes to Hyderabad and lives with his brother-in-law. In due course, he comes to know that a lawyer named Raj Pal (Sai Kumar) saves the accused from an accident case, in which many have lost their lives. Saptagiri chooses to file a PIL in the court. The rest of the story all what difficulties he faced after filing the PIL? How did he overcome those difficulties? And who died in that accident? and finally, how did he manage to achieve his mission?

Analysis:

Director Charan Lakkakula made necessary changes to the original screenplay to suit the Telugu nativity. The film revolves around the sensitive point that how the accused in many road accidents are going scot-free. Saptagiri’s transformation from a comedy role in the first half to an intense emotional role in the later part of the film is a treat to watch. He shows his acting skills in the scene where he brings justice to Farmers. The Courtroom scenes are the highlight of the film.

The comedy track, along with romantic scenes and songs manage to hold the audience for the first half. The second half has its equal share of romantic track and ingesting twists that elevate the film gradually. The emotional courtroom scene at the climax takes the film to its peak.

The audience will have a good laughter watching Saptagiri and Shakalaka Shankar on the screen. Sai Kumar and Saptagiri are a plus for the movie. Saptagiri managed to fare well in songs and fights. The BGM elevates the emotional scenes. Screenplay and direction complement each other. The film is produced with good production values.

  • Emotional Court scene at the climax

Drawbacks:

  • Drag and slow narration.

It’s been a long time since Akkineni camp hero Sumanth had a hit at the Telugu box office. That’s the reason producers and directors hardly approached Sumanth in the recent times. After his film ‘Naruda Donaruda’ flopped at the box office, it is only ‘Malli Rava’ offer that went to the hero. Though the producer and director are beginners, it’s really a brave move by Sumanth to go ahead with them. let us take a look whether the film fared well at the box office or not!

Story:

The story revolves around the two principal characters; Karthik (Sumanth) and Anjali (Akanksha Singh). They both love each other right from their teenage. While everything seems to go on a positive note, they either end up in dispute or someone brings a rift between them. At a point where, marriage is the next immediate thing, the couple break-up. The rest of the story is all about the consequences that lead to their breakup, and whether the couple had a happy ending or not.

Analysis:

Given the film’s story that starts in 1997 and ends in 2017 introduces us to a new style of flashback approach. The narration scores better than the film’s story. The director was successful in depicting a ‘realistic story’ rather than a movie. Director Gowtham stayed away from unwanted emotional scenes, comedy track and commercial scenes. He managed to stick to his point on how love changes through teenage and later stages in life. The screenplay is the greatest strength of the film. Director managed to illustrate various aspects that take place in different phases of life without any confusion or muddle.

Hero Sumanth proved how good an actor he is, given a good subject and a talented director. It’s hard to find Sumanth in the film. Karthik will surely travel with you to home. This is undoubtedly the best performance in Sumanth’s career. Sumanth’s exhibition of subtle emotions is fantastic to watch on the big screen. Even Akanksha Singh as Anjali excelled beautifully. The lead pair clearly lived up to the expectations of the director.

On the technical front, Cinematography, Music and production values added value to the film.

Plus Points:

  • Direction and Screenplay
  • Sumanth and Akanksha Singh Acting
  • Dialogues by Gowtham

Drawbacks:

  • Slow and draggy in few scenes

Katthi Mahesh made sarcastic comments that read ‘Pawan’s tour in Andhra Pradesh resembles Two kills for one shot. He is both promoting his upcoming film Agnathavasi and his Janasena party during this tour. He is utilizing this tour to phonate that he is a politician’.

Speaking to a media channel, Katthi Mahesh tried to justify his comments and the hypocrisy in attacking Pawan Kalyan. He has stated that ‘I will continue to target Pawan Kalyan until he reacts to his fans’ behaviour. His fans are abusing me on all social networking sites unnecessarily.
