Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini Pandey starrer ‘Arjun Reddy’ attained the cult status upon its release. Critics and audience hailed the film for its raw and unadulterated content. Arjun Reddy drew large crowds towards theatres. In short, Arjun Reddy became the most successful small-budget movie made such an impact in the history of Telugu cinema in recent times. After all, the film raked Rs. 51 crores, after being made on a budget of Rs. 6 crores.

Vijay Devarakonda essayed the role of orthopedic doctor and as a failed lover in the movie. The latest buzz is Shahid Kapoor will be playing the role of Arjun Reddy in the Bollywood remake. Though this comes as a surprise to all, the filmmakers believe that Shahid’s look resembles Vijay’s looks in the film. After all, no on expected Shahid Kapoor to play a stern role of ‘Ratan Singh’ in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavat.

Vijay Devarakonda rejected a contract (of 5 films) by a Bollywood Production office recently. Not to mention, the offer was made Yash Raj films, one of the Bollywood’s biggest production houses. Arjun Reddy was equally a bit hit along with other blockbuster movies in the year 2017.

The row between Katthi Mahesh and Pawan Kalyan fans is likely heading to a major event in the near future. Despite many personnel from film industry requesting Katthi Mahesh to stop his ill-motived attack on Pawan Kalyan. But the self-claimed film critic was in no mood to heed to anyone, and he continued his attack.

In a recent TV channel show, Katthi Mahesh went on to say, ‘Who the hell is Pawan Kalyan? I don’t understand how these people are treating him like a god? He is after all completed his 10th grade’.

On listening to this, YouTube, Facebook and other social networking sites were flooded with messages from Pawan Kalyan Fans across the two Telugu states, and even from abroad. Everyone was bashing Katthi Mahesh for his ill-motived attack on Pawan Kalyan.

‘His comments are truly humiliating and disrespectful. Time has come where he needs to put an end to this. If not, his existence is highly questionable,’ said a hero from film industry on account of anonymity.

After he completed his interview and was heading out from TV9 studio, he was attacked by Pawan Kalyan fans. They threw eggs on him the moment they spotted him. Though the security around him protect him, he was struck with two eggs. In his protest against the attack, Katthi Mahesh once again went into the TV9 studio and demanded that Pawan Kalyan should take responsibility for these attacks on him.

Hyderabad has become famous for the cricket betting gangs since the last decade or so. The stakes involved in cricket betting in Hyderabad are so high, that they cross over Rs. 100+ crore per match during key international and IPL matches.

The police and other law enforcement agencies have cracked-down on various betting houses in the recent past. This latest crackdown, not only shocked the police officials but also raised serious questions to what extent the cricket betting mafic has sprawled across the nation.

The North Zone Taskforce Police arrested a gang that made Hyderabad as their hub for cricket betting activities. The police attacked the betting-houses in Narayanaguda, Abids, and Banjara Hills at once, and arrested 11 individuals linked to the cricket betting.

An amount of Rs. 45 lakh has been seized during the police raids. Voice recorders, cash counting machines, smartphones, laptops, TVs, and another betting-related equipment have also been seized. A case has been registered and a special investigation is in place. The police are hopeful that more information about other cricket betting gangs in Hyderabad will be out during the investigation.

‘Had a tour of the Suzuki Museum at Hamamatsu in Shizuoka prefecture. The tour was great but guess whose picture I get to see there? Our own Megastar Chiranjeevi garu. Felt nice to see someone from our motherland being recognized in a small town in Japan’.The tweet instantly became viral, and liked by over 3,800 and retweeted by more than 1,300 Twitteratis. No wonder, Chiranjeevi garu is called the ‘Megastar’.

Researchers and scientists are pointing the extreme drop on the temperature in Oymyakon as a sign of the beginning of a chain of catastrophic events in the coming future.

The upcoming Bollywood movie ‘Padmavat (previously Padmavathi) starring Deepika Padukone has been facing a similar situation.

The movie is helmed and produced by director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Even before the film’s release, various BJP-ruled state governments have announced a ban on the film. After Sanjay Leela Bhansali moved the Supreme Court, the apex court permitted the filmmaker to release the movie across the nation.

The Chief Justice of India asked the questioned (BJP) state governments to explain why they are against the release of the film in their states. ‘I’m really shocked at those state government’s attitudes. When the CBFC itself has given a U/A, what is the problem with these governments?’

During the shooting of the film, Karni Sena and other religious organizations indulged in vandalizing the movie sets, furniture and other valuables. This has incurred great loses to the producer. The film is slated to release on 25th January 2018 nation-wide.

He is more seen at film events and celebrity’s functions than in the Parliament. Every now and then he comes up with an awards program, awarding many film celebrities. Many have ridiculed him in the past for the same.

T Subbarami Reddy (TSR) awarded, ‘Viswa Nata Sarvabhouma’ title to Dr. Mohan Babu during an event, organized by TSR himself. No one really knows why TSR has given the award to Mohanbabu. While people claim that, TSR doesn’t need any reason or a strong cause to present awards. He just presents them whenever he wants to, and to whomever, he wishes too.

The absurd behavior of TSR and Mohanbabu has come under fire. Today, the 18th of January marks the 22nd death anniversary of legendary actor-cum-politician, and former CM Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, or simple NTR. The recent title presented to Mohanbabu resembles the title, ‘Viswa Vikyatha Nata Sarvabhouma’ held by NTR.

Telugu Bullet feels that Mohan Babu who proclaims himself as an ardent devotee and fan of NTR should have rejected the title. Even in practical terms, Mohanbabu doesn’t deserve this title on any given day. Presenting Awards and Titles might be a strategic move from TSR. But he should realize that Telugu people are not fools to fall prey for such cheap things.

Rajinikanth’s 2.0 breaks Baahubali 2 Movie

The whole nation waited eagerly for Rajamouli’s Baahubali. Both parts of the franchise created records and made India proud at the global level. Baahubali – The Conclusion which released on 28th April 2017, went on to become the biggest cinema in India. Pulling everyone out of Baahubali mania is the Rajinikanth’s starter 2.0, helmed by director Shankar and bankrolled by Lyca Productions.

The film is being produced on a budget of Rs. 450 crores, more than the total budget of Baahubali Franchise. Such is the massive scale of the movie.

Baahubali – The Beginning which saw a stupendous success in every part of India, made roads for astronomical theatrical prices for its second party. Baahubali – The Conclusion Malayalam version was sold for Rs. 10 crores, and had a wide release in 300 screens in the God’s own country, Kerala. Surpassing this is Rajinikanth’s 2.0.

The Malayalam version of 2.0 fetched Rs. 16 crores for the production company. The 2.0 Malayalam theatrical rights were purchased by August Cinema, a distribution company owned by actor Arya and cinematographer Santosh Sivan.

2.0 will be releasing in more than 500 screens in Kerala alone. The film is slated to release on April 27th, 2018. Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson, and Akshay Kumar are playing the lead roles in the film.
