The mega family has the reputation of producing star heroes from the past two decades. After Chiranjeevi established himself as the Megastar of Tollywood, Pawan Kalyan soon followed him. Another Mega brother Nagendra Babu settled as a producer. With time, the list of heroes from the mega family has grown. After Mega brothers, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Allu Sirish, Varun Tej, Sai Dharam Tej, and heroine Niharika Konidela followed them.

Adding to the list is the new-comer Kalyan Dev, or Kalyan Kanuganti from the Mega family. He is the 10th member and 9th hero from the Mega family. Kalyan, Sreeja’s husband is the younger son-in-law of Chiranjeevi.

Since past few months, the mega camp has been hinting about Kalyan Dev stepping into films. Finally, it materialized into reality today. The shooting for Kalyan Dev’s debut movie began today. The film is being directed by Rakesh Sasi, and Sai Korrapati is producing it on ‘Varahi Chalana Chithram’ banner. Malavika Nair will be acting opposite Kalyan Dev as the female lead in the movie.

Megastar Chiranjeevi gave the first clap, while SS Rajamouli took the honor of directing the first shot of the film. MM Keeravani switched on the camera. The film is likely to release in this year itself.

The Mega Prince Varun Tej’s upcoming flick Tholi Prema is inching closer to the release date. Meanwhile, the makers have started promotions and its movie’s special girl’s turn to promote both the movie and herself.

The flick Tholi Prema is releasing in the second week of February. Along with lead actors and technicians, there is one person who is eagerly waiting for the film’s success. This person is none other than the Britain model turned actress Sapna Pabbi who has Indian origins. Sapna even though she is new to Tollywood, she is well known for the North Indian movie and TV audience for her projects. Sapna has acted in a couple of Bollywood movies but she came to limelight with serials. Khamoshiyan has given a much-needed promotion for herself. Now, this girl is getting debuted in Telugu with Varun Tej’s Tholi Prema.

Though she had a limited screen space in the film, she did a crucial role along with a romantic song. Already this song ‘Sunona Sunaina’ became an instant hit on Youtube and she got recognized for her attractive features. This beauty in her recent interaction with media revealed that she portrayed the character of a local guide of London in the movie. Sapna stated that she worked for 5 days for her character and song but later she maintained good relationships with movie’s core team. Not stopping there, this actress claimed that she invited Varun and director Venky Atluri to her home but they failed to visit for a packed schedule. She hopes to find a career in the Tollywood with Tholi Prema.

This sensitive love drama is directed by a writer turned director Venky Atluri and bankrolled by BVSN Prasad under SVCC banner. Music scored by S.S Thaman has got a good applause already. Rashi Khanna is romancing Varun in this film. This film is slated for the grand release on February 9th.

The crazy director Harish Shankar has announced his next with two young heroes. This project’s regular shoot gets a commencing time at last.

Despite having a hit like Duvvada Jagannadham, the director Harish Shankar received huge controversy over collections and his narrative skills from leading critics and netizens. To prove his mettle, he has decided to showcase his directorial skills with a sensible script. This time, he is attempting a soothing love story with the happening young guns Sharwanand and Nithin as main leads. Earlier the same project was planned with the mega heroes Varun Tej and Sai Dharam Tej but for some reasons, Harish changed his mind. Also, big discussions carried out regarding the lead actresses as well in the past.

According to rumors, Rakul Preet Singh and Pooja Hegde were roped in as the female leads but nothing was officially confirmed by the makers. The latest information from the producer Dil Raju states that the regular shoot of this flick will be started from mid Summer. In the month of May, the US schedule will be commenced with the four lead actors and crucial artists. This love story will be high on emotions and entertainment. More details about this project will be revealed by the maker Dil Raju in a press meet. Now the script work has been completed and Harish is reworking on the script only to make it double good. After the pre-production, Harish along with Raju will fly to the USA for location scouting.

Already the US proved to be a lucky charm for Harish as his movie Subhramanyam For Sale has America backdrop. This movie will be made and released in the early months of next year. Thaman is in talks to score music and background for this project. An official confirmation is awaited from the makers.

Once most celebrated director Srinu Vaitla has completely lost his charm with consecutive flops with big heroes. Finally, he is banking on his lucky hero Ravi Teja. This hilarious combo has scored two hits in the name of Venky and Dubai Seenu. Now same Ravi is lending his helping hand by okaying a script written by Srinu Vaitla. In very less time, he locked the script and asked the latter to carry on with the pre-production. Elited Vaitla almost completed casting except for lead actress.

Now the latest information from the producers Mythri Movie Makers team came to know that the leading Malayalam beauty Nivetha Thomas is roped as the main lead opposite Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja. Prior to this project, this talented actress was in talks with the director Kalyan Krishna for Ravi Teja’s ‘Nela Ticket’ movie but didn’t get materialized. Now she is not missing the chance to share the screen with Ravi Teja. This movie’s regular shooting will get commenced from the second week of February. After finishing a quick first schedule in India, the entire team will move to the U.S for a long big schedule in Summer.

Apparently, this project is titled as ‘Ram Robert Rahim’ in which Ravi will be seen in three different roles.

Currently, Ravi Teja is waiting for his flick Touch Chesi Chudu’s release. Directed by a debutant Vikram, this movie is bankrolled by Nallamalapu Srinivas and Vallabhaneni Vamsi. Music is scored by Hindi composer Pritam’s music band JAM8.

Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja is eagerly waiting for his ‘Touch Chesi Chudu’ film’s release on February 2nd, 2018. The actor is currently busy promoting his film. The actor signed back-to-back films after a 2-year gap from films. Speaking at the occasion, Ravi Teja came up with interesting answers to the questions put by the media.

Answering to a media personnel, about the kind of films he is doing, Ravi Teja’s reply took everyone by surprise. ‘I did some experimental films in the past. In fact, films like Shambo Siva Shambo, Neninthe, and Naa Autograph Sweet Memories are unique and different. I put in a lot of hard work for those films. The result? They just did not perform well at the box-office. That’s when I made up the mind and said no experiments anymore.

I want to act in the way the audience wants to see me. And even If I take the risk and go ahead, the box-office result is upside down. Hence I made a decision of no experiments anymore. Nevertheless, Touch Chesi Chudu is unique in its own way, and has my mark’, said Ravi Teja.

Frankly speaking, there is a lot of sense in what Ravi Teja spoke. It seems as if Telugu audience is not yet ready to see Ravi Teja in experimental films!

Income Tax Department has attached Bollywood Baadhshah Shahrukh Khan’s Alibaug farmhouse under the new Benami Transactions (Prohibition) Amended Act, 2016.

The property covers over an area of 19,960 square meters and values Rs.146.7 million.  According to the IT Sleuths, the land was purchased for agricultural purposes, has been converted into a farmhouse with swift comforts like swimming pool, a private beach, and a helipad. This falls under Benami transaction under Section 2(9) of the Act.

In this whole event, Déjà vu farms played a key role (Benami) to the Bollywood Star. His family, including wife Gauri Khan’s father, mother and her sister are directors of this firm. It attained unsecured loan of Rs. 8.4 crore from SRK for purchasing the agricultural land in Alibaug. Till date, there was no farming activity done over there.

Khan family frequently visits this place for recreational activities, celebrating parties and family outing. In the recent times as well they have conducted parties for family and friends.

According to the law, the attachment of the property cannot cannot go over a 90-day period, from the date of issuance of the notice.

Hollywood Actor Mark Salling commits suicide

Hollywood Actor Mark Salling has died at the age of 35. The Mark Salling is famous for his role as Noah ‘Puck’ Pukerman on Glee. His attorney, Michael Proctor confirmed the death of the actor. Recently, Mark Salling was found guilty on the charges of possessing and receiving child pornography. Besides, this, there were cases of sexual abuse in 2015, on the actor. The police have filed a case against him in 2016.

During the investigation, the investigation authorities found as many as 50,000 Child Pornography videos and photos from the actor’s house.

According to few media outlets in the US, the actor committed suicide by hanging. The unfortunate incident took place yesterday morning, Los Angeles local time. The court’s hearing was scheduled for March 07, 2018 for sentencing.  

In August 2017, the actor failed in a suicide attempt. Mark Salling attained celebrity starring in web series and TV series. He has a strong association with Fox Studios. No one knows what life has in store for them. Rest in peace Mark Salling.

Allu Arjun got ecstatic and shared his happiness on Twitter after DJ movie (Hindi) crossed 10 crore views on YouTube. His tweet read:

‘Thank you all for all the love! Elated that our Dubbed Telugu films are being watched and appreciated by others. Humbled!

At the time of writing this article, the Hindi Dubbed version of DJ clocked 100,349,926 views so far on YouTube in less than 70 days. The movie is liked by 421000+ viewers, according to YouTube analytics. Though DJ opened to mixed reviews, the movie went on to gross 70+ crores at the Telugu box-office. The movie stars Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. The Harish Shankar directorial also registered excellent TRPs during its Television premier.

Until now, Allu Arjun is the only hero (prior to Baahubali) from Tollywood to have an established market in Malayalam too. With DJ Hindi dubbed version clocking over 100 million views, we can expect the upsurge in Allu Arjun’s market. This result is likely to boost ‘Naa Peru Surya’ Rest of India theatrical rights price.

In fact, part of the credit goes to SS Rajamouli and Prabhas for coming up with a film like Baahubali. It is the Baahubali franchise that made other language audience to take a look at Telugu films more than ever.
