Ustaad Bhagat Singh Now on Netflix, Faces Fresh Criticism!

Pawan Kalyan’s film Ustaad Bhagat Singh released in theaters on March 19, 2026, and failed to impress audiences at the box office. Directed by Harish Shankar, it clashed with another film, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, and underperformed. Despite this, the director called it his best work and promoted it as a success.

The film is now streaming on Netflix in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, giving it a much wider audience across India.

However, a bigger audience also means more opinions. Since the film did not do well in theaters, it is likely to face stronger criticism from new viewers watching it for the first time on OTT.

Harish Shankar had earlier lashed out at people who gave negative reviews during the theatrical run. But recently, at a public event, he admitted that the film did not perform as expected — a big change from his earlier stance.

Now, with social media reactions pouring in, all eyes are on how the director responds to the fresh wave of criticism this time.

Agadha: Producer M. S. Raju Tries a New Genre

M. S. Raju, the producer behind popular Telugu films like Manasantha Nuvve, Okkadu, Varsham, and Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, is now making a mystical thriller called Agadha.

He has spent over a year working hard on this project. The film will release in five languages — Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi — targeting audiences across India.

Agadha mixes mythology, mystery, and suspense to give viewers a unique experience. Promotions kicked off with a fun video featuring two thieves who sneak into Raju’s office, spot his old film posters, and then stumble upon a mysterious Agadha poster hinting at something dark.

The first look reveals a cave, a twelve-handed idol, and a girl — all building curiosity and suspense. The film was shot over 85 days and includes heavy use of visual effects.

The movie stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, with Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma, and Boman Irani in supporting roles. AR Rahman is composing the music. Venkata Satish Kilaru produces the film under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas.

Sabdham OTT Release Update: Aadhi Pinisetty’s Horror Thriller Still Awaited

0

Six months ago, Aadhi Pinisetty returned to the horror thriller genre with Sabdham, directed by Arivazhagan Venkatachalam. Despite high expectations from their reunion after the blockbuster Eeram (Vaishali in Telugu), the film received mixed reviews and couldn’t make a strong mark at the box office.

Although it has been quite some time since Sabdham was released in theatres, the movie is still missing from OTT platforms. This prolonged delay has left movie buffs frustrated, as there is still no official update regarding its digital premiere. Earlier, reports suggested that the film would arrive on Prime Video on March 28, 2025, but that never happened. The lack of clarity from both the makers and the streaming platform has only added to fans’ disappointment.

Produced by Siva and S. Banupriya Siva under 7G Films and Alpha Frames, Sabdham revolves around paranormal investigator Ruben (played by Aadhi Pinisetty), who probes a series of mysterious deaths in a medical college. Lakshmi Menon plays the female lead, while Simran, Laila, Arthi Ashwin, M.S. Bhaskar, and Redin Kingsley appear in key roles. The film’s music is composed by SS Thaman.

Fans now eagerly await an official announcement on when Sabdham will finally make its OTT debut.

He silenced all doubts with Mirai, which opened strongly and impressed both critics and audiences. Now, all eyes are on his next move.

While producer Naga Vamsi was initially expected to bankroll the sequel, the project is now being mounted on a bigger scale by TG Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner. Prashant Varma will serve as the scriptwriter and showrunner, while the direction is likely to be handled by Bollywood filmmaker Suparn Verma, known for The Family Man and Rana Naidu. An official confirmation is awaited.
