Cabinet minister Gajendra Singh responded over allegations on Polavaram project

A series of questions continued in the Rajya Sabha on Monday regarding irregularities in the construction of Polavaram.
Many of the YCP MPs and BJP leaders have urged the Center to investigate corruption on Polavaram.
YSRCP MP Vijayasai Reddy in the Rajya Sabha told that the restructuring of the Polavaram refugees has manipulated.
Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat replied to Vijayasai’s questions.
He said that he had not received any reports of the alleged irregularities in the construction of the Polavaram project and there was no possibility of ordering a CBI inquiry.
Shekhawat said the central govt declared Polavaram as a national project as part of the bifurcation Act.
He said that the central govt would be responsible for 100% of the construction of the Polavaram project.
The construction of Polavaram has completed up to 60 per cent, the minister said.

Delhi: Senior TRS leader D. Srinivas met with Amith Shah

The TRS leaders suspect that there could be a strategy behind the meeting of Amit Shah, who was present at the TRS parliamentary party meeting on Wednesday.

Koganti Sathyam at Taskforce police office for questioning

Hyderabad: In a new twist to the investigation of Steele trader Ramprasad Murder case police picked up Koganti Sathyam for questioning.

The police told Sathyam had formed seven teams to kill Ramprasad.
Among them, one team was Shyam and other Prasad’s team.
Ramprasad, who has been harassing Sathyam for five years, told Sathyam followers not to spare him.
Police have confirmed that Koganti had seen the murder directly from an apartment nearby.

Amanchi Krishna Mohan allegations on Karanam Balaram election affidavit

YSP candidate Amanchi Krishnamohan has approached the High Court saying that Chirala MLA Karanam Balaram’s election is invalid.
It is alleged Karan Balaram affidavit is false and Karanam Balaram has four children.
The accused in the election affidavit showed that there were only three.
He also presented evidence in this regard to the High Court and asked him to be given an opportunity as an MLA to file a disqualification.
