The tech CM Chandrababu Naidu has made headlines in his own style. He has announced the official first brand ambassador of Andhra Pradesh recently. Let us go into the details.

The TDP National Chief CBN known for his vast experience in politics has made some exciting comments on the state of AP. He claimed that Andhra never had an ambassador in its history as it never needed one. On the same note, he cleverly compared the state of AP to the Sun. CBN didn’t hesitate to declare AP as the rising Sun state of India and with rather a strong tone, he made a shocking announcement. CBN made it official that the Sun is the official and first brand ambassador of Andhra Pradesh.

He said that Sun is worshipped in many big nations like Arab and East Asian countries including India. So he feels proud to make Sun as AP’s ambassador. This tech-savvy statesman claimed that more than 5000-kilowatts of electricity is generated by Solar Power in AP thereby making it as one of the largest Solar power generators in the nation of India. He concluded his speech that Sun is a God who belongs to no one religion in this world.

However, his rivals and political analysts slam the CM regarding the urgent need of announcing and ambassador for AP. They ask CBN to increase the green cover and prove his respect towards Nature rather than delivering speeches on Sun. No wonder if other rival states of AP ridicule babu for this new announcement.

This former T-TDP leader who is known for his debates and speeches has now planned his career in T-Congress. He took some pot shots on Pawan Kalyan regarding his latest visit to TRS Supreme KCR. Revanth dared to question the sincerity of Pawan Kalyan because of his meeting with the Telangana CM. Deepika Padukone’sPadmaavat (or Padmavathi) opened to good reviews. Though the film’s initial release was stalled by controversies and protests, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali showed the character when it was most required. Given the protests across various parts of the nation, Padmaavat (Padmavathi) collected Rs. 17.5 Crores on its first day and Rs. 4.25 crores for premiers.

The number of screens exhibiting the film increased, with the protection from local police, especially in the northern parts of India. After a decent first day, Padmaavat collections jumped to a whopping 32 crores on its second day. The film collected Rs. 32 crores on its second take, taking Padmaavat Collections to Rs. 56 crores in the first two days.

The film saw almost houseful collections with people coming out of their homes and marching towards the theatres. The success story of the film, amid high tensions, and violent protests are an example of bravery and faith in our Indian constituent. It also exposes the backing of political parties to the fringe groups.

Trade experts and film analysts hoped that Tollywood’s New Year would start with a bang. Given the line-up of films; Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi, Balakrishna’s Jai Simha and Anushka’s Bhaagamathie, everything expected January 2018 to be memorable like January 2017. Last year, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No. 150 and Balakrishna’s Gautamiputra gave Tollywood the best start in along time.

This year, things have been completely on the flipside. Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi remained as the biggest disaster in Telugu Film Industry in recent times. Similarly, Jai Simha turned out to be a below par film. Though the film saved its producer, it did not achieve the ‘hit’ status. The last big-ticket film is Anushka’s Bhaagamathie.

After seeing disaster with Agnyaathavaasi, and underperformance of Jai Simha, Telugu audience hoped that Bhaagamathie will come to rescue. Eventually, Bhaagamathie too disappointed. The film did not live up to its expectations. It failed to repeat the magic of Arundhati. The spectacular grandeur in the film and Anushka’s brilliant performance were far too high for the director to match with. The weak screenplay meant the film remained as an average.

Despite a month into the new year, and three big-ticket films releasing, Tollywood is yet to taste its real success! Let us hope for the best!

Anushka’s Bhaagamathie released amid high expectations. The film is directed by ‘Pilla Zamindar’ fame G Ashok. Bhaagamathie released on 26th January and received excellent openings. According to trade sources, Bhaagamathie first day collections stand at a whopping 12 crores. This is the highest for Anushka’s female-centric films. Bhaagamathie first day collections clearly leave Arundhati and Rudramadevi to dust.

Many shows have been houseful, with more bookings on the way. Given a national holiday on the day of release, most screens across the Telugu states have been running full. Meanwhile, Bhaagamathie first day overseas collections in the US stand at a record $156,538. The movie has been receiving tremendous response from youth and family audience. Good word of mouth is likely to improve collections in the coming week.

What’s more shocking is that Bhaagamathie collected Rs. 5.5 Crores share on its first day. In Nizam area itself, the movie got a share of Rs. 2.1 Crores. Though Bhaagamathie performed exceptionally well in Andhra, it saw a downtrend in Ceded. The movie registered a share of Rs. 75 lakhs in Ceded. Meanwhile, a share of Rs. 70 lakhs in Coastal Andhra, Rs. 60 lakhs in Guntur, Rs. 30 lakhs in West Godavari, Rs. 40 lakhs in East Godavari, Rs. 38 lakhs in Krishna and Rs. 27 lakhs in Nellore has been registered.

The collections are likely to shoot-up on today (Saturday) and tomorrow.

Konidela Niharika became the first heroine to enter film industry from the Mega family. Niharika’s first film ‘Oka Manasu’ ended as a below average at the box-office. The film did not click commercially. But Niharika was praised for her acting and screen presence in the movie. Niharika gave her nod for her second Tollywood flick recently. Her recent decision turned out to be a bad news for Megafans!

During her absence from the Telugu film industry, Niharika acted in a Tamil film titled ‘Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren’. Vijay Sethupathi and Gautham Karthik are playing the lead roles in the film. While Niharika and Gayathrie Shankar play the female lead. Niharika will be pairing opposite Vijay Sethupathi.

Niharika took part the film’s promotional event in Chennai. Talking to the media representatives, Niharika said, ‘It was a nice experience working here in Kollywood. Though it was a bit difficult without knowing the language, I ensured that it did not affect my role in the film. This movie brought the actress in me.’

When asked about the film’s release in Telugu, Niharika stated, the film wouldn’t be releasing in Telugu. ‘There is no market for Vijay Sethupathi in Telugu. Moreover, even I’m not keen on releasing the film in Telugu,’ said the Mega heroine.Mega fans were hoping to see the dubbing version of the film. With Niharika’s decision, this turned out to be a bad news for Megafans!

Hero Srikanth’s 2019 Operation poster is already creation sensation in Telugu circles. The first look shows him in a completely nude manner, with a poster covering his private area. The film is titled ‘2019 Operation’, with the caption ‘Beware of Public’. Srikanth’s 2019 Operation movie is likely to be along the political lines, and will most probably highlight the issues in the current society.

The film’s teaser released today on YouTube. One can find Srikanth sitting on the road, in a helpless situation after being bashed by a group of rowdies. With the rowdies walking away, one can find anguish, pain, vengeance, and intensity in Srikanth’s face.

Chandrababu Naidu To Lose Those Two Districts In Rayalaseema

The upcoming 2019 AP Assembly elections will decide the fate of 2 parties for the next 10 years. After losing in 2014 AP Assembly elections, YSRCP Supremo YS Jagan is keenly waiting for his chance to conquer the CM chair. Similarly, Chandrababu Naidu wants TDP to come into power and put a check to YSRCP for the next two elections.

Amidst all the high drama, TDP directed two private agencies to carry out survey polls for the upcoming elections. After seeing at the predictions, Chandrababu Naidu was more than delighted. The surveys predicted that TDP would perform much better in 2019 elections, in comparison to 2014 elections. According to the survey, TDP is likely to get between 140 – 145 seats this time around. YSRCP is likely to get 20 – 25 seats against 67 seats previously. Similarly, Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena is likely to end up with 5 – 10 seats according to the survey.

What’s more surprising is that, TDP will be getting 30 -38 seats this time around. In 2014 AP Assembly elections, TDP won 23 out of 52 seats in Rayalaseema region. Rayalaseema has been a strong foothold for YSRCP in 2014 elections.

Unfortunately, TDP is facing a setback in Nellore and Prakasam districts. No new projects have been awarded to Prakasam district since the announcement of Amaravati as Andhra Pradesh’s capital. Similarly, P Narayana’s dominance in Nellore district is hampering TDP’s chances in the district.

Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan is currently touring Anantapur. The 3-day political tour started today morning with Pawan Kalyan performing Bhoomi Pooja for Janasena Party Office in Anantapur. Speaking at the public gathering, Pawan Kalyan went on to make key statements about Rayalaseema regions.

‘For everyone Rayalaseema means factionism. For me, Rayalaseema is a place of diverse culture, and home of people like Tarimela Nagireddy and Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy. The people here are warm and welcoming. Their kind-heartedness always draws me here. I am not uttering these words to impress you or to grab your attention. On this day, I promise that I will stand by you, and will fight until we develop Rayalaseema. My love and affection towards Anantapur moved me to start Jansen’s first office from here.

I request you to vote for me, only if you believe that I will stand by you and fight for you. Whether you vote for me or not, my fight will still continue. My constant interaction with experts is only to bring out solutions for downtrodden masses and communities in our society. There are no personal rivalries with anyone,’ said Pawan Kalyan.The Janasena Chief once again stated that he will not indulge in Community, Religion, and Vote Bank politics.

Former Indian captain, Sourav Ganguly is undoubtedly one of the most influential cricketers in Indian cricket history. The Indian cricket is usually referred as; before Ganguly and after Ganguly. After the match-fixing scandal saw a great legend exiting the game, there was a mammoth challenge in front of the team. Though Sachin took up the captaincy, it was just matter of time before he handed over the reins.

In such a situation, it was Sourav Ganguly, who stepped up and took the responsibility. He became the Indian captain. His injected the spirit of winning. Ganguly became India’s first captain to give Australia a taste of their own medicine.

Sourav Ganguly had a close association with former Australian player, Greg Chapel. This made Greg the Indian coach. But the same coach was responsible for ousting Ganguly out of captaincy, and later the team. The spat between Ganguly and Greg Chapel became public after Ganguly addressed them in a press-meet during India’s tour to Zimbabwe.

From there, what we saw is the collapse of one of the cricket’s great. Though Ganguly managed to come back into the ODI team for 2007 world cup, he was not able to find his lost glory. Eventually, he chose to quit the International Cricket circuit in 2008.

The row between Ram Gopal Varma and Jayakumar took a different turn after the director filed a criminal case against the latter. RGV also issued a press note, in which he labeled Jayakumar as a thief. ‘Jayakumar was caught many times stealing things in my office. I warned him too. When I work for my movie, the movie’s plot, script and other details would be shared with 10-15 people. He is one of them,’ said RGV in his press note.

Reacting to this, Jayakumar took the attack to RGV at a personal level. Jayakumar claimed that Ram Gopal Varma is a homosexual, and compared him to Harvey Weinstein in Hollywood.

‘He is responsible for destroying many upcoming directors’ careers. Ram Gopal Varma is an evil. There is another person in him. Only people close to him know about that. There were instances where he behaved like an animal. I request all of his victims to come forward and fight along with me. It is high time now! We need to put a break to this animal’, said Jayakumar in a press meet.Ram Gopal Varma is yet to react to Jayakumar’s claims that, Ram Gopal Varma is a homosexual!
