The Youth Icon of Telugu film industry ‘Vijay Devarakonda’ bags the Gold medal and stands as ‘The South Indian Sensation’. Recently, in Chennai Behindwoods tv has given awards and they give gold medals to winners differently. So, Vijay Devarakonda won ‘The South Indian Sensation’ award and the gold medal was given by our rocking music director Devi Sri Prasad. Although, Vijay did a ramp walk after medal received.
He said “I am feeling extremely happy to be here in Chennai, in front of all of you. I am proud to receive this award and thank you Behindwoods for this appreciation. I will definitely try and live up to the expectations. My first film rolling in Tamil film is titled Nota is a step forward to living up to that expectation. Thank you all for being very supportive of my Telugu films. It’s lovely to be sure and I hope you guys continue showering me with love.” And again he said, “I’ll take this medal next year also, I like this medal.”
Although S.S.Rajamouli received ‘The Visionary of Indian Cinema’ award, Anushka received ‘Best Actress’ award for Baahubali2, Ramaya Krishna received ‘Best Supporting Actress’ for Baahubali2, Rama Rajamouli and Prashanthi Tiperneni received ‘Best Costume Designer’ award for Baahubali2, and Nayanthara received ‘The Golden Lady of South Indian Boxoffice’ award. Its great to see, our hero crossing state boundaries and make an impact of him in other states also.
