In recent times, producers have taken a backseat. It is the lead pair and the director who is seen actively participating in the film promotion. It looks quite opposite to the movie Awe. Natural Star Nani is producing the film, with Prashant Varma helming it. The movie already released to positive reviews from both overseers and in the Telugu states.

In this context, Nani’s special request to all the moviegoers, film critics and other film lovers, became viral. The hero-cum-producer asked the aforementioned not to leak the story. ‘You can give your viewpoint. You can suggest whether to watch the film or not to your beloved ones. Go ahead and tell whether you liked the film or not. But don’t reveal the story. It takes away the excitement and fun while other watch it. I’m wholeheartedly requesting you not to reveal the story. This is the first time we are coming up with a story like this. I believe that everyone who is waiting for a new kind of film in Telugu Film Industry will definitely like Awe! Thank you,’ said Nani.

The movie stars Kajal Agarwal, Nithya Menen, Regina Cassandra, Eesha Rebba, Avasarala Srinivas, Murali Sharma, Priyadarshi, Nani (as fish, voiceover), and Ravi Teja (as Tree, voiceover).

Nandamuri Balakrishna is known for his vivid makeovers on the silver screen. Be it mythological, historical or freedom fighters characters, Balakrishna nailed them all. The hero is currently busy with the pre-production work of his upcoming film, ‘NTR’ which is a biopic of the legendary NTR. Close sources to the production unit have confirmed that Balakrishna will be sporting 62 avatars in the movie.

Yes, you read it right. He would literally sport 62 avatars in the upcoming film. In an age where star heroes are struggling to show the difference between two films, forget about sports dual characters with variation, Balakrishna really stands out. Even in the past, Balakrishna did sport multiple characters in a single film.

Even in the past, Kamal Hassan came up with 10 different avatars for his film Dasavataram. But sporting 62 avatars in a single movie that too in a biopic of NTR is surely a daredevil stunt from the Nandamuri Hero. Director Teja is currently working Hollywood stylists on the various looks and getups of the stated characters.

The film’s regular shooting will commence from May 2018. The movie is likely to release for 2019 Sankranti.

Natural Star Nani, is presently busy promoting his upcoming film ‘AWE’, in which he not only gave his voice over for a fish but also been the main pillar of the film, the producer. Even though he is at his peaks as an actor with eight consecutive hits, he still took the plunge by risking to do a non-commercial and different film like ‘AWE’. The film is slated to release tomorrow, i.e. on February 16th.

During one of the promotional events of his debut production venture, ‘AWE’, he was asked in which film he desires to remake. He was quick to say, ‘Chantabbai’, indicating he didn’t say just for the sake of it, but is seriously planning and this subject is in his mind for a very long time.

The film, ‘Chantabbai’ an offbeat classic film has released in the year 1986. It was not only a classic movie in Chiru’s best career, but also in the Telugu film history. The film is the great outcome from the legendary writer-director Jandhyala. The director has exploited the flawless comedy timing of Megastar, who had been doing only actions films at that time of his career.

One would only wish Nani all the best and encourage him to proceed with the remake as he would be an ideal choice for the detective role which Chiru has essayed.

‘Natural Star’ Nani is taking the Telugu audience for a ride. After being criticized for his stereotype love stories and family dramas, the hero-turned-producer surprised everyone by turning into a fish. Nani is producing the movie ‘Awe’, with Prashant Varma debuting as director.

In an interview to a daily tabloid, Nani shared someone exciting things during the making of the film. Talking about Ravi Teja’s voiceover, Nani had to say a lot more.

‘On hearing the story, Ravi Tej liked it very much. In fact, he came forward to produce the film if required. Ravi Teja is someone whom I have known a lot since my journey as an actor. He used to call me on the first day of my film’s release and used to encourage me a lot. Ravi Teja giving voiceover to my film, that too in my production, is a privilege to me.

Though we the characters; the plant and the fish are talking, I felt it really uncomfortable asking him to ‘SHUT UP’. Not one time, but many times in the movie. What’s more shocking is that Ravi Teja completed his dubbing his just 15mins,’ said Nani.

Among the new bunch of Mega heroes (with Kalyan Tej and Vaishnav Tej still to come in), Varun Tej is currently leading the race. Though Sai Dharam Tej went ahead racing, with 3 movies faring well at the box office, he started to trail since the past couple of years. His last three films ended as failures at the box office, in which, two of them ended as ultimate disasters.

Meanwhile, another Mega hero Varun Tej, who was on the back foot initially, came back to form with a blockbuster like Fidaa. His recent film, Tholiprema is already declared as a hit, and might well attain the status of a super hit in the coming few days.

Natural Star Nani is making his debut into the production with the experimental film Awe.

This film has garnered the acclaim of the audience with an intriguing teaser and trailer. Touted to be a thriller, this film has Kajal, Nithya Menon, Regina Cassandra, Priyadarshi, Srini Avasarala, Eesha Rebba in the lead roles. Nani has given his voice over to a fish and Ravi Teja to Bonsai plant in the film.

The entire unit has intensified the promotions as the film is inching closer to the release date. As a part of the promotions, Kajal has disclosed some interesting facts about Nani as a producer. She openly declared that Nani is one of the best and cool producers she has worked with. Though she hasn’t done a film with Nani, she went on to mention that she and Nani have a similar mindset and she came to know that on the sets of Awe. She also stated that Nani’s guts have to appreciate for backing up such an experimental film as his debut in the production.

Nani too responding to her comments stated that it’s indeed true and though they haven’t shared the screen ever before, they seem to have a similar mindset. In fact, Nani also revealed that when he met Kajal on the first day, she has allocated 5 days of her call sheets to this film.

Nithya Menen, Regina Cassandra, and Eesha Rebba have also participated in the interview. Prasanth Varma is making his debut as a director with this film and Nani is bankrolling this project under the banner Wall Poster Cinema.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ has turned out to be the biggest disaster in Pawan Kalyan’s, and as well as Trivikram career. After doing a pre-release business close to Rs 150 crores, the film failed to even collect half the amount during its theatrical run. Meanwhile, the producer, S Radhakrishna is in safe hands, as he signed a non-recovery agreement with the buyers.

Understanding that trust and goodwill are most important to establish as a star producer, S Radhakrishna came forward to partially refund the money for the buyers. Even Trivikram gave a good chunk of his remuneration.

Reportedly, a US buyer who bought Agnyaathavaasi for Rs 10 crores, was offered Rs 1-2 crores by the producer. The buyer is facing losses to the tune of Rs 5-6 crores, despite the compensation. It is heard that the buyer is continuously persuading director Trivikram and producer S Radhakrishna to help him get a Janasena Party ticket to contest in the upcoming 2019 Assembly elections. Though these still rumours, there is every reason for them to be true.

With Janasena projected to win at least 15 seats, and the lack of competition for the party’s ticket, the buyer might have a good chance of contesting on behalf of Janasena in the upcoming elections. One has to wait and see whether Pawan Kalyan, who speaks about his uprightness, will succumb to Trivikram’s and Radhakrishna’s pressure over this.
