Religion is one of the most powerful weapons in Indian Politics. Indian politicians drag ‘religion’ during their election campaign to win the votes on a communal basis. Everyone knows what impact the ‘Ram Mandir’ in Ayodhya had on BJP’s win in 2014 general elections. At that time Congress Party was trying to please the minority sections of the nation. But now, it looks like Congress has realized its mistake and is changing its mind. One has to wait and see how far the ‘Shiva’ mantra would favor Congress in the 2019 General Elections.

1000+ officials raided 187 locations in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, New Delhi and other cities in Andhra Pradesh linked to Sasikala and her aides. In these searches carried out, the IT Dept found an undisclosed amount of Rs. 1,430 crores.

The IT sleuths carried simultaneous raids in a multi-city operation across the nation. One IT official said that Rs. 7 crores in cash and Rs. 5 crores worth jewellery had been seized during IT search operations in Chennai. Clarifying on the ‘undisclosed income’, IT officials said that ‘this is only limited to undisclosed cash and unexplained cash introduced for acquiring several businesses. Matters pertaining to shell companies will be probed on separate lines.’

The IT officials were shocked after discovering 30-Crores of undisclosed income only in Chennai. 15 Bank lockers having diamond jewellery in them were also kept under ‘prohibitory orders.’

As far as the 670 acre Green Tea estate in Curzon is concerned, a special team consisting of 3 members is verifying the documents related to the estate. The IT officials expressed that ‘In coming few days, after the examination of various documents found during the searches we should be able to come to a conclusion. The total undisclosed money in the form of cash, property, jewellery, and others can be close to Rs. 2500 crores’.

Sasikala is currently serving her prison-term in Bengaluru Jail.

And guess what, the metro station is none other than ‘Ameerpet Metro Station.’

Ameerpet is often known as the ‘computer hub’ in Andhra Pradesh. It is famous for its computer institutes everywhere in Ameerpet and especially near the Maitrivanam Junction. From now onwards, Ameerpet would also be famous for its metro station. The Ameerpet Metro station holds the major interchange station as a part of the new metro.

The cruel and inhuman behavior of India men has been exposed in the recent times, with rapes taking place across the nation. The weak judicial and law enforcement systems are being put-to-shame every day. A mother and her daughter jumped off a moving train after a group of 10-15 men tried to rape the girl.

A 40-year-old woman and her 15-year-old daughter were traveling in an unreserved coach by Howrah-Jodhpur Express on Saturday. As soon as the train left the Howrah Railway Station, a group of 10-15 men started teasing the 15-year-old daughter of the woman. The woman rushed to the nearby the RPF (Railway Protection Force) police and complained about the men. A policeman soon arrived at the unreserved compartment and nabbed 3 men on the complaint.

Later those returned to the coach within 30 minutes. They started to harass and misbehave with the girl aggressively. When the girl was moving towards the toilet, few of the men grabbed and tried to rape her by dragging her into the Toilet. With the situation going out of her hands, and her daughter’s clothes torn, the woman put up a brave fight and jumped off the train along with her daughter.

They managed to walk to a nearby police station after regaining consciousness. The police have reportedly filed an FIR and immediate medical attention was given to the mother and the daughter.

19 people have reportedly died in a boat capsizing incident that took place yesterday evening in Ongole; Prakasham district. This incident clearly illustrates the repercussions of greed and failed security measure. A boat carrying 38 people capsized after hitting a small mound in the Krishna River.

The boat was carrying members from Walkers Club Association who belonged to Nellore. The mishap took place when it had hit a small mound in the river. After the boat hit the mound, it lost its control and capsized due to the brute force of waters at the conjunction of Krishna and Godavari Rivers. Unable to control, and with everyone coming to one side of the boat, the boat capsized.

The local fisherman nearby managed to save few lives. With most of the people being in their early 50’s, it became very difficult for them to be afloat until the rescue operations were underway.

Post the accident, shocking truths have come out. The boat that capsized was having a capacity of 18-20 people. It doesn’t even any authorization to conduct any tourist activities and there were no trails performed by the boat’s management before this trip. Even life jackets were not on the boat, said few locals. This is clearly a clear negligence on the behalf of the government right from the central to the corporation level.

A massive 7.3 magnitude earthquake hit the city of Halabja in Iraq at 11:48 pm on 12^th November 2017. According to the official sources, 210 people have lost their lives and nearly 1700 people were injured. The death toll is likely to increase with the rescue operations underway. The earthquake centered 31 kilometers from Halabja.

The city of Halabja is located along the Iraq-Iran border. Most of the people in this region live in houses made of mud bricks which easily crumble under little force. ‘Any earthquake above 7.0 can be devastating and it takes nearly 2 years for the people to recover from its damage’ said an official.

Unfortunately, the main hospital in the area was also severely damaged due to the earthquake. As a result, hundreds of victims who were brought to the hospital by the authorities were not treated.

The Iranian agencies also informed that more than 50 aftershocks were felt after the earthquakes. Electricity was cut-off in several Iraq and Iranian cities along the border. People of both the nations lying in the earthquake affected were seen on the streets.

Globalization and ever-changing trends in the society have brought a definite change in the human values and relations. In what could be termed as a disgrace to the civilized human evolution, a mother has married her son and her daughter. This shocking incident took place in the US state of Oklahoma. Going by the reports a 44-year-old woman named Patricia Spann has reportedly married her children.

Initially, in the year 2008, Patricia Spann married her son who was 18 at that time. The marriage reportedly sustained for a year. The son had filed for ‘annulment’ in the court after several issues cropped in the marital life of mom and son. Later the woman has married her daughter, Misty Spann, who was 18 in 2010.

After the police were informed about the woman marrying her own Kin, the police have taken mother and daughter into custody. The women appeared in a court hearing on Tuesday. Going by the case, the judge had initially sentenced the mother and daughter for 10years. After Misty Spann pleaded for guilty sating that it was her mother who took the advantage and induced her marriage, the judge had placed Spann under 2 years of supervision before implementing the 10years sentence.

This kind of incidents clearly illustrate the current moral and ethics among humans.

The murder of Pradhyumn, an 8-year-old studying Grade 2 in Ryan International School has raised concerns on the ever-increasing ‘criminal activity’ in the children’s mind. The Grade 11 student who murdered Pradhyumn is under the CBI’s custody. During the investigation, the 16-year-old student has revealed some spine-chilling truths.

‘This murder has been planned. The student searched for various kinds of toxic substances that are used to kill. He has also searched ways to erase details of fingerprints from the knife. The student purchased the knife just before the day of committing murder. His phone and laptop searches clearly showed his intentions to kill someone,’ said a CBI official.

Adding to it, ‘the case is currently being investigated. The investigation procedure is at a sensitive stage. We cannot further comment on this. Easy access to the internet and other technological advances are indirectly responsible for the increase in crime rate among children. The student is currently in the Juvenile Home’, said the CBI officials.

Psychologists expressed that, ‘The student has played a lot of video games that portrayed killing and violence. The student came to a mindset that, killing someone and escaping from the eyes of the justice is considered as heroism.’
