Vice President Venkaiah Naidu Visits Arun Jaitley at AIIMS

Delhi: Former finance minister Arun Jaitley admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)  on Friday. He was diagnosed yesterday with heart and kidney problem.
He admitted to the AIIMS in Delhi this afternoon. Jaitley had a kidney transplant last year.
He travelled to the US in January this year for regular medical checkups.
The doctors informed that Shri Jaitley is responding to the treatment and his condition is stable.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Nirmala Sitharaman and Sharad Yadav visited the hospital to inquire about Jaitley’s health on Friday.
Vice President Venkaiah Naidu checked on him on Saturday morning.

AP CM Jagan assures to help Tamil Nadu in Chennai water crisis

Amaravati: The Tamil Nadu government has sought the help of the AP government in meeting the water scarcity in Chennai. CM Jagan Mohan Reddy met with Tamilnadu delegation today and held talks regarding the water crisis in Chennai.
Jagan brought to the notice that 90 lakh residents are suffering from lack of drinking water. Chief Minister Jagan responded positively to the appeal of Tamil Nadu ministers.
CM Jagan ordered officials to supply drinking water to Chennai. ” neighbouring states should act like brothers, one should share the troubles of others. When lakhs of people are suffering, we have to act on humanitarian grounds”, Jagan told the delegation.
Tamil Nadu Municipal Minister Ganeshan, Fisheries and Administrative Reforms Minister Jayakumar and Principal Secretary Manivasan were among the delegation.

Amaravati: Cabinet Passes Bill Allowing Only Govt Shops to Sell Liquor

AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy focused on liquor ban to accomplish the pre-poll promises. Jagan’s govt to take over the liquor shops to manage them.
The government itself will run the liquor shops through AP State Beverages Corporation. This development will shut private retail outlets after the ban started. The government outlets will be open up to 6 PM.
All of the licences of 4,380 private shops in the state will lapse by September 30.
As part of this, the state is planning to employ 12,000 people in 3500 stores.
The liquor stores consist of a Super Wiser and two or three salesmen. The salary is set at Rs 17,500 for Super Wizard and Rs 15,000 for salesmen. The qualification requires for supervisor and salesman posts is Degree and intermediate.

Delhi: The central government to change the governor of Telangana

AP High Court Reserves Judgment on Chandrababu Naidu Security Petition

AP opposition leader and former chief minister Chandrababu’s arguments in the high court ended. The Lawyers appealed behalf of the NSG, AP government and Chandrababu.
The Advocate General, who filed arguments on behalf of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, reserved the verdict despite many questions heard.
Advocate General declared (NSG) National Security Guards will look after CPT.
However, Assistant Solicitor General Krishnamohan, who has been appearing on behalf of the NSG, said that the local police should look after his security at home or office.
When he went out, the NSG was only providing security when it was in public.
However, the Advocate General told the court that they were already providing security to Chandrababu with 74 people.
Lawyers, however, heard in court that the security of Chandrababu reduced after the defeat of the elections.
The High Court heard the three arguments and reserved the verdict.

Madhapur police remanded Venkatakrishna Prasad, son of YCP MLA Udayabhanu, for attacking and abusing Hyderabad traffic police.
Madhapur traffic police station constable Krishna was on duty at Khanamet near Meenakshi Sky lounge at 9 pm on July 29. The constable stopped vehicles coming from the side of Hightex Kaman.

The accused was produced before a 12th AMM court judge on Tuesday night and sentenced to 14 days remand. Venkata Krishna Prasad has taken to Charlapalli Jail.

Amaravati: PMLA orders to release attached assets of CM Jagan

The Enforcement Directorate(ED) Appellate Tribunal has sought the seizure of assets worth Rs 700 crore, including Lotus Pond’s residence in Sakshi, Sakshi’s head office in Banjarahills, Commerce Minister’s Building in Bangalore and Jagan’s shares in several companies.

The YS Bharati defaulting on foreclosure of the assets has been ordered by the ED tribunal to release them immediately.YS Jagan and Nimmagadda Prasadare relieved from Vanpic case.
With the Tribunal’s decision, 42 acres of land in Idupalapaya, 16 acres in Pulivendu and shares in Banjarahills Sagar society released.
The tribunal has also suspended the confiscation of assets of Rs. 325 crores. The tribunal has asked Nimmanadda to provide a bank guarantee of Rs 274 crore.

Amaravati: An old woman committed suicide at the CM camp office

An elderly woman committed suicide by swallowing sleeping nights at the AP chief minister’s YS Jagan camp office.

Sathyanaga Kumari of Gannavaram filed a petition on 19th of this month demanding justice.

She came to the CM camp office today due to lack of officials attention on her petition so far.
Sathyanaga Kumari came out of the camp office and swallowed sleeping pills.
The police then rushed her to the hospital for treatment.

3 TDP members suspended from Assembly for disturbing the proceedings

Deputy Speaker Kona Raghupathi has suspended three Telugu Desam Party MLAs K Atchannaidu, Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdaryand Nimmala Ramanaidu obstructing for proceedings of Legislative Assembly.
The House approved Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy’s report to suspend the three members.

Amaravati: World bank dropped financing for capital city construction

The YCP government, which took over the newly formed government in AP, has had a tough time.

The World Bank has dropped a loan of Rs2100 crore for the construction of its capital Amravati. World bank’s loan withdrawal after the formation of the Jagan government is shocking everyone.

The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) Commissioner Dr P. Lakshminarasimham, however, clarified that there was no official word from the World Bank yet. The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank(AIIB) would lend 1400 crores. Now AIIB may halt financing for the capital city.
