Undavalli Arun Kumar comes in support of Pawan Kalyan

The modern society is made of a horde (group) of crows, which keeps finding faults in every individual’s life. When the same individual steps into politics, these crows gradually subside and take the form of vultures. These vultures (in the society) wait for the right opportunity and thrive on the politicians, for their growth with selfish motives.

The same has been the case of Katthi Mahesh in recent times. He has been feeding off from Janasena Chief, Pawan Kalyan. Reacting to this, former MP (Rajahmundry) and a close aide to YS Rajasekhar Reddy, Undavalli Arun Kumar has opened up.

Talking to media representatives, Undavalli said ‘Katthi Mahesh reminded me of a guy in late 90s. That guy used drag film celebrities and politicians into controversies for his publicity. I feel Katthi Mahesh is doing the same. Initially, his comments were meaningful and sensible. But, they have become too boring and cliché.

I can appreciate Katthi Mahesh for his ability to justify his comments. Similarly, I appreciate Pawan Kalyan for not reacting to Katthi Mahesh’s comments. It is very common for people to irritate politicians and feed off from them.

Speaking about Janasena’s impact in 2019 AP Assembly elections, Janasena is a formidable force in AP. But it is too early to predict to what extent Pawan Kalyan and Janasena would succeed.

Agnyaathavaasi 7 days collection vs Jai Simha 5 days collection

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

Power Star Pawan Kalyan starrer ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ which released on Jan 10th, bombed at the box office. After opening to poor reviews, the film’s collections had a 97% freefall, the highest in the Tollywood history, in seat occupancy in the US on its second day. Though the film remains as the biggest flop in recent times, given the budget, pre-release business and gross, the film manages to rake up some decent numbers.

The film has collected Rs. 59.7 crores as gross, and Rs. 39.15 crores as share in the Telugu states. The film amassed a total of Rs. 88.7 crores as gross, and Rs. 54.95 crores as share worldwide. Allotment of extra shows, increase in ticket prices and the US premier collections helped the movie to rake these numbers.

Another film released for 2018 Sankranti was Balakrishna’s ‘Jai Simha’. The film released on January 12th. The movie received a mixed to negative review upon release. But luckily, due to the complete failure of Agnyaathavaasi, Jai Simha managed to have a decent run and emerged as an ‘average’ grosser.

The movie raked up Rs. 23.93 crores worldwide, and Rs. 19.7 crores in the Telugu states. With no films at the box-office until January 26th, Jai Simha can end up with Rs. 21.5 crores in the Telugu states. The movie’s distributors are already in safe position and are likely to earn scrapings towards its final run.

Canadian PM celebrates Sankranti in South Indian Style!

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

The current generation in India overlooks and disregards the rich culture and tradition that has been prevailing for over 1000s of years. We found the youth indulging in late night parties and pub-culture. Forget about celebrating Indian Hindu festivals, this generation doesn’t even know what they are, when they are. According to them, the best thing about Indian (Hindu) festivals is that they get a holiday; from school for students, and from office for employees.

Setting an example for everyone, and calling for global harmony and peace, the Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau celebrated ‘Sankranti’ in the same manner, as we celebrate in south India. The Canadian PM sported at traditional ‘Veshti’ and celebrated Sankranti, or Pongal (in Tamil Nadu).

He was seen celebrating the festival with Tamil Canadians in Toronto. He later shared the memorable pictures on his twitter. Justin Trudeau also wished everyone greetings in Tamil. His tweet read:

‘Iniya Thai Pongal Nalvazhthukkal! (Sweet Pongal Greetings). Had a great time celebrating Tamil Heritage Month and Thai Pongal in Scarborough this evening’.

Along with the PM, Mayor of Toronto, John Tory was also seen in traditional Veshti. The duo added their ‘novice’ expertise in preparing the traditional meal ‘Pongal’, celebrating the occasion.

Megastar Chiranjeevi made a great comeback to the Telugu Film industry with his 150th film, Khaidi No.150 for 2017 Sankranti. The film went on to break all the existing Tollywood box-office records (excluding Baahubali records). Megastar Chiranjeevi promised to his fans that, two of his films will be releasing every year from hereon.

Disappointing his fans, his 151st film, ‘Sye Raa… Narasimha Reddy’ only started on December 6th, 2017, and is slated to release for Jan 2019. The film has completed its first schedule on December 25th, in a special set erected in the outskirts of Hyderabad. Chiranjeevi, who was seen with a full-grown beardpreviously, was spotted with a clean shave in Mumbai, and in Hyderabad recently.

When questioned, Megastar said that he had undergone a clean shave, for the CG and VFX team to create his 3D image, using the motion capture technology. Adding to this, director Surender Reddy is now busy supervising the construction of a special set in a film studio in Hyderabad. The second schedule of the film will begin on 20thFebruary and will continue for 25-30 days, without any break. Post that, a month’s break will be taken.

Sources close to the production unit have confirmed that action sequences have come out brilliantly, and the who team is delighted with the output so far. Chiranjeevi is reprising the role of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy in the movie.

IT Raids on Balakrishna Film!

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

Celebrating this Sankranti, Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi and Balakrishna’s Jai Simha released on 10th January and 12th January respectively. After Agnyaathavasi shocked everyone by turning out to be a disaster at the box office, everyone assumed that ‘Jai Simha’ would be a roaring success, cashing on the former film’s failure. Even Balakrishna’s ‘Jai Simha’ failed to roar at the box-office.

Given the family sentiment drama and typical Balakrishna dialogues, the film is trying to make some profits at the box-office. With no films until 26th of January, Agnyaathavaasi and Jai Simha can manage to rake up few more collections.

Despite such a disappointing failure, Jai Simha produced, C Kalyan is now being chased by the IT sleuths. The IT officials reportedly issued a legal notice, asking C Kalyan to file the expenditure for ‘Jai Simha’. After the producer failed to provide the respective details, the IT sleuths cracked-down C Kalyan’s office. They recovered few important documents, said sources.

It is yet-to-be-known the nature of the documents collected from the producer’s office. All the movies produced by C Kalyan so far failed to achieve commercial success.

The 2nd test between India and South Africa ended before the close of thefirst session on the fifth day. With an extended 15-minute first session, the South Africa bowlers rattled-up the batting Indian order for a mere 151 in the 2nd innings. Debutant Ngidi picked up 6 for 39, to seal the match for South Africa.

Starting the day at 35/3, India lost their first wicket of the morning, after Pujara got run-out. Pujara who is often touted as the ‘run machine’ in Indian conditions, grabbed the title ‘Run-out’ specialist with the match. He was involved in 6 of the past 8 run-outs in test cricket. Parthiv Patel who looked with positive intent had to walk back after he was outdone by Morne Morkel’s catching brilliance. What seemed to be a tough chase, seemed to be an Everest task, with wickets falling at regular intervals.

For a surprise, Rohit Sharma seemed good for his 47. He got out 5mins before the lunch, after holing out at fine leg boundary to AB de Villiers trying to hook the ball. Pandya continued his lame batting display, after playing a loose shot, chasing a wide ball. India was all out for 151 runs, in 50.2 overs. South Africa win the series 2-0 with one more test, to start from Jan 24th. Debutant Lungi Ngidi is the Man of the Match, for his 6 for 36.

Why did KCR seek help from Former Congress MP?

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

It is during the last stage of the Telangana movement. A hostile situation was prevailing between KCR and then Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal. Both the leaders indulged in foul and insulting verbal spat against each other. After the special state of Telangana was formed, Lagadapati Rajagopal keeping his promise left politics for once and all.

Post that, a friendly environment prevailed between KCR and Lagadapati. More surprisingly, Lagadapati received agreat response, after he went to invite KCR for his son’s marriage.

According to internal political circles in AP and TS, KCR has reportedly sought a favour from Lagadapati. Undeniably, Lagadapati amassed great credibility in predicting election results, and outcomes. There were times where, pre-poll predictions have horribly gone wrong, but not Lagadapati predictions.

The Telangana Chief Minister is having a tough time in Telangana. The forecasts of various survey agencies, deployed by KCR & Team, have gone terribly wrong in recent times. The upcoming 2019 elections will be a litmus test for TRS and KCR in Telangana. Hence, KCR asked Lagadapati Rajagopal to conduct a survey on behalf of him and his party.

The survey would feature various aspects like, people’s response to KCR rule, MLA’s performance and allocating constituencies to respective contestants. One has to wait and see, whether Lagadapati’s survey will be a boon or curse to TRS and KCR in Telangana.

Bigger than Baahubali? 1000-crore and 300-crore movies on the way!

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

After the stupendous success of Baahubali franchise, the Indian filmmakers believe that there is a great market for mythological and historical films. Baahubali kept the cash registers at the box-office ringing for over 20 – 25 days across the nation. Irrespective of the language and location, the movie emerged as the highest grosser in Indian film history.

Figuring out the budget and collections of the movie, the filmmakers are moving towards historical films. Interestingly, many subjects (scripts) are ready in the form of Hindu mythological and historical books. Taking inspiration from them, two movies are on the way.

Mohanlal 1000 cr Mahabharata film details

The first movie is about Bhima, one of the five Pandavas. The film’s story will begin from the 17thParva of Mahabharata. VA Srikumar Menen is directing the film. The movie’s story is inspired by the novel ‘Randa Mooja’ written by Jnanpith Awardee Vasudev Nair, who will also work as a scriptwriter for the film. the movie is being bankrolled by BR Shetty. If everything goes according to plan, the movie is slated to release in 2020. The 1000-crore budget film will release in two parts, within a gap of 90 days.

Vikram Mahavir Karna 300 cr film

The second movie, with an estimated budget of Rs. 300 crores, is based on the life of Karna. The movie is titled ‘Mahavir Karna’ and is being directed by RS Vimal. Tamil superstar Chiyaan Vikram will be playing the lead role of Karna in the movie. Though Vikram initially refused the offer, he acted after the director elaborated the script. The director promised thataudience will see a new facet of Karna, who is known for his extreme generousness.

It is great to see Indian filmmakers trying to reprise thehistorical character in a different perspective and facet, and bringing them closer to the current generation.

Telugu Bullet predicted it correct! Vangaveeti Radha and Kapu leader to jump into TDP!

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

Telugu Bullet political analysts predicted that YS Jagan will make all the efforts to drive away ‘Kapu’ leader from YSRCP, and brand the party as ‘BC friendly’. His latest move mirrors the same. According to insider sources, messengers from the YSRCP High command have informed Vangaveeti Radha that, he will not be given the party ticket to contest from East, West or Central Vijayawada. Instead, they asked Vangaveeti Radha to contest from Avanigadda.

On hearing this, Radha became furious and has decided to leave the party for once and all. Radha, who is known for his hasty decision making, is likely to join TDP, close sources said.

Vangaveeti Radha has been facing humiliation from YS Jagan to other senior party leaders in YSRCP in recent times. And moreover, Radha is clueless about YS Jagan’s attitude, of giving party tickets to newcomers, ignoring senior party members.

When the same has been communicated to him, his followers also advised that Kapu community is with TDP and not YSRCP. The only way Vangaveeti Radha could take revenge on YSRCP (and YS Jagan) is by competing from Vijayawada as a TDP contestant. In recent times, Kapu community has been pro of Chandrababu Naidu and TDP, after he the CM approved the Kapu community reservation.

Sources close to TDP claim that Radha might join TDP on 22nd January, along with other Kapu leaders.

Cyanide takes lives of 5 people!

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

The death of 5 people, along with a 2-year-old child made headlines not only in Telugu states but also nationwide. The reported incident took place on October 17th, 2017. Patolla Prabhakar Reddy, his wife Madhavi, their 2-year-old son Harshith, Prabhakar Reddy’s aunt (mother’s younger sister) Kondapuram Lakshmi, and her daughter Sindhuja were found dead along the Shamshabad highway in Hyderabad.

Prabhakar Reddy and Harshith dead bodies have been found in an SUV car. Hyderabad police took the case prestigiously. After the postmortem was completed for the dead bodies on October 19th, 2017, the Osmania Forensic department doctors have confirmed ‘poison’ to be the reason for the deaths.

The police officials have been successful in keeping the details of the investigation under wraps for a long time. But the latest reports have suggested that Prabhakar Reddy has used ‘cyanide’ for committing suicide.

‘He might have contaminated the food and drinks with cyanide. It is very poisonous and can kill an adult human within 3-4 minutes. We believe, Prabhakar Reddy and Lakshmi are aware of the mass-suicidal plan. Prabhakar Reddy has lost over Rs.12 crores in Share market. And his aunt, Lakshmi lent a great chunk of that money, by borrowing from others. This could be the reason for the mass suicidal,’ said a police officer.

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘NTR’ teaser update!

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao is an icon of every Telugite living on this earth. He made every Telugu speaking individual proud in the Indian parliament. His film and political journey have been nothing short of aspectacle. He is the first Chief Minister in Andhra Pradesh who came up with various welfare schemes. They were so successful that, even the present governments are continuing them. Even on the silver screen, he is a class apart.

In an attempt to preserve his legacy, his son, and hero-cum-politician, Nandamuri Balakrishna came up with the idea of making a film on NTR’s life. Balakrishna will reprise NTR on the screen, with Teja directing the film. The movie is being bankrolled by Balakrishna himself. With an intention to launch the film’s trailer on 18th January, marking the death anniversary of NTR, the film’s unit carried out a small shoot.

But the latest reports state that the film’s teaser launch has been postponed. ‘After Balayya expressed his wish to launch the trailer on 18th Jan, his family members raised some congeners. They felt that it wouldn’t be proper to launch a film’s teaser on the death anniversary. Hence the date has been postponed’, said a close source to Nandamuri family. It is learnt that Balakrishna will soon come up with a new date for the teaser’s launch.

Why Katthi Mahesh is greater than Chandrababu Naidu + YS Jagan!

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

Telugu news channels are eagerly waiting for the election heat to catch up. There have been instances where, channels running in loss, posted profits in crores post the elections. It is during the Assembly elections; these news channels make most of their profits. TDP and YSRCP were the only horses that competed in 2014 AP Assembly elections. Thanks to Pawan Kalyan, the TDP had a safe run in the elections.

Apart from elections, the Telugu news channels have come up with another source of revenue. That is none other than, Katthi Mahesh.

The self-claimed critic has been highly vocal in bashing Pawan Kalyan on electronic media, social networking sites, and even by holding press-meets. From last 4-5 months, Katthi Mahesh had more coverage than Chandrababu and YS Jagan together combined. The TRPs generated for a Katthi Mahesh program are outclassing Chandrababu Naidu’s speech and YS Jagan’s counter speeches.

The Telugu news channels are projecting ‘Katthi Mahesh’s’ issue as the most critical thing in both the Telugu states. And interestingly, even the common man is more interested in Katthi Mahesh and Pawan Kalyan Fans war than anything else. If the same thing continues, maybe, even during 2019 Assembly elections, we might see Katthi Mahesh more than News readers itself.

Mother and daughter consume 1000 kg food every day!

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

You read it right. A mother and a daughter consume over 810 kg of food every day. Don’t be shocked. We are not talking about human beings. We are talking about (probably) the cutest animal, the Elephant. Vishakhapatnam is known for its beautiful beaches and amazing scenic views. The city is also home to a zoo park, which features rare specials and endangered animals. One can find white tigers too.

Recently, two new visitors have come to the zoo, which could well be their home from hereon. Two elephants, Saraswati and Lakshmi, were brought from Aurangabad to the Vizag (Vishakhapatnam) zoo. Saraswati and Lakshmi are mother and daughter. They are slowly, but steadily adapting to the new environment, and are currently a treat for the visitors.

Shockingly, both these elephants are reminding of Lord Bhima. Together, they consume over 1000 kg food every day. Their menu consists of, 650 kg green grass, 20 kg cattle feed, 10 kg of Raagi balls, 5 kg jaggery Rice, 5 kg chickpeas, 10 coconuts, 75 kg sugarcane plants, 5 watermelons, 400+ bananas, 50 kg banyan tree and peepal tree leaves and others.

Along with Saraswati and Lakshmi, two more elephants; Krishna and Raju are amusing the visitors.

Aircraft Passengers spot Missile!

Many renowned scientists feel that one nuclear war can wipe out the entire human civilization from the face of the earth. In this scenario, the global leaders and peacemakers should be working towards peace and harmony. But unfortunately, that’s not the case. People living in both the hemispheres are constantly under threat, thanks to the frazzled ties between the US and North Korea.

In another shocking incident, Kim Jong-un’s madness could have resulted in the loss of 300+ lives of innocent civilians flying at 33,000 feet above the ground. According to the US Federal Aviation authorities, the passengers on the flight heading towards Honk Kong, originating San Francisco spotted an ICBM (Intercontinental Ballistic Missile) from their windows.

The ICBM was 280 nautical miles away from the aircraft. At the time of the incident, the aircraft was 155 miles away from Japan’s coast. Along with this aircraft, 9 other aircrafts were travelling on the same route. Over, 716 flights travel in this route daily. If the missile had hit any of those aircrafts, it could have led to a catastrophic air accident.

This incident took place on November 28th, 2017. The ICBM firing was a part of the Nuclear Tests being carried out by the rogue nation, North Korea. This incident once again raises safety concerns for people travelling in a commercial jet, close to North Korea.

Is Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘God, Sex and Truth’ also a copy?

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

Ram Gopal Varma is a synonym for controversies and rumors, both in Tollywood and Bollywood film industry. The director has touched the pinnacle and saw the deepest lows in his career. His films, his posts, and even his comments create ripples in the film industries. Ram Gopal Varma himself stated that he usually takes inspiration from Hollywood movies for his films, and often change the screenplay and script, to suit our Indian audience.

The director went quiet after the launch of ‘Kadapa’ trailer. But he came back with a bang with his upcoming film (or web series) ‘God, Sex, and Truth’. Mia Malkova will be seen in the lead role. The movie’s trailer shocked everyone, given its content. Though RGV was criticized heavily, he was equally praised for film’s his bold and distinctive theme.

Shockingly, RGV once again under the line of fire. It is being heard that even ‘GST’ isn’t an original work.

An individual named P Jaya Kumar claimed that ‘God, Truth and Sex’ is a blind carbon copy of his work. He said, ‘I sent RGV my script for his review and comments. But after seeing GST trailer, I realized that it is a blind carbon copy of the script I sent to him. Everything uttered by Mia Malkova is lifted from my work’.

RGV is yet to react on P Jaya Kumar’s claim. Moreover, Jaya Kumar is not ready for any sort of off-the-court settlement. He is determined to pursue legal action against RGV.

Love Story older than India’s freedom – The 70-years of Royal Love Story!

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

We come across Indian parents often bragging about western culture and their ‘live-in’ relationships. They introduce their children as innocent, and timid. Shockingly, one can catch up with rich kids in pubs, that often run into morning wee hours. Yet, the parents of these kids behave as if they are unaware, and still back them.

The rate at which marriages are heading towards divorce is quite alarming in India. In the west, it is on a downward trend. Setting an example, not only to their citizens, but everyone in the world, the royal couple, Prince Phillip Mountbatten and Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom have successfully completed their 70th marriage anniversary. The couple’s engagement was announced to thepublic on 10th July 1947 (before India’s independence), and the marriage reportedly took place on 20th November 1947.

Prince Philip is the Duke of Edinburgh, who fell in love with Elizabeth II, daughter of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. Prince Philip was the escort to Elizabeth II and Margaret, during the King’s family visit Royal Naval College, Dartmouth. Elizabeth was 13, and Philip was 18, when they both fell in love. The marriage ceremony later took place after Elizabeth II turned 21, on April 21st, 1947. We bring you some memorable photos of this couple.

The Indian Shoaib Akthar! Age: 18 Pace: 145+kph

Kamlesh Nagarkoti, an 18-year-old, shy and thin lad standing 5’8” took the world by surprise. It is rare to see someone from India clocking speed over 90mph in International cricket. The young lad, Kamlesh not only surprised everyone watching him play the ICC U-19 World Cup against Australia, but also grabbed mighty Ian Bishop’s attention. During the match with Australia, the world has seen a raging fast bowler hustling towards the Australian batsman.

Clocking over 90mph is a dream come true for any fast bowler. Whatever might be the reasons, we hardly seen any Indian bowler constantly hitting the 145+kmph mark. Though bowlers like Zaheer Khan clocked over 145kmph, he had to give up the pace for accuracy. Sreesanth who shined like a pearlmet with a disastrous end.

It doesn’t seem to be in the case of Kamlesh Nagarkoti. During the 15th over, Kamlesh Nagarkoti changed the face of the game. After getting Max Bryant caught at cover with 144kph delivery with the 2nd ball of the over, Nagarkoti’s pace clocked 144 kph for the fifth ball and a shocking 147 kph for the final delivery.

Nagarkoti managed to clock speeds over 144+ kph constantly even in his 4th, 5th and successive overs. He kept the world talking about this deadly pace and accuracy.

Mahindra Chairman Tweets on Balakrishna’s Bolero Scene in Jai Simha

Posted [relativedate] at [relativetime time_format=”H:i”]

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s films are not only known for intense dialogues, but also for high-octane action scenes. In the past, Balakrishna did go overboard by driving in the face of a near-vertical hill and sending a train backwards with a mere stare. These scenes might have wooed film audience at that time, but not anymore these days. Instead, he became thebutt of jokes in recent times for acting in such sequences. After a Twitterati shared the video of Bolero Scene in Jai Simha on Anand Mahindra, (Chairman, Mahindra Industries) Twitter account, it caught his attention.

Ananda Mahindra rather replied in a hilarious manner on the sharedvideo (Bolero Scene in Jai Simha). His tweet read:

‘Haha. Now all our service workshops won’t need any hydraulic lifts anymore to do Bolero check-ups!!’

The tweet was shared and liked by over 1000 Twitterati in a short while. Anand Mahindra’s tweet on Balakrishna was in response to the Bolero Scene in Jai Simha, where Balayya lifts the Mahindra Bolero vehicle one-handedly with ease.Jai Simha is having a good run at the Telugu box-office, despite mixed reviews. The film is directed by KS Ravikumar.
