Prabhas’ Spirit: Sandeep Reddy Vanga Shares Exciting Production Updates

0

Movie enthusiasts across the nation are eagerly awaiting Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Prabhas’ upcoming action thriller, Spirit. For Prabhas fans craving updates, here’s some exciting news. During a recent appearance on Jagapathi Babu’s talk show Jayammu Nischayammu Raa, Sandeep Reddy Vanga shared a fascinating insight about the film’s production.

According to the filmmaker, Spirit will follow a method similar to his earlier blockbuster Animal. “Shooting a film becomes much easier when the background music (BGM) is ready on set. You know exactly when to call cut, and the rhythm helps the actors deliver better performances,” Vanga explained. He added that while he didn’t have this advantage during Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh, 80% of the BGM was completed before the shoot for Animal, and for Spirit, 70% of the BGM is already ready.

Vanga further revealed, “This approach will save around 5–6 days of production. Prabhas is extremely cooperative and down-to-earth. Despite being a superstar, he never flaunts it. We are all set to start the shoot soon.”

Fans can expect a streamlined production process and an exciting new avatar of Prabhas in Spirit, making anticipation for the film even higher.

Telugu Horror Thriller Finds New Life on OTT After Moderate Theatrical Run

Horror thrillers are currently ruling the OTT space, and audiences are showing immense interest in this genre. Many such films, which saw only a moderate run in theatres, are now recording massive viewership on digital platforms. One such Telugu horror comedy, released in theatres on August 8, has now become a favorite among OTT audiences.

The film, featuring Viva Harsha and comedian Praveen in key roles, along with Krishna Bhagavan, Shining Phani, and KGF Garudaram, received good appreciation for its engaging plot and humor despite its limited theatrical success.

The story follows Parameshwar (Praveen), a struggling software engineer who dreams of opening a restaurant. Short on money, he takes up odd jobs but eventually listens to his friends’ suggestion of making ghost videos for YouTube. To their surprise, the first video goes viral. For the second one, the group ventures into an abandoned bungalow, where they discover an old book. Performing the rituals described in it, they accidentally summon a 200-year-old spirit (Viva Harsha), trapped inside a lemon.

The spirit, driven by uncontrollable hunger, wreaks havoc by devouring everything in sight before possessing one of Parameshwar’s friends. The rest of the film unfolds as Parameshwar and his gang attempt to rid themselves of the spirit, uncover its origins, and discover whether Parameshwar’s dream of opening a restaurant will ever come true.

With its blend of horror, comedy, and suspense, this small-budget entertainer has become a surprise hit on OTT, proving once again that strong content always finds its audience.

Rajinikanth’s Coolie Hits Prime Video on Sept 11 | Early OTT Announcement Sparks Debate

0

Superstar Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s action drama Coolie has grossed close to Rs. 500 crores worldwide. While trade experts initially expected the film to breach the Rs. 1000 crore milestone, mixed reviews slowed its box office momentum.

The film is now set for its digital premiere on Prime Video from September 11, 2025. However, the OTT announcement has sparked debate, as it comes just three weeks after the theatrical release. Many fear this early reveal might discourage audiences from visiting theaters this weekend, further denting collections.

Traditionally, a four-week theatrical window is common for South Indian biggies, but with expensive ticket rates and faster OTT releases, theatrical runs are shrinking drastically. If platforms continue to announce dates this early, movies may soon struggle to sustain even a two-week run in cinemas.
