The Bollywood juggernaut Dhurandhar: The Revenge aka Dhurandhar 2, is still holding strong at the box office and is now preparing for its digital run. The spy action thriller stars Ranveer Singh and is directed by Aditya Dhar. The film has already amassed close to ₹1800 crore worldwide, making it one of the biggest blockbusters in recent times.
While it was earlier known that the digital rights were acquired by Jio Studios, a new development has added an unexpected twist. The film’s digital premiere on Netflix has now been confirmed, but only for international markets. In India, exclusive streaming rights continue to remain with Jio Hotstar.
Netflix is set to begin streaming the film from May 14, 2026, exclusively overseas. However, there is still no official confirmation regarding the Indian OTT release date. This has sparked speculation among fans that Jio Hotstar may also plan a same-day release to avoid losing domestic viewership to global platforms.
Given the film’s massive theatrical impact, expectations are sky-high for its OTT performance as well. Meanwhile, Dhurandhar Part 1 continues to enjoy a strong run, maintaining its place in Netflix’s Top 10 charts in India. The Dhurandhar universe shows no signs of slowing down, whether on the big screen or the small one.

Prakash Raj’s casting adds considerable heft to the venture. Renowned for his intense screen presence and versatility, he is expected to essay a powerful, narrative-driving character that will leave a strong impact on the story.
Meanwhile, anticipation among fans is steadily rising for the film’s promotional rollout. Songs and the trailer are keenly awaited, and the team is said to be chalking out a phased promotional strategy. Official announcements are expected to arrive soon.
