Andhra Pradesh, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu shockingly made a statement that Andhra Pradesh should vote for his party or else can call themselves as shameless in the impending General Elections of 2019.

Speaking at a recent press conference, he questioned, ‘Why wouldn’t they vote for me after fulfilling every wish and need of them? What else do they want? Don’t you pay the salary for hard work? Last night, officials have requested me to let them go as its New Year eve. But, I told them I can’t do so because the work is yet to be completed. This is my hard work’.

He did not stop at that, he demanded recognition for bringing Krishna Waters to Hyderabad which doesn’t even have power and water. ‘If you see the past, Hyderabad neither have electricity nor water. But when I approached World Bank, they told me that to supply one-liter water to Hyderabad will cost Rs.20. Successive Governments hadn’t even thought of it, but under my government, I spent Rs.1000 crore and brought Krishna Waters to Hyderabad within 8 months. That’s how I have transformed Hyderabad,’ said AP CM.

Regarding Polavaram Project, he pledged he won’t give up on the issue and informed that 73 percent of the works have been completed as of now.

Ram Gopal Varma advised people to give away money and other valuable things if they are so concerned about other person’s happiness and prosperity. He said he is cent percent confident no one will do that as they will only wish because wishes do not cost them a penny and are free.

He concludes the subject by saying ‘Anyway I wish a very happy new year to those who don’t believe in wishing anyone a happy new year’.

At present, he is busy in shooting with his upcoming project, which is an action entertainer with Nagarjuna in lead role. The film is set to be released in February.

Heroines Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma are playing as his female leads in the movie. These three are considered as hit combination with the super hit movie ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ in their pockets.

SRK in his latest tweet shared this news along with a video attached where the title is announced. The video features Shahrukh dancing to Mohammad Rafi’s Hum Ko Tum Pe Pyar Aaya song from Jab Jab Phool Khile movie starring late veteran actor Shashi Kapoor. He sported 3 of his different avatars. The most amazing thing about the film is SRK’s character and his look as a dwarf in the film. The fans, audience and whole film industry are eagerly waiting for the movie.

Curiosity increased after seeing the minute-long video where the actor announces the title and also utters a dialogue “Hum Jiske Peeche Lag Jathe Hain, Uski Life Bana Dete Hain” among the viewers. SRK is known to do experiments in his movie, is surely made a good attempt to come back with yet another interesting project. In the video, Shahrukh still looks as charming as ever in spite of his dwarf avatar.

Usually, the Vijayawada Kanaka Durga Temple closes at 9 pm in the night and reopens again in the morning. But recently, rumours surfaced that some pujas were going until 11 pmin the temple premises. The temple’s authorities immediately informed the AP State Police. As a part of the investigation, the police officials examined the CCTV footage of Vijayawada Kanaka Durga Temple.

Shockingly, they found an unidentified man. The authorities confirmed that the man was not among the priests who perform their daily duties in the temple. The unidentified person was seen along with a Senior and a junior priest on 26th December, at 11:00 pm. The police are investigating the case from the angle of ‘Tantric pujas’ being carried out in the temple.

Few sources claimed that the pujas were going on until 12:45 am past the midnight. It is known that the Temple authorities have given permission to two individuals for the cleansing of the temple. But a third person was also found in the CCTV footage. Insider sources claimed that the alleged pujas were being performed for a ‘famous’ personality, and without the permission of the permitted individuals, there is no way the unidentified person can enter the temple.

Power star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Agnathavasi’ is gearing up for release on January 10th. The film is releasing in more than 576 locations in the US alone, highest for any Indian film. ‘Agnathavasi’ went on to break many records even before its release. Trade circles stated that the film has already done a pre-release business of Rs. 200+ crores.

While these things are adding much hype to the film and are known elements to propel the collections after release, one thing is worrying the film unit.

Going by the reports, it is learned that T-Series Music company has issued a legal notice to Agnathavasi production house, ‘Harika and Hassine Creations’.

From the last couple of months, it was rumored that ‘Agnathavasi’ is based on a French film ‘Largo Winch’ that released in 2008. Though the film was an average at the international box-office, the film received critical acclaim for its plot.

With T-Series purchasing the French movie rights, a legal war is imminent for the producers of Harika and Hassine creations. Few insider sources claimed that ‘Harika and Hassine Creations’ is already in talks with T-Series and a settlement is likely to be reached within the next couple of days. In the past, Katthi Mahesh too made similar comments on Agnathavasi, indirectly referring it as a remake of the French film ‘Largo Winch’.

The Hyderabad police already announced that there would be drunk and drive on 31st December night a week ago and also warned people with legal consequences if caught driving while drunk. During the drunk and drive carried last night on the eve of New Year Celebrations, the Hyderabad police registered over 3000 cases on commuters, after they were caught driving vehicles under the influence of alcohol.

During this special drive, famous TV Anchor Pradeep was also caught. In India, one can drive under the influence of alcohol, only if the alcohol consumption is less than 30mg (of 100 ml of blood). Anchor Pradeep was stopped at Banjara Hills Road No.45 as a part of ‘drunk and drive’ special drive. Shockingly, when Anchor Pradeep was tested using the breath analyzer, the report came to be 178mg. Which means, it is nearly 6 times more than the legal limit.

The police immediately seized the vehicle and took Pradeep into custody. He was later sent to the home. Police sources stated that Pradeep might well be jailed for driving under alcohol influence.

From the past few weeks, we have been reporting that the Hyderabad Metro Rail failed to impress the Hyderabadis. The same continues even this time. A metro train stopped at the Ameerpet Metro Station on 31st morning. Officials stated that a technical snag disrupted the train’s service. This disruption delayed trains in both the directions.

The Hyderabad Metro Officials immediately responded and the train was taken to the ‘safety parking lane’ at the Prakash Nagar station. The safety parking lane is a third track, that runs in between the two tracks. Post that, metro services resumed.

Shockingly, a report claimed that RTC buses reach the destination faster than the metro services. On an average, metro train takes around 52 minutes from Nagole to Ameerpet. To board the metro train, the commuters need to reach the metro station, wait for the train an pray to god that there would be no disruption of services. Meanwhile, the TSRTC buses cover the distance between Nagole and Ameerpet within 50 minutes. And moreover, the bus-fare is also less when compared to the metro fare.

Let us hope that metro delivers what is expected from it.

Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) suggested five modifications to the much-awaited movie “Padmavati”. They recommended only 5 modifications, without any cuts, confirms the CBFC Chairman Prasoon Joshi.

It is reported that the Censor Board wants to change the title to ‘Padmavat’. A disclaimer to be included saying that the period film does not assure historical precision. A second disclaimer should be played making it clearer that the movie neither approve the practice of Sati nor tries to glorify it. Few distorted references to historical spots should be changed.

Prasoon Joshi defended suggesting title change saying that the makers alleged that the fictional poem ‘Padmavati’ was a creative source for the movie.

A special panel constituted by CBFC, which include historians, has studied ‘Padmavati’. While it is understood that the director and Producer have accepted the modifications. The movie that was slated to release on December 1st would now hit the screens in the New Year.

It is the first time that a dress code for teachers is proposed for government-run schools and colleges in MP. Surprisingly the teaching community has hailed the state government’s idea of striking dress code for them.

State higher education minister Deepak Joshi, on Saturday, directed that his government is planning to enforce a dress code for teachers to make them as well as the people conscious of the teacher’s special place in the society. Apart from this, they will also get their due recognition in the society, Joshi told the media.

Nirmala Deshpande, a teacher from state government-run high school in Bhopal, told the dress code will not bring us recognition in society but also give us a sense of responsibility. Opposition parties, however, see some ulterior motive with such a move by the state government.

“It is a diverting tactic by the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government to shift the attention of the people from the developing displeasure among the teachers and students over the lack of infrastructure, like the school buildings and sufficient teaching staff”, a spokesman of the opposition party said.  He also added that the government-run colleges have earlier also tried to impose a dress code for women faculty members prohibiting them from wearing western clothes such as jeans.

We all know it is no small thing to deliver a baby as it is painful and second birth for all mothers. But the 24-year-old Samarwati Devi, who hails from a village in the Dindori district of Madhya Pradesh, was eight months pregnant and her situation is even more dangerous. The woman was in a dismal situation as she was forced to deliver her baby in an open field after doctors at a hospital refused to admit her, saying the unborn baby had died in the womb.

Samarwati was taken to a local district government hospital at 3 am on Monday as she complained of severe pains and anxious of early delivery.

Pathetically, without even admitting the patient, the doctors declared the baby died in her womb due to stress. The horrifying behavior of the hospital staff did not end at that, Samarwati alleges that she was slapped by the nursed and denied admission to the hospital. She said they forced her to leave in the early morning hours in such pain.

Condemning the incident Chief Medical Officer of the government hospital, RK Mehra, said he is taking all the statements of the staff members present on that night. He said, the proper probe will be made and strict action will be taken who so ever is found guilty.

Pakistan allegate on Saturday that India has denied visas to nearly 200 pilgrims who wanted to visit the country to attend the death anniversary ritual of Hazrat Khawaja Nizamuddin Auliya.

In an official statement released by the Foreign Office, it said, “Pakistan regrets the last minute postponement and non-issuance of visas by India” for the visit of 200 pilgrims who want to attend the Urs ritual (death anniversary) in New Delhi from January 1st to January 8th.

This decision taken by India will deprive all the Pakistan devotees a chance to participate in the ritual, which is of utmost significance, the statement also mentioned. The visit, however, happens to take place under the 1974 provisions act, between Pakistan- India Protocol on visits to Religious Shrines. It is a normal thing and considered an annual feature.

The statement said, it is unfortunate and runs opposite to the protocol made in 1974 and objects to people to people communication. It also said it looks to be violating the bilateral protocol, basic human right to religious freedom.

It is ironic that such an action happened on the occasion of Urs of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya who was considered as a symbol of bringing communities closer, the Foreign Office added.

Karnataka Minister is very likely to face disciplinary action for praising Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao. The TRS leaders are very happy and welcomed it with a positive statement from a Minister of neighboring state, Telangana Congress leaders are venting out their anger, their own party leader for lauding the work of Arch- Rival.

While KCR laid the foundation stone for Golla- Kurma Welfare Buildings and Hostels. In a meeting organized on this occasion, Karnataka Transport Minister Revanna appreciated and praised Telangana Chief Minister for offering 24 hours power supply to the farmers. There is a famous idiom, ‘put your house in order, before you start advising me’. This aptly suits former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mulayam Singh Yadav. The former CM was undoubtedly the most celebrated politician in the Uttar Pradesh. He had a great influence at the national politics. There was a time when, people thought Mulayam could well become the Prime Minister of the Nation.

In the recent past, Mulayam was greatly taken back. He had to lose his brainchild Samajwadi Party to his own son Akhilesh Yadav. This time it is the turn of his younger daughter-in-law, MP Aparna Yadav.

Going in to the details, after the BJP led NDA government at the Centre introduced the ‘Triple Talaq’ bill in the parliament, Mulayam Singh Yadav asked for some amendments in the bill. But shockingly, MP Aparna Yadav stood up immediately, and stated ‘it is an excellent bill that will benefit the poor and innocent Muslim women who are being abandoned by their husbands’.

Given his daughter-in-law’s stance, and her proximity towards the BJP, Mulayam Singh was left high and dry. Given the family politics in Mulayam’s family, it looks like there might be different ends even in the case of regional parties.
