Is Nani, ‘Dil’ Raju’s golden goose?

Producer ‘Dil’ Raju purchased the complete movie rights for Nani and Keerthi Suresh starrer ‘Nenu Local’ even before its release. As expected, the film minted huge collections and made excellent profits for Dil Raju’s company. After missing a chance to produce ‘Nenu Local’ with Nani, Dil Raju made sure that he is producing Nani’s upcoming film ‘MCA – Middle-Class Abbai’ under his banner, Sri Venkateswara Creations. Nani has been the latest sensation in the Telugu Film Industry and established himself among the likes of the top heroes. He has 7-consecutive straight hits, and MCA will most likely be his 8 hit in a row.

Meanwhile, Dil Raju reportedly approached the makers of ‘Krishnarjuna Yuddham’ which is being directed by Merlapaka Gandhi with Nani as the hero. After hearing the storyline from Nani, and watching the director’s taking of the film, Dil Raju was convinced that the film would surely be a hit. This promoted him to an extent that, he went ahead and purchased the movie rights for a high price.

Along with these two films, Dil Raju would be producing the third film in the row with Nani as the hero. As of now, it looks like, Nani is the ‘golden goose’ for Dil Raju. One has to wait and see how far the luck favours for this duo.

Megastar Chiranjeevi Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy Movie Release Schedule

With his comeback film Khaidi No. 150, Megastar Chiranjeevi made a grand entry after a decade gap. Chiranjeevi expressed that, ‘even though I was in full-time politics for over 9 years, my heart and soul always raced towards the silver screen. I never wanted to disappoint my fans, and wanted to do films once again for them.’

Megastar promised his fans that, along with Khaidi No.150, another film will also be releasing in 2017. And in 2018, he would be releasing two or three films, depending on the possibility.

Going by the latest updates on his upcoming 151 st film, ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ is being scheduled for release in January 2019 on the eve of Sankranti. The film’s shooting has already been delayed as Chiranjeevi’s final look in the film is yet to be confirmed. The upcoming film Sye Raa… is expected to go to shoot in February 2018.

Being produced on a budget of INR 150 Crores by Ramcharan Tej under ‘Konidela Productions’, this historical drama based film surely needs to spend considerable time on the sets to get the desired output. And with visual graphics also playing a key role in the film, the post-production work will surely take the film’s release into January 2019.

This news has clearly unsettled the fans who were anxiously waiting for Megastar’s movie

Though Ramya Krishna is previously seen in the film Na Alludu in this role, the film didn’t work out well. Hence no one offered with the role again to Ramya Krishna. Now, Ramya Krishna gave a nod to act in Maruthi film with Naga chaitanya. It is very common to see the caste in the titles. But, it is very rare seeing Reddy in the title. Previously there are very few films like Narasimha Reddy and few more with this name. Now after the film Arjun Reddy it became a Craze adding this to the title. Hence even Sailaja Reddy alludu seems interesting.

With over 55 versions worldwide and 4 versions in India alone, Bigg Boss has become the most watched reality show in the past. With changing times, the audience did change. The data revealed that Bigg Boss 11 which is currently running in Hindi is suffering all-time low TRP ratings in its history. From being a top show, the show is not even featured among Bigg Boss 11 stood at 11 th position in the urban category while limiting itself way back in top 20s in rural category. The show makers might have realized that their clichéd formula – ridicule the sexuality of contestants, pick up a nonsensical fight, abuse the opposite gender, enact sudden romance, all for the mere ‘mileage’ on the show. With the audience becoming smarter and smarter with every day, the romance episodes nor abusive fights are able to grab their attention and increase TRPs.

Salman Khan’s behavior is also thought to be under the scanner. His humiliating tone during the recent appearances is costing the show dearly. The label ‘fake and scripted’ is haunting the show gravely. If this continues, it can surely prove to be dead-end rubber for Salman Khan with Bigg Boss!

Allu Arjun’s DJ Premier shatters TRP records on TV

DJ (Duvvada Jagannadham) stood out as the biggest hit in Allu Arjun’s career. The Harish Shankar directorial went very close to Megastar’s Khaidi No. 150 collections. In its recent TV Premiere, the film has broken all non-Baahubali records and garnered a TRP rating of 21.7.

Prior to DJ’s premiere on television, Mahesh Babu’s ‘Srimanthudu’ was holding the record with a TRP of 21.2. Many trade analysts predicted that DJ’s run on TV would be limited to a TRP of 20 and just above. But proving everyone wrong, DJ fared much better on TV than it did on the celluloid. Leaving aside Baahubali, the DJ leads the race with a TRP of 21.7, while Srimanthudu stands next with 21.2 and Janatha Garage completes the podium with 20.7.

DJ Recorded Highetst TRP Ratings in Small ScreenAllu Arjun is seen as Brahmin Priest in the film, who also fights crime in disguise when a top cop requests him. Pooja Hegde plays the leading lady role, while Rao Ramesh plays a pivotal role. The film is produced by ‘Dil’ Raju under his Sri Venkateswara Creation Banner.

Allu Arjun is currently doing the movie ‘Na Peru Surya, Na Illu India’ under the direction of Vakkantham Vamsi, who is a well-known writer that has worked for successful films like Kick, Temper, Yevadu and much more.
