Sukumar Confirmed Movie with Mahesh Babu

Still basking in the success of ‘Rangasthalam’ movie, director Sukumar has taken some time off and visited Mattaparru village, East Godavari district, where he was born and brought up. The director spent some quality time with the locals with who he has shared bonding over decades.

While Sukumar thanked everyone for making his film ‘Rangasthalam’ a huge success, the villagers too expressed joy and happiness over his success.

Sukumar already stated that his next film will be with Superstar Mahesh Babu. Speaking in this context to the reporters, Sukumar made key comments on his film with superstar Mahesh Babu. ‘My next film which is planned with Mahesh Babu will soon go onto the sets. We are currently casting for the film.

Once the initial pre-production works are complete, I will reveal more details about the project. Devi Sri Prasad will be scoring the music for this film too’, said Sukumar.

The star director spent a lot of time posing for a selfie with the locals in the village. It is really nice to see someone remembering their roots, and visiting their birthplace once in a while, and sharing their happiness and joy with people with whom he grew up.

Rajasekhar who is dubbed as ‘Angry Young Man’ made a sensational comeback with his film ‘Garuda Vega’. The movie toppled all the predictions and went on to become the biggest hit for the hero in the last two decades. After a series of debacles at the box office, Rajasekhar proved himself with ‘Garuda Vega’.

But, post the humungous success of that film, Rajasekhar did not sign any project. Though rumors are being heard that, the hero is donning key antagonist roles in star heroes’ films, they are yet to be confirmed. Amidst this situation, director Prashant Varma (Awe movie fame) has approached the senior hero and has reportedly impressed him too.

The movie is an official remake of Tamil hit film ‘Power Paandi’, directed, produced and co-written by Hero Dhanush. Currently, the movie is in its pre-production stage, and the casting is underway.

Along with this film, Rajasekhar also signed to act a film to be directed by Aishwarya Dhanush in Tamil. It looks like the senior hero is back to course with one hit.

‘After watching the film in the US, director Sukumar immediately called me up and appreciated. He said that, while he was watching few scenes he became emotional, and he even cried at times. He stood as a support to a director and writer in me. The director in me received appreciation from another director. I am very happy for this. At the same time, filmmaking is more a business. Puri Jagannadh’s son Akash Puri is making his debut with the film ‘Mehbooba’. While his father Puri Jagannadh himself is directing and producing the movie, Kannada girl Neha Shetty is playing opposite to him in the film. The movie is all set to hit the screens on May 11th, 2019.

Along with the other cast, and the technical cast of the film, Akash Puri attended a promotional event of the film. Somehow, the name of Janasena Chief and actor Pawan Kalyan cropped up. Speaking in this context, Akash Puri said, ‘I really like Pawan Kalyan sir a lot. In fact, it is because of him we are in this stage. He is the one who has given my father the first chance to direct the movie. Because of ‘Badri’ only, my father has got so much of craze.

If not for Pawan Kalyan, I don’t think any other hero would have brought so much of craze for my father who has done that movie’. When asked about with which star hero he wants to share the screen, Akash said, ‘to become a star hero one has to work hard. First of all to act with such kind of heroes I need to meet that criterion first’.
