Going into the details, it was during the rough-phase of Ram Charan who had seen back-to-back flops before Dhruva. Ram Charan was impressed after watching the Raj Tharun starrer film ‘Cinema Choopistha Mama’ directed by Trinadh Rao. Immediately a message has been carried out from Mega compound to director Nakkina Trinadh Rao asking him to come up with a good storyline.

After Trinadh Rao approached Ram Charan with a unique storyline, the mega hero was impressed and was in talks with the director to start the new project. It was at that time; Dhruva project came into the foresight of Ram Charan. With Dhruva in full swing, the film with Trinadh Rao was shelved.

The latest buzz is that Ram Pothineni is all set to replace mega hero Ram Charan Tej.Trinadh Rao is directing a new film with Young and Energetic Ram Pothineni as the hero. The film’s story is the same one discussed with Ram Charan by the director in the past. hero. The film is being bankrolled by star-producer Dil Raju under his ‘Sri Venkateswara Creations’. The film will go onto sets in February 2018.

The whole Telugu film industry has been taken by surprise after rumors floated that ‘Agnathavasi’ movie’s story is based on ‘The Heir Apparent’. The main plot of the Hollywood film revolves around a rich businessman and his two wives. The businessman later becomes the victim of his close associated. While the antagonists try to get a hold on the property of the businessman, they come to know that an heir is born to his first wife, and without whose signature it would be impossible to get a hold on the property. The rest of the film is all about how the hero chased the bad guys.

Looking from a different perspective, Rajinikanth’s blockbuster film ‘Arunachalam’ also has a similar story plot. Even in ‘Arunachalam’ Rajini is seen growing under a family after he is separated from his parents. Later, Rajinikanth comes to know about his ‘rich’ father. While he chooses to leave the property and head towards his village, he comes to know about the ill intentions of the people who have acted as trustees. The rest of the film revolves around how Rajini made it to the end and fulfils his father’s wish.

If the rumours about the script of ‘Agnathavasi’ are to be believed, then the movie can be labeled as ‘Arunachalam Remake’.

It was during early 1980’s the political journey of the legendary actor-cum-politician NTR began. NTR agreed to act in a film titled ‘Desam’ in 1982. The film is a remake of Bollywood film ‘Lavaaris (1981)’. Amitabh Bachchan played the lead role in the Hindi film. A Telugu producer purchased the remake rights after he felt the film’s story would be apt for Sr. NTR. Though the Hindi film was not a big hit at the box office, ‘Desam’ which released on 27^th October 1982 went on to become a big hit.

Coming to the present times, even Pawan Kalyan is on the same lines. The mega-hero has prepared his ground for full-fledged politics. It is confirmed that Pawan’s next film would be a remake of super-hit Tamil hit film ‘Vedalam’. Ajith Kumar played the lead role in the film. The story of ‘Desam’ and ‘Vedalam’ are on the same lines.

Interestingly, many facts are coinciding with these remakes. Just like NTR finished the movie’s shooting in 19 days, even Pawan is aiming to quickly wrap the shooting in one schedule or utmost 2 schedules. Pawan is likely to meet many political leaders during the shooting span just like NTR who met political leaders during ‘Desam’ shooting.

‘Desam’ created the perfect launch for NTR into politics, and the film’s climax has helped him a lot in his political speeches and party rallies. One has to wait and see how likely Pawan’s film will help in his political career!

As many as 151 incidents of sexual assault have been reported in a small community of Lapland, Norway. The report has sent shock waves across the snow-nation. The Norway government launched an investigation after VG (Verdens Gang) newspaper published 11 testimonials of victims in 2016.

The testimonial included testimonials from 11 men and women who alleged that they have been sexually assaulted in Tysfjord. ‘The government officials found out that 151 people, including 4-year-old children and a 75-year-old woman, have been sexually assaulted. It is shocking to see such a huge number of sexual assaults taking place in such a small community which as a population of hardly 2,000’ said an official.

The officials have taken 92 suspects into custody, which included 3 women. Including three rapes on children, a total of 43 rapes have been reported in the 151 sexual assault cases.

This incident sparked nationwide protests against the offenders and the community leaders who compromised the safety of the children and women in the name of religious beliefs and mechanisms.

Many scientists have confirmed that most of the US cities are in a sight of North Korea with the latest test. ‘The tested ICBM has the capability to travel 13,500 Km. Though it landed just a short of 1,000 km from its launching site, considering the altitude and path we can estimate its actual capability. It can reach targets between 13,000 km – 14,000 km with precision,’ said an official.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump held a press meet at the White House stating that, ‘I exactly know how to deal with his (the latest launch from NK) and I will deal it in my own ways’.

Hyderabad Metro: Will it bloom or doom?

Prime Minister on Tuesday inaugurated the long-awaited Hyderabad Metro train services. He took the inaugural ride from the Miyapur station till the Kukatpally station, a stretch of 5 km. The Prime Minister Inaugurated the first phase of the project that covers 24 stations. Hyderabad Metro will kick-start its services to common public from tomorrow at 6:00 am.

The Prime Minister was joined in the ride by Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan, Chief Minister K Chandra Shekar Rao, Information and Technology Minister KT Rama Rao, Union Affairs Minister Harinder Singh Puri and BJP leaders Kishan Reddy and Dr. K Laxman.

The metro is offering a number of features for the convenience of the commuters, let’s take a look at them:

Commuters can avail smart cards from the metro from this weekend. It can also be used for other transport in the city.
Metro is expected to carry 17 lakhs of passengers every day and is going to cover a 30km stretch in its first phase.
The Hyderabad Metro project is divided into three corridors, covering all densely populated areas.
In the beginning, the metro will be operating from 6 am to 10 pm, later they are expecting to reschedule the timing from 5:30 am to 11 pm. This reschedule will take place depending on traffic and demand, said Telangana’s Technology Minister KT Rama Rao.
Tickets are priced from Rs. 10 to Rs. 60.
Elevated metro will have stations located at a distance of approximately 1km.
The operations will start with three coaches, each of which will accommodate 330 people per train. The number of coaches would be gradually increased to six depending on the peak hours and traffic.
The metro will eventually include feeder bus services, parking facility at strategic locations and have connectivity with other modes of transport.
The Hyderabad metro line is a 72km elevated stretch, which is expected to be completed by 2018. It is the largest public-private partnership project, the state government said.
There are also plans to build sky walls connecting the stations directly to commercial complexes, stadiums, and offices.

‘Hyderabad Metro may not be successful’ says survey

However, the commuters may choose other modes of transport within the city, they may prefer MMTS trains, RTC buses, and shared cabs, also keeping in mind the minimum and maximum distance fares are expensive.

The state government wants to keep the fares affordable so that large chunk of people could afford it for conveyance and transportation. However, business studies carried out by Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd and L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Limited revealed that commuters may prefer comfort and safety while traveling and not bothered by a marginal difference in fares.

Studies show that the students, businessmen, corporates will surely prefer cabs to travel long distances are expected to avail the Hyderabad Metro Rail Service.

The survey also pointed out the lack of ‘parking’ in and around the metro as of now. With no parking facilities in and around the metro stations currently, the commuters are likely to face a hard time. ‘People living 2-3 km away from the metro station need to the metro station by bike. They need to find a suitable parking place to park their 2-wheeler before they avail the metro services. This would be time-consuming and difficult,’ said a two-wheeler commuter.

Even the ‘basic services’ are not provided near the metro station. The Ameerpet – Maitrivanam metro station is known to be the most crucial exchange. 6,000 people are expected to use the metro station daily. There is only one public-toilet available for the passengers to use. The public toilets are not even seen in the nearby areas.

These all things can surely have a great impact on the numbers of the metro’s ridership.

Both late YS Rajasekhar Reddy and Chandrababu Naidu had a great impact on Andhra Pradesh politics. Right from the 1990’s and till now, both the leaders played a major role in shaping the state. While both started their as good friends, soon became rivals after they entered the politics. From rival political, things have slid into personal animosity. The animosity even grew between the supporters of YS and Babu parallelly with time.

But now comes an MLA, who openly said, ‘I like both YS Rajasekhar Reddy and Chandrababu alike. They are much more the same.’ She is none other than Giddi Eswari, who gave a shock to the YSRCP by joining TDP recently.

Araku MLA, Giddi Eswari said, ‘my self-respect has been greatly offended by the YSRCP leaders. They are opening doors for corporate politics, where money is valued than leaders. When I took this matter to YS Jagan, he was not even bothered. It is all about money for him and not the welfare of the people. I like YSR and Babu, not Jagan’.

Buyers not interesting to buy Balakrishna’s ‘Jayasimha’

Possibly for the first time in the last decade or so, the Nandamuri Hero is having a tough time. His film ‘Jayasimha’ is being directed by Tamil Director KS Ravikumar and produced by C Kalyan. The latest reports state that the distributors are shying away from buying the film.

According to a distributor, ‘the recent track record of the director isn’t that great. And Balakrishna’s last film Paisa Vasool did not perform well the box office. Moreover, Pawan Kalyan is also in the race for Sankranti along with Jayasimha. Taking these things into consideration, it is risky to invest huge amount on Balayya Babu’s Jayasimha.’

The producer C Kalyan managed to sell the distribution rights in few areas forcibly at lower prices than normal. But he is reportedly no finding any distributor for the Nizam area. ‘For the producer to even carry out talks and negotiate on the price factor, no distributors are ready to buy Jayasimha in the Nizam area. These are hard times for the Balakrishna starrer’, said a close source to the producer.

Right from the day ‘Mental Madhilo’ was announced by Raj Kandukuri, there has been a high expectation on the film. The producer previously produced ‘Pelli Choopulu’, which went on to become one of the biggest hits of the year 2016. The film raked 30 crores at the box office after it was produced on 2 crores.

The expectations on ‘Mental Madhilo’ just got double after star-producer Daggubati Suresh Babu chose to present it. The film released ‘Mental Madhilo’ surely disappointed the audience. The film had a resemblance to ‘Pelli Choopulu’ in many aspects.

People who have gone with high expectations to the theatres were greatly disappointed. Many commented that ‘the film lacked the pace. There is nothing new in the film. We expected a unique film from the producer of ‘Pelli Choopulu’.

Though the film is having a good run in the overseas, the film managed to make a good impact at the Telugu Box-office. ‘The film has recovered the investment. It will surely leave huge profits for the producer. But the film will not achieve the mileage of Pelli Choopulu,’ said a trade analyst.

Indian Skipper Virat Kohli will be leading the talks with the BCCI Administrator Vinod Rai. Former Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Coach Ravi Shastri will be accompanying Virat Kohli for the meet.

According to a senior BCCI official, who spoke on condition of anonymity said, ‘the players want a raise in their basic salary and Virat is leading the talks. The top players are currently receiving Rs 1.93 crores after their contracts deals have been doubled this year’

‘Virat Kohli and the players are always welcome for discussions with the BCCI to put their points across. We want the players to be always transparent and that’s what even BCCI is trying to be,’ said the official.

The ‘raise in pay’ came after the BCCI struck gold after it sold the IPL 2018 – 2022 Seasons Telecast rights to Star India Channel, owned by Rupert Murdoch. BCCI reportedly sold the IPL rights for the four seasons for a staggering amount of Rs 16,110 Crores (or $2.5 Billion).

The contracts of the players have expired on September 30^th, 2017. BCCI is yet to furnish new contracts that would be valid for one year.
