Sai Pallavi’s first flop in Telugu!

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

Sai Pallavi became the heartthrob of Telugu audience with her film ‘Fida’. She acted alongside Varun Tej in the film. The film went on to become a blockbuster. Post the success with her debut film, the heroine was flooded offers. Many star-heroes expressed their interested to act with the actress. But she has chosen her films very cautiously. Sai Pallavi has recently completed her shooting for ‘MCA – Middle-Class Abbayi’ starring Nani. She has recently signed for another project with Sarvanand.

Sai Pallavi’s ‘Hey Pillagada’ released in theatres today. The film is a dubbed version of her Malayalam super hit film ‘Kaali’. Dulquer Salmaan (son of actor Mammootty) played the male lead in the film. Sai Pallavi failed to impress the Telugu audience in her dubbed movie.

This can be considered as Sai Pallavi’s first flop in Telugu. It is also heard that Sai Pallavi requested not to release the film, knowing the mindset of the Telugu audience. But the producer went ahead and released the movie after purchasing the dubbing rights for a huge amount.

Sai Pallavi has distanced herself from promoting the film ‘Hey Pillagada’. It looks like ‘MCA’ starring Nani and Sai Pallavi would mark another hit for the heroine.
