It isn’t something new for Visakha Sarda Petaadhipathi Swami Swaroopanandendra Saraswati to comment about state politics. He is actively involved in giving advice to YSRCP Chief YS Jagan in recent times and lashing out at TDP and Chandrababu time and again. The Swamiji once again made some controversial and communal remarks.

He went on to say, ‘In the past, during YS Rajasekhar Reddy rule, he helped the Brahman community. But the present government [TDP] is hardly bothered about us [Brahman community]. The CM is only inducting TDP supporters in key positions in Brahman Corporation to. There is a lot of caste feeling in the governance of the state government.’

Meanwhile, few people have raised eyebrows on these comments. Few have raised some critical questions to the Swamiji:

  1. Why was Brahman Corporation not established during YS Rajasekhar Reddy government?
  2. If YSR so heading to your advice, why did he try to bring a controversial religious G.O on the Tirumala Hill?
  3. How many cabinet ministers belonged to Reddy caste in YS government? And how many Cabinet Ministers belonged to Chowdary caste in Chandrababu government?
  4. If you [Swamiji] are really against caste and communal politics, then why didn’t you question YS?

Though the Swamiji answers these questions are not, it is very clear from the outset that he is a supporter of YS Jagan and hates Chandrababu Naidu and TDP for reasons only he knows.

Samantha, Vikram starrer ’10 Enradhukulla’ released on 21st October 2015. The film was directed by Vijay Milton, the fame of Tamil film ‘Goli Soda’ and produced by director AR Murugadoss. The film largely opened to mixed to poor reception. The film is being released in Telugu under the title ‘10’. The Telugu version is being produced by G. Subramanyam and Rama Rao Chintapalli.

The film is slated to release on December 15th in Telugu. Vikram has impressed Telugu audience with his films like ‘Siva Puthrudu’, ‘Aparichitudu’, ‘Nanna’ and ‘I – Manoharudu’. the film ‘10’ is also supposed to be an action thriller along the lines of Aparichitudu.

Akkineni Samantha will be seen playing a dual role for the first time in her career. Vikram would be playing the role of a driving instructor using various fictitious names. The film is expected to pull the mass audience to the theatres.

The film was declared as a flop in Kollywood. The film is produced on a budget of Rs 40 crores. One has to wait how the film would fare at the Tollywood box office.

Mohammed Akbar, a 30-year-old, doing his masters in computer sciences, was injured when a bullet hit his right cheek on December 6. His family has now put requests to both the Telangana government and also MEA, to make all arrangements for an emergency visa to permit them to visit the US.

The student is from Hyderabad, presently studying in Chicago was shot on his cheek as he was walking towards his car in the parking lot.

Speaking to the media, the elder brother, Mohammed Shafi told that his brother was walking towards his car, and suddenly a stranger approached and shot him without any reason. He said he is requesting both the state and central government to take it as an important case. He also told that he had also contacted the EAM for an emergency visa to visit his injured brother.

At present, the student is undergoing the treatment at a hospital in the US. The elder brother said, he is waiting for a positive reply from External affairs ministry, while the victim’s father appealed the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide safety to children living outside India for study or Job reasons.

Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently acting in the film ‘Jayasimha’. Nayantara is acting alongside Balakrishna in this film. The film is being directed by Tamil Director KS Ravikumar, who previously directed Rajinikanth films like Arunachalam and Linga and Chiranjeevi film Sneham Kosam. C Kalyan is producing the film.

The film has almost completed its shooting except for one song. Currently, the film’s unit is in Dubai. A romantic peppy number is being shot on Balakrishna and Nayantara in Dubai. Parallelly the post-production works are being completed at a rapid pace.

It is learned that the teaser of the film will be most likely released in this week. And the songs will be released at the audio launch event, expected to take place on 30th December 2017 in Hyderabad.

Prakash Raj, Natasha Doshi, Hari Priya are playing important roles in the film. The film marks the 102nd film of Balakrishna. The film is slated to release for 2018 Sankranti. Though there are not many expectations on the film, the production unit says it would be rake box office collections after its release. Chiranthan Bhatt is scoring the music for the film.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi’s visit to India will mark the first high-level visit by a Chinese leader to India after the Doklam face-off. The three countries Foreign Ministers will on Monday deliberate on a variety of significant global and regional issues in New Delhi. This includes ways to handle the threat of extremism, terrorism, at a high-level meeting of the trilateral alliance.

India is expected to push strongly for strengthening cooperation among the three countries to counter terrorism, especially from Pakistan based terror groups. Before the commencement of the trilateral talks, external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj will hold bilateral talks with China on a number of issues and also will hold a bilateral meeting with Russian foreign minister, Sergey Lavrov.

The bilateral talks with China are going to be crucial as they involve talks on bilateral, regional and global issues of importance including efforts to prevent military face-offs like the Doklam.

China may raise concern about the proposed quadrilateral in the Indo- Pacific, involving India, Japan, the US and Australia. This issue may come in the matter with New Delhi. While Russia, is India’s time-tested friend, but it is also concerned about New Delhi’s closeness with the US, but India has reassured Russia that it will stand with Russia on issues of Crimea and the situation in Syria.

UP woman alleges her husband gave her triple talaq after she went to attend a rally that was organized to thank PM Narendra Modi, over his government’s plan to bring in legislation to ban the instant triple talaq. The woman says, she got a divorce after she attended a ‘Dhanyavad Rally’.

Her husband, however, denied the allegations made by her and said, he divorced her due to her extramarital affair. But the UP woman retaliated saying it is her husband who is having an affair and that too with his aunt and he even had a son with her.

When I came back from the rally he said even the Prime Minister cannot do anything to harm him and gave me triple talaq. The victim Fayra said, he had beaten her and her child and threw them out of the house. Danish, the victim’s husband said, it has got nothing to do with Modi ji’s rally and that his wife is lying and she always did things like wearing jeans which annoyed him. He says, he decided not to keep his wife with him anymore.

Surprisingly, the couple had a love marriage in April 2016. The rally to thank Modi was organized by Farhat Naqvi, sister of Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, who is a social activist and runs an NGO.

Andhra Jyothi Editor-in-Chief, Radha Krishna has expressed his view through an editorial after Pawan Kalyan alleged that, Andhra Jyothi Newspaper is trying to label him and Janasena Party in the lines of ‘Kapu’ community.

Radha Krishna (RK) said that ‘Pawan Kalyan and his Janasena Party are honest and trustworthy when compared with other political leaders and political parties. But, aggression alone will do any good for him, his party and the people of the state.

’RK appreciated Pawan Kalyan for his character and nature after he said he is against communal politics and using caste for selfish reasons. Parallelly, RK also reminisced the fact that, he was not afraid despite many threats and warnings from more powerful leaders than Pawan Kalyan.

With this dual nature, people are finding it hard to come to a conclusion, whether Radha Krishna is appreciating or criticizing Pawan Kalyan.

Only 6-months before the 2019 elections, one can come to a conclusion whether ABN Andhra Jyothi and Radha Krishna are favouring or against or natural towards Pawan Kalyan.

The 84-year-old Ashok Singh, grandfather of Indian cricket player Jasprit Bumrah was found floating dead in the river Sabarmati. Bumrah’s grandfather has gone missing from two years. ‘He wanted to desperately meet his grandson [Jasprit Bumrah] on December 6th (Bumrah’s birthday). He travelled all the way from Jharkhand to Ahmedabad for the same. But Bumrah’s mother Daljith Kaur did not allow Ashok Singh to meet Bumrah. Being upset over the incident, Ashok Singh committed suicide,’ said a source.

Ashok Singh was a businessman in the past. After Bumrah’s father’s death, Ashok Singh was living with his elder son Balwinder Singh in Jharkhand. Ashok Singh is driving auto for his livelihood. It is also understood that the relations between Bumrah’s family and Ashok Singh family aren’t that great. After the death of Bumrah’s father in 2001, disputes took place between the family members, a post which, the relations were greatly affected.

Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Services officials have identified the body of Ashok Singh. ‘Seeing Bumrah was his [Ashok Singh] last wish. But unfortunately he died without the fulfilment of his last wish,’ said a relative close to the family.

Mother kills her baby for not having ‘her colour’

In what could be termed as a disgrace and shame to motherhood, a 28-year-old woman identified as Sandhya strangled her new-born baby for not being born with ‘her colour’. The incident took place in Kottayam in the state of Kerala.

Sandhya was arrested by the police for murdering the baby. Sandhya was married to Murikkattukudy Kandathinkara Binu 10 years ago. The couple had another child who is nine years old. The incident came to light after the doctors informed the police finding some marks on the baby’s neck.

‘Sandhya committed the murder in her house. After strangling the child, she told her husband that the child was not moving. They immediately rushed to the hospital. The child succumbed to the injuries. Doctors informed us after they found some marks on the baby’s neck.

Sandhya has confessed the crime during the investigation. She said her motive to kill the baby was that the baby did not have her colour of facial feature of her husband,’ said the police.

The police have arrested and registered a murder case against Sandhya.

It is reported that a 15-year-old boy has confessed to killing his mother and sister. ‘The police who carried out search found the boy in Varanasi after he left the home killing his mother and sister. The incident came to light after the boy’s father informed the police that his wife and daughter were killed and his son was not seen.’

Reportedly, the police stated that the boy hit his mother Anjali Agarwal (42) and sister Kanika (12) while they were sleeping. He hit them with the bat on their head and then stabbed them to death.

‘The boy was a weak student. We learnt that he used to play a crime-gangster game on the mobile phone. After his mother Anjali scolded the boy to come and study, the boy got angry and went into his room. On the same night, when his mother and sister were fast asleep, he killed them by hitting with the bat and stabbed with a pizza cutter,’ said the police who are currently investigating the case.

The boy after committing the crime fled to Varanasi with a smartphone and 2 Lakhs cash. He later called his father and said he is in Varanasi. The police traced the boy after the boy’s father informed that his son was in Varanasi.

Speaking to media persons in Sangli, Rane made these sensational comments. He also warned Uddhav Thackeray about revelations. Narayan Rane said, ‘I never troubled Balasaheb [Bal Thackeray] while he was alive. I have seen with my own eyes how Uddhav Thackeray and his family tortured Balasaheb. I condemned the actions even in the past. If Uddhav Thackeray doesn’t shut his mouth, I will reveal everything that he has done in the past.’

Narayan Rane joined Congress after quitting Shiv Sena in 2005. After some disputes within the party, he left Congress in September 2017 and started his own party ‘Rashtriya Swabhiman Party’. He announced his alliance with BJP for the upcoming elections.

The former CM also claimed that he would become a minister some way or the other after the elections. It is understood that his alliance with BJP is on mutual terms, where he is stated to be given a Ministry. Narayan Rane’s strong allegations came at the time when Shiva Sena is pressurising BJP against inducting his as a minister.

While PM Modi is busy beating his drum about ‘Swachh Bharat’, the government officials are busy trying to seek sexual favours to take the ‘clean India’ initiative forward. A 32-year-old woman lodged a complaint at Jutmil Police Station against IP Sarathi, Sub-Engineer, Raigarh Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh.

According to the reports, IP Sarathi visited a house in Tendudipa locality of Raigarh Town. He needs to grant the permission for the construction of ‘Toilet’ in the house after carrying out the examination. In this context, a 32-year-old, the resident of the house, alleged that IP Sarathi sought sexual favours from her to grant the permission for the construction of ‘Toilet’ in the house.

The woman stated that ‘the civic body sent served me a notice to stop the ongoing civil works and termed them as illegal. I produced the valid documents to IP Sarathi seeking permission to restart the works.’

The police did not arrest IP Sarathi as of now. He was only charged under Section 509(b) (act or gesture intended to insult the modesty of a woman).

‘Dangal’ fame, the 17-year-old actress, Zaira Wasim stated that she had a terrifying experience during her flight from Delhi to Mumbai in Air Vistara. The actress shared a video on Instagram in which she had a teary-eye explaining about the harassment she faced during her flight.

‘A middle-aged man sitting behind me tried to molest. He was caressing my neck while I was in sleep. I tried to record his act. But failed due to the dim lights in the flight. I managed to get an image of his acts someway,’ said the actress in her Instagram video.

Zaira Wasim further said, ‘I tried to reach out to the cabin crew for help, but it turned out to be of no use.’

Zaira was also seen arguing with the cabin crew stating, ‘I am disturbed. This is not done. Is this how you [Air Vistara] take care of girl’s’?

She ended the video by stating that, ‘Who is going to help our girls? If we don’t help ourselves no one will come to help us’.

Meanwhile, Air Vistara tweeted the Zaira Wasim stating that ‘thorough investigation will be carried out into the incident, and will support you [Zaira Wasim] in every way required’.

An individual established a new record (unofficial) after he managed to dupe people for a Rs. 100 crores+ fraud and receiving 105 Arrest Warrants. The accused is identified as Ravindra Babu, Director, Chadalavada Infrastructures.

Chadalavada Infrastructures carries out various electric works on contract basis and manufacture of electrical components. The accused has been arrested 10 days back under ‘Section 420’ by Panjagutta police, Hyderabad.

‘He used to collect money from various people by promising them high-interest rates. He had deceived people across the state. His victims are located in Prakasam, Kadapa and Nellore districts,’ said the police.

Ravindra Babu managed to establish contacts with influential and prominent people by projecting a false status. Even officials from the electricity department have been victims of Ravindra Babu after they were lured to invest in his ‘fake’ company.

‘After amassing over 100 crores, he used this money to purchase lands. He took loans from banks by mortgaging the land papers of the properties. In this way, he managed to secure loans over 150+ crores. Currently, the banks that lent him loans, and the victims of Ravindra Babu are trying to find ways to recover their money’, said Punjagutta police.

In a shocking incident, a bomb blast has been reported in the Guntur District of Andhra Pradesh. Reasons for the explosion is yet to be known. Reportedly, a 7-year-old boy had died due to the bomb blast. 3 people have been seriously injured in this incident.

The bomb blast took place in a house in one of the suburbs of Guntur. The news about the bomb blast became an instant sensation and made headlines on national and state media.

Investigative agencies are currently at the place of incident. Few are expressing that the bomb blast might have taken place after ‘hand-made explosives’ gone wrong. The agencies are yet to confirm any claims. The place where the incident took place is completely mobbed by the locals.

The injured persons are currently receiving treatment in the Guntur Government Hospital. More details are to come by.

In the name of adoption, a 13-year-old girl was married to a 35-year-old person. Going into the details, Venkayya and Parvathi had a daughter who was living in Pidugurallu, Guntur. The girl’s maternal uncle and maternal aunt stated that they would like to adopt the girl and took the girl child when she was 3 months old from her parents.

The girl’s maternal uncle and aunt took the child to their house in Rentachintala Mandal. The 13-year-old girl is currently studying 5th grade in the local government school.

Later, the maternal uncle and aunt of the girl got her married to Manoj (35 years), a resident of Kammavaripalem, Prakasam District. The marriage event went as high secret affair in Malakonda Swami Temple in Kandhukuru.

The girl’s parents were not even informed about the girl’s marriage. The maternal uncle and aunt threatened the girl that they would commit suicide by consuming ‘pesticide solution’. After the marriage, the girl was given sleeping pills, and she was subjected to sexual harassment in the name of the first night.

After the girl started shouting, the maternal uncle and aunt started harassing her along with her husband. After the girl’s mother wanted to visit the girl, she came to know what has happened. The police were informed and a case has been filed against her husband and her maternal uncle and aunt.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan announced that he is taking retirement from films. The Janasena Party Chief, who spoke at a political public gathering in Vijayawada stated that ‘few political leaders commented that Pawan Kalyan brings his party into the limelight only when he is free. He is not a true politician. To ensure I am committed fully to politics and the people of the state, I am permanently taking leave from films. I wouldn’t be acting anymore in films.’

This news comes as a shocker and surprise to the fans of the hero. ‘We all knew Power Star will quit films sooner or later. But we never knew that Agnathavasi would his last film. Though we were happy that our film hero will be leading the state politics with Janasena, we are equally disappointed and saddened by his decision to quit films,’ said the president of a Pawan Kalyan Fans association.

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu Compared Hyderabad to an 18-year-old girl.  He said the whole world is eyeing on this Indian Pearl city. Hyderabad is also famous for its world famous Biryani. I must say it is the most charming and most happening city in the country, he said. Hence ‘it becomes our duty and responsibility of KTR, to look after it carefully and make it appear most beautiful,’ he commented at the diamond jubilee year celebrations of National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) at Shilpa Kala Vedika.

Naidu informed that there will be two steel plants that will be coming up in the Telugu States as the center is committed and responsible to fulfill the promises of AP Reorganization Act 2014. ‘While one of them would be in Bayyaram, the other one is going to be at Kadapa,’ he added.

According to the Vice President, Venkaiah, Ballot is more powerful than Bullet. Naxals should actually prefer ballot to achieve their goals.  He also quoted, Chhattisgarh tribal girl securing 99% marks in UPSC as an example, of tribal children creating wonders with proper education.
