Everyone was shocked with hero Vishal announcing his political entry. The hero who is often seen involved in controversies and issues within the film industry took everyone by surprise after he filed his nomination papers to contest for the RK Nagar assembly seat. Dil Raju recently announced his latest project ‘Srinivasa Kalyanam’. The film is being directed by ‘Shatamanam Bhavati’ fame director Satish Vegesna. Nithin and Pooja Hegde will be playing the lead roles in the film. A shocking news has cropped up about the heroine role in this film lately.

It is a common practice that Dil Raju chooses a hero and a heroine for his film, and goes to any extent to cast them in his film. Dil Raju initially wanted Jr NTR to play the lead role in ‘Srinivasa Kalyanam’. He finally had to settle with Nithin as the hero. Similarly, he wanted to cast Sai Pallavi as the heroine. This is also due to the agreement which the Dil Raju and Sai Pallavi had. According to the agreement, Sai Pallavi should act in two films under the production of Dil Raju.

When the director approached Sai Pallavi with the script, the heroine was not impressed. She felt that her character had less importance and less screen space. It is even reported that Sai Pallavi decided to only act in films that have importance to her character.

Dil Raju clearly stated that it is impossible to change the script to accommodate Sai Pallavi, and has chosen Pooja Hegde as the replacement. Possibly for the first time, Dil Raju has gone against his wish. And many people are criticizing Sai Pallavi for rejecting Dil Raju’s film. Star Producer Dil Raju shocked everyone after he purchased the complete distribution rights for the film ‘Toliprema’ starring Varun Tej. He purchased the rights from the film’s producer BVSN Prasad for a high price. Expectations on the film doubled after the production unit used Pawan Kalyan’s super hit film ‘Toliprema’ as the title of the film. The film is being directed by Venki Atluri. Though Dil Raju himself wanted to produce the film, the film went into the hands of BVSN Prasad.

The title  ‘Toliprema’ is also one of the main reasons behind Dil Raju buying the complete distribution rights. It is learned that Dil Raju is coming up with a unique strategy in selling the distributing rights after seeing the fierce competition to grab the rights for each specific region.

Dil Raju himself will be distributing the film in Nizam area. He would be selling the rights for each specific region rather than giving to a single holder for multiple regions. The film is expected to release in February 2018. With Dil Raju into the action, the film’s craze has been on the uptrend.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Agnathavasi’ film hasn’t completed it shooting. Everyone expected that the film’s shooting has come to an end after its last schedule was completed in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

It was initially heard that the film’s shooting will be completed by October 2017. Later, the production team officially announced that the shooting will be completed by November. And now, it is understood that the shooting will continue even for the next 10 days.aganathavasi

The Indian-Hindu community leaders approached the administration of Texas A&M University to include 19 Hindu festivals in its Multi-Faith Calendar. ‘The university drafted a multi-faith calendar so as to avoid any important meetings or conferences during those days.

‘This not only helps the staff who hail from different communities to work on a common date, but also ensures that the students are not deprived of any privileges because of absence during the festive days,’ said Rajan Zed.

The proposed list of 19 Hindu festivals is; Diwali, Holi, Maha Shivaratri, Sri Krishna Janmashtami, Sri Rama Navami, Ganesh Chaturthi, Hanuman Jayanthi, Navarathri, Dusshera, Onam, Pongal, Chandramana Ugadi, Raksha Bandhan, Guru Purnima, Souramana Ugadi, Makara Sankranti, Vasant Panchami, Govardhan Puja and Naga Panchami.

The appeal includes the permission for students to be absent on these festive days and the inclusion of the list in the multi-faith calendar.

Rajan Zed expressed that, ‘Hinduism is rich in culture and heritage. We celebrate many festivals throughout the year. We believe that it is our duty and responsibility to ensure our Hindus get the privilege of celebrating our festivals wherever we are on this earth.’

The Texas A&M University is a public university, and it is founded in 1876. The university is home to 68,603 students who are studying in over 400 disciplines in the 5,200-acre campus.

After witnessing the rise in onion and tomato prices, the common man was forced to cry even without cutting an onion. The vegetable is one of the most common ingredients in every day’s food. The price of per kilogram of onion and tomato usually trades between Rs 25 – Rs 35 depending on the retailer’s store and the region. In the recent times, these prices touched Rs 70 and at times Rs 80 in the retail market.

The trade unions expressed that unseasonal rains and dry spells in the country damaged a large part of the crop which led to the widening of the gap between demand and supply. ‘The new crop of tomato and onion is currently sowed. Onion plantation has been going good in Maharashtra, the leading producer. We would get the yield in a couple of weeks, and the crop will reach the markets after 3-4 days. The prices will come down in the coming 15-20 days,’ said a farmer.

Various state governments have been working on the price-rise situation, and have stated that it is a ‘temporary’ problem and the situation will be back to normal pretty soon.

A Tamil film is all set to release after 7 years since its date of completion. The film titled ‘Kalavadiya Pozhuthugal’ featuring Prabhu Deva and Bhumika Chawla in lead roles is slated to release in this month. Though the film has completed its shooting and post-production work in the year 2010, the film’s producer has not been able to release the film due to some reasons.

Speaking at a press meet, the producer of the film Karunakaran stated that, ‘I know it’s been a long while since we started the film. We were not able to release on time. The film will be released in this month.’

‘After I narrated the film’s story to Prabhu Deva sir, he immediately gave his nod and signed the contract papers to work on the film with us. I am sure that the film would be a treat for all kinds of audience and for all ages,’ said the film’s director Thangar Bachchan.

Prabhu Devi is currently directing Salman Khan starrer ‘Dabangg 3’ in Bollywood. He is also acting in few Tamil films as a character artist and even hero.

Pawan Kalyan’s starrer ‘Agnathavasi’ is taking the Telugu Film Industry by storm. After setting a record for the highest satellite rights in Telugu, the film has recently broken the records of Baahubali and Dhangal. ‘Agnathavasi’ would be released in the most number of overseas location any other Indian film in the past.

Baahubali was released in 126 locations, Khaidi No.150 in 74 locations, Kabali in 73 locations and Dhangal in 69 overseas locations. If the reports are true, the makers of Agnathavasi have struck a deal to release the film in 209 overseas locations. This would be the highest for any film in the history of Indian Cinema.

The film has already generated a pre-release business of Rs 120 crores. The makers will soon launch an innovative marketing technique for the film. The film is being produced by N Radhakrishna on Harika and Hassine Creations. Trivikram is directing the movie. Keerthi Suresh and Anu Immanuel will be playing opposite Pawan Kalyan in the film. Pawan Kalyan would be seen as an IT Employee in the film. The film is slated to release on January 10th 2018.

Among the Telugu directors, Koratala Siva truly deserves a special mention. The director is going on a high with a hit after hit, that too with star heroes. But it looks like the director is too bored of the hits, and is willing to flop his own cinema, ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ starring Mahesh Babu.

Everyone knows how good a flop was Mahesh Babu’s previous film ‘Spyder’. The film failed miserably at the box office. An interesting aspect has come out. Initially, the film was titled as ‘Agent Siva’. At the last minute, the director and hero have agreed up the title ‘Spyder’. Many film critics and trade analysts expressed that the film would have been ‘safe’ if the title was continued as Agent Siva. ‘The audience might have some different expectations on the film and the way they perceive the film if it was titled Agent Siva,’ said a trade analyst.

On the same lines, the title ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ also became famous. With the title becoming so famous, it is learned that Koratala Siva is trying to change the title and state that ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’ was just a working title. Even after knowing the impact the change in the film’s title might have on the film, Koratala Siva is all busy preparing for his first flop.

Peter Haines is undoubtedly one of the best stunt choreographers in the Indian film industry. He worked in all major film industries in the nation. Peter Haines who is currently composing fights for a couple of films in Bellwood attended the Indywood Film Carnival in Hyderabad.

Speaking on the occasion, the stunt choreographer has shared some interesting and exciting aspects of his life. ‘I did not go to school as a child. I did not even complete my 10th grade. Though my father did not give me school education, he taught me martial arts. It is because of the martial arts I was able to settle in my life,’ said Haines.

He further went on to say, ‘I call director Trivikram as daddy. If my father had taught me martial arts, it was Trivikram who has taught me what cinema is. He is the one who actually explained me about fight sequences and the need to compose them. I consider him as my father in that regard.’

Peter Haines has worked mostly for SS Rajamouli in Tollywood. ‘Rajamouli is a great director. Though I’m currently busy with a couple of movies, I will definitely work if I get a call from Rajamouli or Trivikram. I really like them a lot and I have high regards for both the directors,’ concluded Peter Haines.

Legendary Hindi actor, Shashi Kapoor died at the age of 79 due to prolonged illness. He has primarily worked in Hindi cinema as an actor. He produced and directed few films. He is known as one of the most charming and enigmatic actor ever in the history of Hindi cinema. The legendary actor was born on March 18th, 1938, in Calcutta (now Kolkata), Bengal Presidency. Along with Hindi films, he has acted in many English films even towards the end of the 20th century.

He is survived by his three children Kunal Kapoor, Karan Kapoor and Sanjana Kapoor. He got married to Jennifer Kendal in 1958, who passed away in 1984. She is an English actress, who spent much of her youth in India.

Actor Randhir Kapoor, Shashi Kapoor’s nephew stated that ‘he was on dialysis for several years. He has been suffering from a kidney problem. He passed away today evening.’ The Kokilaben Hospital (in Mumbai) authorities have confirmed that Shashi Kapoor passed away at 5:20 pm today evening.

Shashi Kapoor made a rare appearance two years ago at an event. He was awarded the ‘Dadasaheb Phalke Award’.

He is well known Sharmilee, NamakHalaal and PyarKiyeJaa. PM Modi and other well-known individuals from Bollywood, Politics and society have expressed their deep condolences.
