Sony to update 8 Smartphones to Android 10

With other manufacturers already modernizing their devices to Android 10, it was a crucial time for Sony to announce something positive about its policies, and that’s exactly what it resolved to finally do today.
The company announced that eight of its smartphones are in line to receive the newest version of the OS. These are the Xperia 1, Xperia 5, Xperia 10, Xperia 10 Plus, Xperia XZ2, Xperia XZ2 Compact, Xperia XZ2 Premium, and Xperia XZ3.

That’s it. If you own Sony devices other than these and if you are expecting to see it run Android 10, you are unlucky, at least for now. There’s always a possibility the organization may include more handsets later, but you apparently shouldn’t hold your breath.

The Xperia 1 and Xperia 5 will be the first of all to receive Android 10, at some point next month. The other six devices will have to remain patient till “early 2020 onwards”, to quote Sony’s parlance. Accurate timing and update availability will vary by country or operator, as usual.

The rest of the story is as to how Subhash goes on a mission and finds the culprits behind it.

Performance: Kollywood star Vishal as an army officer is perfect. He has excelled in realistic action sequences. His body language and facial expressions are superb. Vishal has done all the stunts himself. Tamannah Bhatia looks super-hot in songs and does her part very well. Sayaji Shinde did his major role well. Akanksha Puri is super-hot in her negative role and the actress provides good eye candy. The rest of the cast performed accordingly.

Technical: The Storyline of the film is very interesting. It is told by a storyteller with a perfect understanding of the talent of its cast. The background score is pulsating and plays an integral part in Action. This time the director Sundar C tries a different attempt with a small twist in Action. The cinematography work is top-notch and showcases the action in a superb manner. Editing is smooth. The production values of this film are extravagant. Telugu dubbing is neat.

Analysis: Action starts with an action sequence set in Istanbul with ludicrous stunts. Everyone expected that there will be a strong antagonist who might prove to be more than a match to the actor, but what the audiences get is a weak villain. The last half an hour of the film disappointed the viewers. Terrorist hiding in Pakistan being brought to India have been showcased in many movies before. Sundar C became successful to impress the audience by creating good suspense.

With the audience in the dearth of good movies, If Tenali Ramakrishna can manage to get a decent talk from the first show, then we can expect good collections and much needed hit for Sundeep Kishan. But if the talk is not good, then nobody can save his career. Sundeep Kishan has taken the risk of arranging premier shows for the movie. Steven Smith is in line to make his first BBL appearance in six years after rejoining the Sydney Sixers with the Australian schedule allowing a small window for internationals to appear.

Smith, who was part of the Sixers team that won the first BBL and last appeared in 2014, could be available for the final two regular-season matches following Australia’s ODI tour of India in mid-January and then the finals series if the Sixers make it that far.

Australia’s last ODI in India is on January 19 with the Sixers then having matches on January 23 (Brisbane Heat) and January 25 (Melbourne Renegades) before the finals.

“When the schedule of the BBL is out and I noticed there was a possibility to diminish the Magenta again I jumped at the chance and look ahead to joining up with the unit after my January national team responsibilities have ended,” Smith said.

Smith has recently showcased his T20 skills with a brilliant unbeaten 80 off 51 balls in the run chase against Pakistan in Canberra alongside another unbeaten fifty against Sri Lanka in what was his first T20Is for three and a half years.

“While I know the fans will and should be excited by this development, our players will benefit from his skills, support, and perspectives on the game,” the Sixers head coach Greg Shipperd said. “Steve was instrumental in our recruitment of Josh Philippe and Josh, along with other youngsters in our squad like Jack Edwards, Lloyd Pope, Tom Curran, and Justin Avendano, will be the better for sharing a dressing room with an Australian great.”

The director is currently shooting for the second part of KGF and recently he took some time off to meet Jr NTR and narrated a storyline. Jr NTR was impressed by it and expressed his interest to work with him. But there is no any update regarding this project.

A few days ago, during his visit to Hyderabad ahead of the release of Vijay and Nayantara starrer Whistle, Kollywood director Atlee spoke of how Jr NTR keeps in touch with him. Nannaku Premkatho star also congratulated him after his film’s release. Everyone expected that Atlee is going to do a film with Jr NTR. Though Atlee hailed JR NTR recently, he hasn’t given any clarity about their film. However, Atlee has signed up a three-movie deal with Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh’s home banner.

No, as there is no other option of Jr NTR, he is now looking forward to team up with either Koratala Siva or Trivikram Srinivas for his next.

The director is N V Nirmal Kumar who created ripples with his much-acclaimed debut Doctor Salim. The producers of the film G Sriram Raju and K Bharat Ram officially have announced that the film is ready for release on Dec 6th.

The team of MISMATCH thank noted director Krish for unveiling the first look of the film and actor Victory Venkatesh for launching the teaser. The hero of the film G Uday Shankar thanked the producers for giving him an opportunity to act in the film. He further appreciated the novel story given by veteran writer Bhupathy Raja. He explained that the vision brought in by the director would greatly enhance the quality of the film. Uday Shankar said that it was a fun experience working with the talented actress Aishwarya Rajesh.

He further expressed sincere thanks to the media for their support and sought the blessings of the audience for the film which is releasing on Dec 6th. The Heroine Aishwarya Rajesh said that she accepted the film because it was a must-do subject. The director has a great job. She felt that her role in the film would be appreciated for its uniqueness.

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has reiterated that an iPhone SE successor is on course for launch in the first half of next year. Dubbed as iPhone SE 2, Apple’s next smartphone is set to arrive at a cheaper price point without losing key features of the latest iPhone series. Kuo also said that the revamped iPad Pro with a 3D camera sensor will debut in the first of next year.

Kuo’s latest update is in line with the recent Bloomberg report that said Apple is working on a 3D sensor-enabled iPad Pro as part of the company’s efforts to push Augmented Reality (AR) content. The report said the next ipadPro will come with a small cutout for a 3D system allowing users to create 3D reconstructions of rooms, objects and other things. The sensor will eventually make its way to the iPhone 12 series in 2020 along with other important upgrades such as 5G.

As far as iPhone SE 2 goes, the phone has been rumored for a very long time. According to reports, the phone will officially debut at the company’s annual March event next year. The next smartphone is said to be crucial for Apple which has managed to return to double-digit growth in key markets such as India. The revival has mainly been driven by lower prices and other bundles. Apple iPhone SE 2 is rumored to be priced around $399 (Rs 28,000 approximately), giving Apple a chance to compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S10e and Google Pixel 3A.

Some key features and specifications of Apple iPhone SE 2 have also leaked online. According to reports, Apple iPhone SE 2 will sport Apple iPhone 8-like design and offer a compact 4.7-inch LCD display. The phone will run on the Apple A13 processor with 3GB of RAM and 64/128GB storage variants. There will be a single rear camera on the phone.

Realme X2 Pro is launching in India on November 20, but that won’t be the only smartphone up the company’s sleeve. Realme is also planning to launch the Realme 5s. Going by the name, it was speculated that the Realme 5s would be a variant of the Realme 5 or Realme 5 Pro. According to a new report, it seems the Realme 5s will indeed be identical to the Realme 5, except for the cameras.

Realme has already confirmed that the Realme 5s will come with a quad-camera setup like the Realme 5. The company also revealed that the main camera will offer a 48MP sensor as opposed to the 12MP sensor on the Realme 5. BGR India has learned that this will be the fundamental difference between the two phones.

Realme 5s will get a 48MP quad-camera setup like the Realme 5 Pro, while everything else remains similar to the Realme 5. This means the Realme 5s will be powered by a Snapdragon 665 SoC and will pack a large 5,000mAh battery. The Realme 5s is also said to come with a 6.5- inch HD+ display and Gorilla Glass 3+ on top.

Realme 5s could start with a 4GB + 64GB configuration. The phone is expected to ship with ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 Pie. As for the quad cameras, in addition to a 48MP sensor, the Realme 5s will also get am 8MP wide-angle lens and two 2MP sensors where one could be for macro photography and the other for depth sensing.

Again, without any confirmation from Realme, it would be wise to take this report with a pinch of salt. Realme will launch the Realme 5s alongside the Realme X2 Pro on November 20, so you won’t have to wait too long to find out the official specs and pricing of the smartphone.

Ajinkya Rahane moves to Delhi Capitals

Ajinkya Rahane has been traded to Delhi Capitals, it was announced on Thursday (November 14). Rahane will move from Rajasthan Royals who have secured legspinner Mayank Markande and Rahul Tewatia.

Rahane played 100 games for the Royals and represented them between 2011 and 2015 and 2018 and 2019. Last season, he started the season as captain but was sacked midway in favor of Steve Smith. That led to him finding some form as he struck an unbeaten 105 against Capitals and ended the season with 393 runs from 14 games.
