Is Jai Simha Not Releasing In Overseas?

Even before release, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming film ‘Jai Simha’ has become the centre for many controversies. It was initially speculated that no distributors are willing to buy the Nandamuri hero’s film, given his track record. Post that, it forced the film’s producer, C Kalyan to release the film all by himself in the Telugu states.

In recent times, Telugu films have seen an uptrend in their overseas market. Especially in the US, where there is a large Indian population, the Telugu film producers are more than excited to release the film in the US.

The latest buzz is that ‘Jai Simha’ may not be having an overseas release according to close sources to the producer. Just like the local distributors in the Telugu states, no one is coming forward for the release of the film in overseas. Given the release of Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Agnathavasi’ on January 9th 12:00 noon, and other star films like Surya’s Ganga, the overseas distributors have taken a backstop on releasing Jai Simha.

Meanwhile, the Nandamuri fans are condemning the rumours stating that the film is releasing in overseers in 100+ screens. Interestingly, the film’s production unit remained tight-lipped on the claims.

Tollywood 2017 Starts And End With Mega Heros Movies

Let us dwell on the exciting things that happened to the Telugu Film Industry in the year 2017. Though 2017 started with a lot of expectation, it later disappointed after the high-expected movie went flat at the box office. The year remained just like any other year, with a mixed response.

The year started with a bang with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s re-entry movie ‘Khaidi No. 150’, which also marked his 150th film. Along with Chiranjeevi’s film, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’ also released for Sankranti. Hero Sharwanand’s ‘Shatamanam Bhavathi’ joined these two films in Sankranti race, and surprisingly all the three films were a bit hit.

Given the blockbuster openings in the first month, everyone expected that it would be a great year for the Telugu film industry. Excusing Baahubali 2, no other film managed to create tremors at the box office. Many films either ended as average and above average with few exceptions.

During the last quarter, ‘Arjun Reddy’ on Telugu audience after Baahubali-2. Many well-known film personalities have died in the year, and some unfortunate events shocked the film Industry.

Surprisingly, the year started with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s film and also ended with another Mega-hero film. Allu Sirish starrer ‘Okka Kshanam’ opened to good reviews from the critics and fans. The sci-fi thriller caught the audience pulse and went on to become an unexpected hit. The year ended with a bitter memory for Sunil who came up with ‘2 Countries’ recently.

Let us hope that the new year, 2018 will bring great success to our Tollywood.

We already have seen Jr.NTR and Pawan Kalyan came together in a single frame during the launch of NTR28 and the announcement of the multi-starrer film with NTR and Ram Charan in the main roles left all the fans of both the families thrilled. It looks like the Mega- Nandamuri bonding is going to reach a new level in the following days to come.

There is an exciting buzz making rounds in the industry and also now in social media that, Nandamuri Taraka Ratna is playing an important role in Ram Charan’s next film which will be wheeled by Boyapati Srinu. Taraka Ratna who started his film career in Tollywood as a hero, but later appeared only in character roles if we can see his recent projects.

Speculations are that it would be really interesting if this news turns out to be real. The untitled film is also featuring Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi in a negative but in a very prominent role. The shooting is expected to start from the third week of January next year.

NTR movie, first look teaser will be unveiled on the birth anniversary of Telugu’s Pride, Mr.Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao. Director Teja has been picturizing few crucial scenes in Ramakrishna Studios.

According to reliable networks, Balayya’s face will not visible in the teaser and the camera is zoomed on the khaki shirt and pant from behind. Megastar Chiranjeevi’s recently finished shooting the first schedule for his upcoming film ‘Sye Raa… Narasimha Reddy’. The regular shooting of the film started on December 6th. Even before the film’s regular shooting of the film began, Academy Award winner AR Rahman walked out of the film, citing dates. New music director is yet to be finalized.

Recently, it was rumoured that Nayantara also walked out of the film, after the shooting got delayed. It is heard that, given Nayantara’s commitments in Kollywood, many assumed it to be true.

‘Sye Raa…’ production team has finally reacted to the rumours. ‘There is absolutely no truth in the media reports that claimed Nayantara has walked out of the project. We have recently finished the first schedule. Soon the second schedule will start.

Nayantara will join with the rest of the team in the middle of the 2nd schedule. She has also confirmed the dates for Sye Raa,’ briefed the production team.

Sye Raa… is being bankrolled by Mega Power Star Ram Charan Tej on a massive budget of Rs. 150+ crores. The film is being directed by Surender Reddy. The production unit is planning to release the film towards the end of 2018.

Indians are known for ages, as conservative people, especially when we talk about our society in particular. Whether you talk about issues like pregnancy, sanitation or sex, our people reserve their opinions and hardly open to it. But developed countries are total opposite in these matters. The comparison is not made to degrade ourselves but to convey a healthy message about the environment surrounding us.

Bollywood star hero Akshay Kumar had taken a film on ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ which got a lot of notice in western countries, even Microsoft Founder Bill Gates mentioned getting inspired by the movie. But our own people ridiculed him, some silly netizens went on to allegate that he did the movie only to appease the ruling BJP government and PM Modi. In spite of all this, we all know the outcome of the movie.

Now, if we come to the recent event, actress Trisha took part in a toilet construction program in a village in Kanchipuram district. She participated in the program as a brand ambassador of UNICEF. She was pictured cementing the bricks of a toilet and talking about the importance of having a toilet. Many came forward extending their appreciation for the inspiring gesture of the actress. Hopefully, many more celebrities join the camp to develop the mindset of people while developing nation.

We come across many misleading, luring fake advertisements in our everyday life. Many people assume and imagine a lot when they see the commercials on TV or in the newspaper about buying weight-loss pills. When celebrities too join the party and circulate the ad, the chances of public buying them are very high.

Recently, during a debate in Rajya Sabha, Venkaiah Naidu disclosed the fact that how he was fooled by a weight-loss ad. ‘After becoming Vice-President, I came across an Ad which assured weight loss in a certain period. I had paid Rs.1000 for the same. Instead of receiving the delivery, I received a mail informing me that there was another tablet which I should buy for the magical weight loss. I was told the medication will be sent only after the second payment of Rs.1000. This was when I brought the matter to the notice of Consumer Affairs Ministry. In the process of inquiry, it came to light that the company is not based in New Delhi but the USA. Something should be seriously done on such advertisements,’ he said.

Center is seriously looking at putting an end to such misleading fake ads. Looks like the New Bill will bring a huge relief to the consumers who are trapped with the attractive commercials.

Apart from this, people’s discussion had drawn on the other point, as to why the Vice- President needs weight loss pills at this juncture of his life.
