Spyder Producer trying to recover 20 Crores loss with Ramcharan!

Winning and Losing is a common notion in the film industry. But losing 20 crores on a film that made excellent pre-release business is really shocking. NV Prasad who produced Superstar Mahesh Babu’s ‘Spyder’ with a staggering budget of 120 Crores has reportedly faced a loss up to 20 Crores. NV Prasad has produced films like Aadavari Maatalaku Arthaleverule, Racha, and Donga Dongadi in the past.

And the producer is again regaining all the moral strength to make a film with Ramcharan once again, and fortunately, recover the losses incurred after producing Spyder movie.

Ramcharan’s ‘Rangasthalam 1985’ is set to release on 31st March after it’s release for Sankranti has been postponed. From close sources, it is learned that Ramcharan has agreed to act in a film that would be produced by NV Prasad. And it learned that Ramcharan has already given dates. NV Prasad would be producing the film jointly with Allu Aravind. Going by the news, discussions, and negotiations pertaining to the film are also completed. The director is yet to be finalized.

After Sukumar’s ‘Rangasthalam 1985’, Ramcharan would be acting either in Boyapati Seenu’s or Koratala Siva’s film. One has to wait and watch whether NV Prasad would be producing Ramcharan’s next film with the above directors, or will plan a new film.

After two successful weeks, Raja the Great had a good run at the box office. The film is still going pretty decently. Dil Raju stated that 3 more comedy scenes will be added to the film and the audience can watch the new scenes from 4th November onwards in theatres.

With the latest news spreading like a wildfire, ‘Raja the Great’ would certainly fill more theatres at least for one more week. It is expected to reap more profits for the distributors and producer. The film so far collected 50 Crores as gross and has brought a profit of nearly 20 Crores for the producer.

It is recently reported that Akkineni Nagarjuna has agreed to do a film with RGV in the coming future. The duo first came together for the all-time classic ‘Siva’ that released in 1989. It has been 28 years since the release of that iconic film. Post that film, RGV had few hits in both Bollywood and Tollywood too. But largely his film bombed at the box office. After spending with flops in Bollywood for a long time, RGV came back to Tollywood.

Even in Tollywood, RGV’s films hardly managed to run in the theatres. Apart from Rakta Charitra in 2010, RGV had no hits in Telugu Film Industry. While ‘Rowdy’ managed to be an above average film.

With this, close people to Nagarjuna has advised him that, he is taken a wrong decision by signing a film with RGV who has hardly had any success from the past few years.

The reason for Nagarjuna signing up with RGV is not limited to film. ‘I don’t think Nagarjuna has any hope that his film with RGV will be a hit. When Balayya announced his interest to make a film on his father Late Shri NTR’s Biopic, we thought it will be one biopic which will be remembered forever. But a big joke has been made with three different versions. Instead of focusing on the core point “Biopic” on the person himself, the subject is diverted. It is nothing but foolish on the part of filmmakers to come up with movies like “Lakshmi’s NTR and “Lakshmi’s Veeragrandham”. And these people are taking the limelight without real productiveness.

We all saw the uproar over insane tweets made by both directors, and their “NTR” dreams. No one seemed to be really amused by their comments in social media. On the contrary, people are curiously waiting for Teja dreams on NTR.

Presently, NTR biopic is going on as per schedule and the script work is almost completed. Director Teja looks cautious and careful in collecting all the information about NTR from Balakrishna. Even Balayya is taking an active part in selecting the actors to be involved in the movie. Only Teja’s team looks serious and focused to present the movie properly. Unlike other two directors, Teja looks less keen on drawing unnecessary attention on him or his movie has not made any statements so far.  He only mentioned that Balayya called him and asked him to make a movie on NTR’S Biopic. The team believes in the productive outcome of the movie.

3 Songs, 2 Comedy Scenes cut from Shankar’s 2.0!

Director Shankar shocked the fans after he stated that 2.0’s runtime would be only 2hours 20 minutes during the 2.0 Audio Function in Dubai recently. Shocking more, it is learned that the planned 3 songs (about which fans are already complaining after Robo featured 7 songs), 2 comedy scenes and few routine scenes are cut from the film.

The twist is that the international version of the film would be having this cut. ‘The film would be released in 16 languages with a run time of mere 1hour 40minutes, more on the lines of Hollywood. Songs, a couple of comedy scenes and few routine scenes have been cut to keep the international audience engaged,’ stated a source close to the film’s unit.

The filmmakers are targeting the Chinese market and have already made necessary arrangements to have the release in Mandarin.

Though the film was speculated to release on 25th January 2018, close sources stated that the film is pushed to 26th January 2018. Few trade analysts commented that in order to not clash with Akshay’s ‘Padman’ the 2.0 release date has been moved to 26th January 2018. The film’s music of composed by two-time Academy winner AR Rahman, while cinematography was handled by Nirav Shah. Lyca Productions are producing 2.0 on a budget of 450 Crores.

Reports say at least eight people killed leaving more than a dozen injured in the area, after a gunman around 30-year-old, in a truck plowed through a busy bike path, an incident the US termed as an ‘act of terrorism’.

The gunman is believed to be from Uzbekistan, named Sayfullo Saipov was also shot in his stomach by US police before being arrested.Bollywood and Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra who presently working and living in New York very, fortunately, escaped this incident.The actress tweeted about the attack and shared with her fans that this terror act happened just five blocks away from her residence in New York.

In her other tweet, she expressed condolence to those who died in the tragedy and got injured. The actress was reportedly spotted shooting for the third season of her ABC TV show Quantico hours before the tragic incident struck NYC. In the past few months, there has been a widespread ‘gun shooting’ culture aimed at public gatherings in the US.
