Charan-Boyapati’s Movie Update

As we all know, mega power star Ram Charan is teaming up with commercial mass director Boyapati Srinu for his forthcoming flick.

We have given a recent update a while back about the completion of the first schedule of this film which has commenced for almost 10 days. Some crucial and emotional scenes seem to have canned during the first schedule. A new update regarding the second schedule of the film has come out and it is known that the shoot will commence from February 13th. Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi who is known for his impeccable performance in RGV’s ‘Rakta Charitra’ is playing the lead antagonist in this film. The intense scenes on the lead antagonist seem to be canned from February 13th and the lead Ram Charan will reportedly join the sets from February 25th.

Boyapati Srinu who is best known as the commercial mass director is going to showcase Ram Charan in a completely new avatar. The combo of Charan and Boyapati has increased much more hype on the film. The B-town actress Kiara Advani plays the female lead and DSP scores the music. D.V.V Danayya is bankrolling this project.

Ram Gopal Varma created a sensation with his film ‘God, Sex and Truth’. The movie released exclusively on the web. Despite protests from various women organizations and social activists, RGV went ahead and released the film on January 26^th, 2017. But due to a sudden outage of the website servers, the film released on January 27^th, 2017.

Though many labelled the film as a ‘carcass’, other did appreciate the film. Meanwhile, Ram Gopal Varma claimed that GST has been a path-breaking a film, and is being widely appreciated. The Mia Malkova starrer deals with sexual freedom and hypocrisy in the society.

RGV has been constantly feeding his twitter army with updates about the public’s response on GST. There were a couple of women who came forward and extended their support for the film. Many people did appreciate the film for its intensity and the thin subject it deals with; sexual freedom.

What’s more? After the tremendous success of ‘God, Sex and Truth’, Ram Gopal Varma announced that he will be starting GST2 very soon. In fact, he tweeted, ‘May God Be with Me and GST Lovers’.

To watch ‘God, Sex and Truth’, one needs to pay an access fee of Rs. 150 (if you are from India).

Kathi Mahesh, a film critic (self-claimed), became popular after attacking Pawan Kalyan on electronic and social media. Soon, the film critic transformed into a political analyst, and further continued his attack on Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena party. Kathi Mahesh comments on Baahubali further made him the hot topic of T-Town.

During a web interview, Kathi Mahesh claimed that he could come up with a better story, and a better film than Baahubali. ‘If someone can come up with Rs. 150 crores as budget, I can direct a better film, with a better story than Baahubali. I don’t understand why it was awarded a national award. People calling it as ‘pride of Telugu people’ really shocked me’, said Kathi Mahesh in his interview.

The film critic recently made some comments on Balakrishna too. He later took the second stance, after Nandamuri fans came hard at him on social media. Nevertheless, after becoming a feed for electronic media, Kathi Mahesh turns to web media to promote and popularize himself more than ever.

He further lashed out at ‘Jabardasth’ comedy show. Kathi Mahesh questioned the impact of Jabardasth on the public.

Previously, anchoring meant a special art. It demanded conversational skills, charm and sense of humour. In recent times, anchoring is largely limited to skin show. Be it Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rashmi Gautam or Sreemukhi, the three anchors have redefined the meaning of anchoring on the small screen. Frankly, it all started with Anasuya with the Jabardasth show.

Anchors to Skin-show mavens!

Anasuya became the first anchor to showcase glamour even on a TV show. Soon, the show became unwatchable for children. Anasuya’s skin show and double meaning dialogues by contestants became the only promotional content for the comedy show.

Soon, Rashmi Gautam took over the show as an anchor, after Anasuya left the show citing personal reasons. Surprisingly, there was no gap between the demand and supply of glamour. Rashmi Gautam too did her best and was seen mostly in a skin-show friendly attire throughout many episodes. Things did go overboard at times. Searches for Rashmi Gautam and Anasuya mostly point out towards their dressing sense in the Jabardasth show.

Another top anchor currently trending is Sreemukhi. Though she did in a couple of movies, she did not get much recognition. She got all that she wanted from the small screen, if not from the silver screen. Sreemukhi has been labelled as a glamour girl, someone who doesn’t shy to reveal what she has in store. Likewise, rumours about her relationship with co-anchor Ravi only propelled her fan following in the public, especially among youth.

It is true that Rashmi Gautam is slightly lagging behind Anasuya and Sreemukhi as far as social networking sites are concerned. Rashmi Gautam has 3,32,000+ followers, while Anasuya Bharadwaj has 5,86,000+ followers on Twitter. Sreemukhi leads the race with 6,37,000+ followers. The biggest advantage Rashmi Gautam has over her contemporaries is that she has acted in more feature films than the both combined. This not only propels her film career but also makes her presence in the films more prominent.

Anasuya is able to grab some good offers in star movies like ‘Rangasthalam’ lately. But it is highly unlikely for the anchor-turned-actress to play the lead female role in a full-length feature film any time around. Though she claims to be 32-33 years old, film circles often look her as 35+ woman! It shouldn’t be surprising if Anasuya is limited to glamour roles and character roles in feature films.

Similarly, Sreemukhi’s future on silver screen looks bleak. She did manage to star in 5 Telugu movies in 2016. But since then, she has been desperately trying to be the lead actress. Her last film as a lead actress was in 2013 with ‘Prema Ishq Kaadhal’. The famous saying, ‘to make something special, it should be less visible’, clearly comes true in Sreemukhi’s case. The anchor believes that she is promoting herself by posing for back-to-back photo sessions. Little did she know, the more visible she is on the small screen, less is her chances to be a part of feature films. Given her extreme presence on social media, she isn’t anymore considered as a fresh face!

Sreemukhi on Small Screen, and Rashmi on Silver Screen!

Among these three; Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rashmi Gautam and Sreemukhi, Anasuya will fall behind in the race in the coming few years. There is no way for her to be the lead actress. Moreover, she has been offered roles that demand glamour quotient, than her acting. Frankly, she is only popular for her glamour in movies, besides her ‘glamour’ popularity on TV.

Sreemukhi’s fan following, and her presence on social networking sites, clearly hint her as the leading one on TV. Rashmi Gautam’s presence can be taken lightly, given the dominance of Sreemukhi and Anasuya.

Rashmi Gautam outclasses both Sreemukhi and Anasuya when it comes films. Even Rashmi Gautham is famous for her glamour and skin-show. But the actress did manage to grab some good offers in recent times. She can be the second fiddle to the heroines in movies.

Conclusion: From the times of Jhansi, Udayabhanu, and Suma, things have moved on to Anasuya, Sreemukhi and Rashmi Gautam. The first three were known for their anchoring skills, their ability to enthrall the audience and for their sense of humor. Likewise, the latter three are known for their skin-show, double meaning dialogues and over-the-board controversies!

Initially, Sai Pallavi was roped in to play the female lead in opposite Chiyaan Vikram in the movie Sketch. She later was replaced with Tamannaah. The film unit did not reveal anything initially about the reasons for replacing the female lead. It is speculated in the Kollywood industry that Tamannaah suited better in the assigned role than Sai Pallavi.

The sketch is all ready for its Telugu release. Vikram is promoting the film in the Telugu states. IN a recent interview, he was asked the reason for replacing Sai Pallavi with Tamannaah. He acted more professional in answering and did not show any interest in disclosing the reason. He said, ‘Tamannaah is the perfect choice for the role of the Brahmin girl in the film. The audience will fall in love with her role. Sai Pallavi was replaced due to several other reasons’, he concluded.

Vikram’s statements did not go down well with Sai Pallavi’s fans. Hero Vikram saw a backlash from a certain section of social media, or better say Sai Pallavi fans. Sai Pallavi might be having a huge fan base, given her recent hits. But her behaviour off-the-screen matters a lot. ‘Sketch’ released hit the Tamil silver screens during Pongal and emerged as a decent box-office grosser.

Firstly, it came as big shocker to people that while doing a film with Nagarjuna, RGV could do GST, and later it stunned the same people when they came to know that GST’s music was composed by music maestro MM Keeravani who is very traditional. The maverick director has been publicizing his adult film ‘God, Sex and Truth’ starring pornstar Mia Malkova in a unique manner. Instead of discussing the film, the director called for sexual liberation in a woman. This gave rise to heated debates, disputes and never-ending discussions, that gave GST the required hype.

As the movie’s release date neared, people were excited and thrilled. Just a couple of days before the release, Ram Gopal Varma shocked everyone, by putting a price on his film. One needs to pay Rs. 150 to watch the film on online. Many enthusiasts did back-off, while others, expecting a spectacle, went ahead and watched the film.

They were utterly shocked upon watching the short film starring the pornstar Mia Malkova. Many viewers termed it as an interview of Mia Malkova, in a nude attire. ‘There is absolutely nothing in the film. Mia Malkova just gave a ‘nude’ interview. If RGV still believes he is creative, and path-breaking, he is the biggest fool’, said a viewer who paid Rs. 150 to watch the short film.

Ignoring his cameo presence in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi NO.150, Ram Charan is nowhere seen in 2017. Not even one film of the Mega Power star released in 2017. After a roaring hit with Dhruva, the actor has gone calm. Reportedly, Ram Charan has been putting all his efforts in the Sukumar’s directorial ‘Rangasthalam’. The film’s teaser is an example of Ram Charan’s acting, looks and the amount of hard work he has put-in for the role of Chitti Babu.

Simultaneously, the actor gave his node for Boyapati Srinu’s directorial. The film completed its Pooja ceremonies and other formalities. Going by the reports, the Ram Charan – Boyapati Srinu movie finished its first schedule without much media attention and coverage. Kiara Advani is starring opposite to Ram Charan in this movie.

Everyone assumed that Ram Charan would resume after wrapping up Rangasthalam with Sukumar. Instead, the actor took a break from Rangasthalam and worked on Boyapati’s film. It is still unknown why Ram Charan took that decision. One song and few key scenes are still pending in Rangasthalam. Ram Charan’s decision to go ahead with Boyapati’s film, taking a break from Rangasthalam clearly left his fans in dilemma. Maybe, there might have been a delay either from the director, or the lead actress, Samantha.

Trivikram working hard for his next with Tarak

The director Trivikram has completely moved out of Agnyathavasi debacle and started concentrating on his next. He is determined to score a hit with Tarak at any cost.

Trivikram created a huge sensation by announcing his next with Young Tiger NTR Jr. For this flick, he has opted an out and out drama bearing more screen time for entertainment. NTR who is one of the best performers in the Telugu film industry is undoubtedly the one among the very few who can portray any kind of role under the sun. Thus he has prepared a script which is rich with commercial elements and humour. Sources close to this top writer’s camp revealed that the script work has begun already and is nearing its end. On the other end, the production team has set its start date in the first week of March.

As the previous venture Agnyathavasi bombed miserably, Trivikram is reworking on particular scenes to make sure it doesn’t go wrong this time. Also, his good friend cum producer Radha Krishna has promised buyers of PSPK25 to compensate theirs loses with this flick. All in all the entire team of this project is working hard to make this flick a blockbuster. Meanwhile, the hero NTR Jr is concentrating on toning his body and style. He is going to look for a brand new avatar. The regular shoot will get commenced from 10th March without a break.

This movie is bankrolled by Radha Krishna under Haarika and Hassine creations. Anu Emmanuel was roped as one of the two actresses. Anirudh Ravichander is going to score music for this flick. More details of this movie will be revealed soon.
