Congress Rajya Sabha MP Jairam Ramesh made sensational comments on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. ‘We (Congress party) have proofs that Chandrababu Naidu took bribes in the Polavaram project works. He has taken bribes in overseas, and we have each and every proof to support our claims. Both the TDP and BJP have failed miserably in implementing the promises made during AP Bifurcation’, said the MP.

With respect to the promises and commitments made as a part of the AP bifurcation bill, both the PM and AP CM are playing dramas. In its four years of governance, the state is purely limited to foundation stone ceremonies. If BJP is claiming that the bifurcation of AP did not happen on scientific terms, then why can’t BJP bring a change in the law? It has the majority to even pass the bill in the parliament. The Congress party will also support this.

Once Rahul Gandhi becomes the Prime Minister, the Congress will fulfil all the commitments promised to the residual state of Andhra Pradesh, said the Congress MP Jairam Ramesh.

The reputed organization Reliance group which belongs to the big brother Mukesh Ambani is sending positive feelers to have a mutual benefiting contract with AP government. Its recent course of action explains it all.

Going into the details, the Reliance communications group Jio of Mukesh Ambani is trying to expand its services from wireless to wired as well. In order to conquer internet cable services in South India, it is showing interest in AP for its offers and infrastructure. The CM of AP Chandrababu Naidu known for his tech knowledge along with his son Nara Lokesh who is the IT Minister of AP has invited delegates of Reliance communications group.

Mukesh has sent his representatives to AP and highly impressed with Real-Time Governance and implementation of technology in the sun rising state. The recent scam in the Punjab National Bank (PNB) shocked everyone in the nation. Many people might have thought that the issue is solely limited to the PNB itself. The recent publications from RBI give a much larger picture, which could literally shake the ground below you.

According to the RBI, 8760 cases of fraud, related to the banking have been registered in the last 5 years. The total value involved in these cases is Rs 61,200 crores. The ‘Reuters’ obtained the above from the RBI using the Right to Information Act.

Janasena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan recently has asked to submit the list of funds allocated and its utilization for Joint Fact-Finding Committee (JFC).  But the state government had washed off its hands by saying that it is the responsibility of the center to do the job and not in the interest of the state. While, the AP, BJP leaders had brushed the topic aside and questioned Pawan Kalyan’s authenticity in asking for the fund’s list towards the state.

The first meeting of JFC already gained enough prominence, and the banter comment ‘Pawan Manode’ made by CBN has sent wrong indications. During the co-ordination committee meeting, TDP head made it clear that he doesn’t find anything wrong about Pawan Kalyan’s JFC. But he said he is concerned with the invitations sent to Congress party which is responsible for bifurcation.

Apparently, Pawan Kalyan retaliated strongly to the objections raised by the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. He said the JFC had sent invitations to all that includes congress only to know their opinion and not to hug them. For that matter, even TDP and YCP were invited but they are reluctant. Pawan Kalyan also shared, that he is doing what he could, keeping the best interest of the state. JFC is trying to bring all intellectuals to one platform. Just like the state governments response, even center asked JFC to go and check the figures on the website.

The TDP Supreme CBN has joined hands with Pawan Kalyan during the election campaign in 2014. Since then, he used to treat Pawan as a close friend with higher respect. Supreme Court came down lashing at the Madhya Pradesh (MP) Government on Thursday. The apex court was upset on the way the MP government is handling the rape victims. It questioned, ‘You are just paying Rs 6500 for the rape victims. How fair is it? Are you running a charity house?’ said the apex court.

It has to be noted that, Madhya Pradesh is receiving the highest funds than any other state, under the Nirbhaya Fund. But shocking the MP government is only paying Rs 6000 to Rs 6500 for the rape victims. This drew the attention of the Supreme Court on the MP Govt. The bench comprising of Madhan B Lokur, Deepak Gupta differed with the affidavit filed by the MP Govt. in this context.

Reacting on this, the bend said, ‘there are 1951 rape cases registered in the MP alone. And how can you decide a compensation of Rs 6500 for each of the rape victim? Shockingly, how did you calculate that each rape draws a compensation of Rs 6500? This is absolutely ridiculous and irrational.

The Madhya Pradesh Govt. filed the affidavit, after the Supreme Court asked all the States and UTs to file affidavits regarding the Nirbhaya Nodal Funds that they received.

After the TDP carried the protests outside the parliament under Chandrababu’s able guidance, everyone thought that the Centre would succumb. But shockingly, the Centre’s recent move is giving Chandrababu nightmares. Prominent Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham became the centre of attraction, thanks to the Kapu Reservation Movement, which he led from the front. In order to counterattack Mudragada, who has been rising among other politicians, Chandrababu agreed to sanction 5% exclusive reservations to the Kapu community, joining them under the BC Category.

This move was greatly welcomed, and in fact, did affect the YSRCP. Looking at the pro-Kapu statements coming from Chandrababu, many Kapu leaders from YSRCP are making plans to leave the party when required. Surprisingly, most of them from the Kapu community forgot Mudragada and hailed Chandrababu for his decision. In this way, Chandrababu did counter both Mudragada and YSRCP.

Now, it is the turn of Centre. Given the protest over Center by the TDP, the Centre played its master card. It rejected the ‘Kapu Bill’ put forth by the AP Assembly. The Centre said, ‘according to the Supreme Court’s directives, the reservation cap for AP is already 50%. We cannot further increase it to accommodate the new proposal from the AP Govt.’

This marks the end of Chandrababu’s dream to woo the Kapu community and bank on their votes.

Meanwhile, TDP MLA Adinarayana Reddy stated that TDP MPs will resign on March 5th if the Center doesn’t fulfil its commitments towards Andhra Pradesh. He further criticized YS Jagan stating that ‘Jagan is a better businessman than a politician’.

At the time when the whole world is going mad over Cryptocurrency, the Indian government remained silent. RBI came forward and issued a statement that Indian financial system does not recognize or trade Cryptocurrency. Despite such strong statements, few brokerage companies and traders have been trading Cryptocurrency with international companies and personnel. Many new companies under the tags; Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency, Indian Bitcoin, and others came up.

The latest buzz is that the RBI is looking for the possibility of issuing a ‘government-backed cryptocurrency’, a first in the world. This new type of currency is tentatively known as ‘Lakshmi’ in the government circles. Though the government is against the cryptocurrency, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said, the government might use the ‘blockchain’ technology for other purposes. 

There have been instances where bitcoins, worth over Rs 5000+ crores has vanished, thanks to the hackers. Consequently, the Indian government is trying to formulate a law which will nullify all the cryptocurrency transactions, investments, and other forms within the geographical limits of Republic of India constitution. Cryptocurrency is also turning out to be a haven for anti-social groups, and for tax-evaders.

Rs 11,334 Crores Fraud detected in Punjab National Bank

Punjab National Bank discovered that a fraud of Rs 11,334 Crores took place in Mumbai PNB branch. In its Stock Exchange filings, the PNB stated it has discovered illegal and fraudulent transactions from the Mumbai branch. It further stated that, few account holders, along with bank officials are a part of the fraud. Subsequently, the fraudulent amount has been transferred to offshore accounts via other banks. The bank has already informed the government agencies regarding the fraud, and the authorities are investigating.

The bank officials are yet to confirm to what extent did the fraudulent transactions impact the bank’s revenue.

Additionally, the CBI confirmed that it received two complaints from the bank, stating that, it found suspicious transactions to the tune of Rs 10,000 crores from famous jewellery designer Nirav Modi and his companies.

In fact, the money involved in the fraud is 8 times that of the net earnings of PNB (Rs 1,324 crores) in 2017. This is the first time in the history of Republic India that a public sector bank like PNB has become a victim of fraudulent transactions.

Self-proclaimed film and political critic, Kathi Mahesh took to Twitter to wish Pawan Kalyan, Jayaprakash Narayana, Chandrababu Naidu, and Narendra Modi Valentine’s Days wishes. Interestingly, he took a dig on the above four, by linking them to each other.

His tweet read, ‘Modi is Chandrababu’s Valentine, Chandrababu is Pawan Kalyan’s Valentine, Jayaprakash Narayana is Pawan Kalyan’s Valentine. Happy Valentine’s Day’.

Hundreds of people liked and re-tweeted the tweet in a short while. In fact, Kathi Mahesh was shot to fame, given his controversial remarks on Pawan Kalyan, at personal, professional and political level.

Post his row with Pawan Kalyan fans, Kathi Mahesh agreed to remain silent. But his tweets doesn’t seem so. His satirical tweet on Pawan Kalyan’s JAC and JFFC in particular, received severe outraged on social media.

It is an open fact that Kathi Mahesh has his own set of followers on social media. Similarly, many who have supported him during his war with Pawan Kalyan fans, are slowly distancing themselves from him.

Many political experts opined that Kathi Mahesh is ‘targeting’ Pawan Kalyan, just to be popular. Only time will tell where Kathi Mahesh would finally land up!

A renowned Bangladeshi author, in a sensational manner, came forward promoting public masturbation took the whole world by storm. Taslima Nasreen, a Bangladeshi author, called Public Masturbation ‘a victim-less crime’.

In a recent event, a middle-aged man was found masturbating while sitting next to a Delhi University Student in a crowded bus. Apparently, he is also made an attempt to molest her. ‘The seat started shaking while I was reading a book on my way to my home in the orange cluster bus. Immediately, I realized that he is masturbating. He even tried to touch my waist with his elbow repeatedly. I recorded the act, before I reacted,’ told the victim.

Now, to everyone’s shock, Taslima Nasreen retorted on the happening. She said ‘A man masturbating in a crowded Delhi bus need not be considered as a big crime in this era of rape culture. Men should masturbate, then rape and murder. Is masturbating in public a crime? Well, it is victim-less crime’.

There are big hue and cry from netizens to the version of the author.  Most of them lectured that the victims won’t have any control over what they are forced to see. They questioned her, ‘Is this acceptable if somebody is sexually pleasuring themselves in front of a woman without her consent?  In fact, these kind of incidents are more dangerous for the safety of children who often pay visits to public places. Can’t a man regulate his sexual desires in public places?
