AP High Court Reserves Judgment on Chandrababu Naidu Security Petition
AP opposition leader and former chief minister Chandrababu’s arguments in the high court ended. The Lawyers appealed behalf of the NSG, AP government and Chandrababu.
The Advocate General, who filed arguments on behalf of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, reserved the verdict despite many questions heard.
Advocate General declared (NSG) National Security Guards will look after CPT.
However, Assistant Solicitor General Krishnamohan, who has been appearing on behalf of the NSG, said that the local police should look after his security at home or office.
When he went out, the NSG was only providing security when it was in public.

Nellore: A 45-year-old man arrested for raping and impregnating his daughter on 1st August. The incident took place near Musunuru Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh.

Mangaluru: Cafe Coffee Day founder Siddartha body found
Former Karnataka Chief Minister’s son-in-law, VG Siddhartha, who disappeared on Monday night, has committed suicide. According to TV reports, Siddartha asked the driver to head towards Nethravati bridge committed suicide by jumping off the bridge.
Siddhartha’s body was found in the Netravathi river on Wednesday morning after a local fisherman informed to police.
He was last seen at Nethravati bridge 350 Km from Bangalore and close to the Arabian sea.
Siddhartha left home after writing a letter stating that he was in serious trouble in business transactions, investors and income tax authorities were not pressurized.
Police and swimmers sough around the Netravathi river for about 30 hours in search of Siddhartha’s body.
He found dead in the Netravati River in Hoige Bazar area, police said. Siddhartha’s body had already decomposed, police said. He was taken to Wenlock Government Hospital for postmortem.
Amaravati: PMLA orders to release attached assets of CM Jagan
The Enforcement Directorate(ED) Appellate Tribunal has sought the seizure of assets worth Rs 700 crore, including Lotus Pond’s residence in Sakshi, Sakshi’s head office in Banjarahills, Commerce Minister’s Building in Bangalore and Jagan’s shares in several companies.
The YS Bharati defaulting on foreclosure of the assets has been ordered by the ED tribunal to release them immediately.YS Jagan and Nimmagadda Prasadare relieved from Vanpic case.
With the Tribunal’s decision, 42 acres of land in Idupalapaya, 16 acres in Pulivendu and shares in Banjarahills Sagar society released.
The tribunal has also suspended the confiscation of assets of Rs. 325 crores. The tribunal has asked Nimmanadda to provide a bank guarantee of Rs 274 crore.

Apple also plans to make use of Qualcomm’s modem technology for a 5G iPhone in 2020 but does require an internally developed 5G modem technology ready for use in some of its products by 2021. Intel previously disclosed plans to have a 5G modem ready by 2020, so tapping the Intel assets could help Apple hit its target.
The replacement of Qualcomm is likely to take place in phases. Apple will try to build up its ability to ensure that its modems work on all the networks and countries where Apple does sell phones.
Apple’s license deal with Qualcomm does last for six years and its accompanying chip supply agreement could perhaps remain also for that long. Apple is indeed likely to continue to make use of the San Diego firm’s chips in its flagship models even if it phases in its silicon for lower-end as well as older models.
Apple has also a tie-up with Taiwan’s Global Unichip Corp, a chip design house in which Apple supplier Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co is an investor, to explore a modem design, but the work is in early stages
Patents as leverage
The most valuable feature of the Intel deal for Apple can turn out to be patented. To sell a 5G iPhone, Apple will indeed need to strike deals with the major holders of 5G patents, including Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei, and Qualcomm. Apple did execute a licensing deal with Qualcomm, but it has not disclosed whether it has several deals in place with the others.
Intel has a similar portfolio as Qualcomm, but they certainly have a much larger one to impact the valuations when it does come to a cross-licensing deal. It will help in preventing Apple from having to change much in cross-license deals.
Amaravati: Tri-Sabhya committee formed over Kapu reservation issue
The AP government formed a Tri-Sabhya committee on Kapu reservation issue.
CM Jagan announced Ummareddy, Minister Kannababu and Ambati Rambabu appointed as members of the committee.
CM Jagan has brought Centres letter on Kapu reservations written on April 4 which states the inclusion of Kapus into BC list and 5% reservation for Kapus in the OBC category.
CM Jagan has instructed the committee to study why Babu, the former CM, did not answer the central letter.
The committee will study the report given by the Manjunathan Commission.
Big Boss-3: Tamanna entered the house and Hema is out.
Amidst controversies, Bigg Boss reality show has just completed its first week on TV.

Actress Hema eliminated from the Sunday show. However, soon after, the host Nagarjuna gave House Mates a surprise.
To his amazement, a wildcard entry sent Tamanna Simhadri, a hijra, into the house.
A Hijra entered the house for the first time in the history of Telugu Big Boss.
Big Boss became more interesting now as Hijra moved in.
