The Hindupur MLA Balayya made his presence in Chandrababu Naidu’s one day fasting to showcase his protest again the Centre. Story:

Bharat Ram (Mahesh Babu) is the only son of AP CM (Sarath Kumar). While Bharat is pursuing his education at Cambridge University, his father, the AP CM dies suddenly. After Bharat returns to India and completes his father’s funeral, the party members elect him as the Chief Minister. After the swearing-in ceremony, Bharat aims to clean the polluted politics. Analysis:

Mahesh Babu has delivered his career-best performance in this film. His on-screen performance as the CM is the highlight of the movie. Mahesh’s performance as a young lad who suddenly becomes a state’s CM stand is absolutely brilliant. The scenes prior to the interval elevate Mahesh Babu in the film to an all new level.

His body language, styling, and what not… it feels as if everything has fallen in its place. Though this is a debut movie for Kiara Advani in Telugu, she has done her part with ease and is a delight to watch on the screen alongside Mahesh Babu.

Brahmaji as Personal Secretary to Mahesh Babu in the film made sure the audience is thoroughly entertained. Prakash Raj as Mahesh’s God Father is an absolute treat to watch. Rao Ramesh, Ramaprabha, Amani, Posani Murali Krishna, Ravi Shankar, Ajay, and the rest of the cast have done a good job.

Nani’s latest offering, ‘Krishnarjuna Yuddham’ failed to impress not only the general audience but also his fans. Even Nani’s dual role couldn’t save him this time around. Except for Krishna, a village youth, the rest of the movie is pale and dull. Given the poor scripting, and a cocktail of routine plots, the film did not stand a chance at the box office.

In its week’s run, the movie collected Rs 14.24 crores, against the theatrical rights (including expenses) valued at Rs 30 crores. With less than 50% of share in its first week, the movie is likely to end up as the biggest disaster in Nani’s career.

The film also failed to cross the $1 Million mark, which is a basic benchmark for Nani’s films in recent time. One should understand the fact that, the movie is just not ‘flop’, but a disaster. That too, after a series of 8 successive hits, starting from Jenda Pai Kapiraju, that released way back in 2015.Overall, the share collections in AP and TS have just limited to Rs 11.64 crores, with Rest of India at Rs 1 crore, and overseas collections at Rs 1.60 crores.
