Going by the latest reports, it is learned that yesteryear star heroine Ramya Krishna is likely to play the role of YSR’s wife. Initially, contemporary heroine Nayantara name was heard for the role in YSR’s biopic ‘Yatra’. But close sources to the production unit confirmed that Ramya Krishna is likely to be cast alongside Malayalam superstar Mammootty who is reprising the Late YS Rajasekhar Reddy on the silver screen.
Ramya Krishna once again attained the star status after she played the role of ‘Sivagami’ in Bahubali movie. The actress ruled the industry during her prime time not only with her glamour, but also her acting, and performance. Soon after that, she was seen in many supporting roles.
The decision to choose Ramya Krishna came after Nayantara reportedly rejected the offer. Initially, it was also rumored that Tamil Superstar Surya will be seen as YS Rajasekhar Reddy in the film.Recently, the film unit has confirmed Mammootty and even released the first look from the movie.
