The most anticipated biopic in the history of Telugu cinema, ‘NTR’ is offically underway. The program took place in the presence of prominent politicians like Vice President Venkaiah Naidu, Congress MP Subba Rami Reddy, BJP MLA Kamineni Srinivas, Telangana Minister Talasani Srinivas and others. It also saw film personalities like ‘Darsakendra’ Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao, Hero Rajasekhar, MM Keeravani, Jeeva, and others.

Along with them, the locals of the villages where NT Rama Rao’s, and Basavatarakam were born, have been specially invited. Nandamuri Balakrishna is reprising NTR in the role of ‘Duryodhana’ during the movie’s launch. Kota Srinivas Rao is playing the role of ‘Dritharashtra’. According to the production unit, Balakrishna will be sporting 63 different attires in the movie, and Duryodhana is just one of them.

Director Teja is helming the movie, while MM Keeravani is the music director. Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati, and Vishnu Vardhan Induri are bankrolling the project. The film’s shooting has begun in Ramakrishna Cine Studios, Nacharam in Hyderabad. The entire film fraternity has been eagerly waiting for this moment. NTR biopic shooting will be finishing toward the end of this year. The movie is likely to release for 2019 Sankranti.

Mass director VV Vinayak had a disaster outing with his previous film ‘Intelligent’. The movie starring Sai Dharam Tej, and Lavanya Tripathi bombed at the box office. The film was trolled for its run-of-the-mill storyline, and lack of creativity. After ‘Khaidi No.150’, ‘Intelligent’ is the only film VV Vinayak has taken up.

At that time it was also heard that VV Vinayak paid back Rs 5 crores from his remuneration to the producer. Despite the payback, the movie’s producer still incurred huge losses. Cutting to the present, the producer is once again making a daring movie. Producer C Kalyan has reportedly purchased the rights of super hit Kannada film ‘Mufti’. Initially, KS Ravi Kumar, who gave a decent hit with ‘Jai Simha’ was roped as the director.

But the latest buzz is that C Kalyan managed to convince VV Vinayak for the upcoming project. Balakrishna will be seen playing the role of Gangster in the movie. In Kannada, star hero Shiva Rajkumar played the lead role. The movie is going to neo-noir (dark themed) movie.Meanwhile, Nandamuri fans are greatly disappointed with VV Vinayak being the director for Balakrishna’s next.

His son, actor-cum-politician TDP MP Nandamuri Balakrishna became the center of attraction after he announced a biopic on NTR. The film is titled after the abbreviation of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao as ‘NTR’. The concept poster of the film has been released recently and is taking everyone by shock.

Director Teja, who is often lauded for his creativity once again managed to strike the right string. Since the last one month, the political atmosphere in Andhra Pradesh has been changing quite dynamically. Tollywood felt the political heat, with TDP MLC Babu Rajendra Prasad criticizing film celebrities with respect to the AP SCS protests. The political scenario has even left Mahesh Babu and Bharat Ane Nenu Team in dilemma.

The movie’s pre-release event was initially planned in Vishakhapatnam. Reports also surfaced that a special ‘Assembly Set’ would be erected for the event. But later, due to some unknown reasons, the pre-release event location shifted to Vijayawada.

The production team wanted to organize the event in the same premises where Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan organized the ‘Janasena Formation Day’ meeting. Given the volatile situations in AP Politics, Bharat Ane Nenu production team decided to shift the location to Hyderabad.

‘Mahesh Babu discussed organizing the pre-release event in Vijayawada with his brother-in-law, TDP MP Galla Jayadev.  The later also advised them to change the location. The pre-release event will take place in Hyderabad. The venue is yet to be confirmed’, said a close source to the production unit.
