With TDP MPs protests reaching a new high, the BJP-led NDA government is having a nightmare. It has become almost impossible for Speaker Sumitra Mahajan to run the Lok Sabha beyond two minutes. The YSRCP MPs are playing second fiddle to TDP MPs in the Lok Sabha. At the same time, TRS MPs and AIDMK MPs are having their own demands. With an attack from all sides, the Centre completely has no clue whatsoever.

Adding to this, another state came forward with ‘Special Category Status’ demand, along with Andhra Pradesh. The state is none other than Bihar. Jan Adhikar Party MP Pappu Yadav demanded SCS for Bihar. In this context, he has also sent a notice to the Lok Sabha Secretary General asking for a debate. Prior to this, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar also spoke about the Special Category Status for Bihar in the parliament two days ago.

‘I raised this issue 13 years back itself. In 2005, I wrote a letter to the Prime Minister asking to grant Special Category Status to Bihar. Post that, we passed the Special Category Status bill in Bihar Assembly, and since then I have been fighting the same’, said Nitish Kumar in the Parliament.It looks like BJP’s end is coming closer.

The Union Finance Ministry has transferred the fund sanctioning notice to AP Government and to the Water Resource Ministry stating that it is giving 1400 crores to Polavaram. It also asked the AP Government to submit the final audit of Polavaram to grant the remaining 300 crores in the future.

As soon as ‘Thalaiva’ Rajinikanth announced his political entry, rumours surfaced that BJP is behind him. Even the events that took before Rajinikanth’s entry into politics sent similar signals. On the day of the announcement, 31st December 2017, everyone took a notice of the ‘lotus’ flower in his party symbol. This further fueled speculations that BJP is running the show from behind.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth’s ‘Himalayan Trip’ gave way to controversies, with many political leaders criticizing the actor’s decision, amidst high political tensions prevailing in Tamil Nadu. Reacting on all these, and putting an end to all the speculations, Rajinikanth spoke to media representatives in Chennai.

‘Few people are claiming that BJP is behind me. There is no truth in that. God and people are behind me. I am filled with new energy’, expressed Thalaiva. Further talking about the vandalizing of Periyar Statue in Tamil Nadu, Rajinikanth severely condemned it and demanded that necessary measures should be taken to stop such incidents.

Politics can turn friends into foes overnight. The ongoing war of words between Pawan Kalyan and TDP is a classic example. With his response to Pawan’s comments, Chandrababu Naidu is bringing more coverage to it. Discussing the same with his MPs Chandrababu said, he was taken aback with Pawan Kalyan’s allegations on his (CBN) relationship with Modi, and corruption charges over Lokesh.

Chandrababu’s statements clearly hinted towards evoking sympathy among the public. Though Pawan Kalyan enjoys unprecedented stardom as a film celebrity, he is yet to graduate from kindergarten in politics. Meanwhile, Chandrababu is someone who is miles ahead than his counterparts.

Even though Pawan was seen as a pro-TDP leader for most of the time, many felt that his comments had some legitimacy. With CBN starting to question on what authenticity Pawan Kalyan made such allegations, it has opened up the debate among the common public.

This move from Chandrababu is likely to make Pawan Kalyan look like ‘any other politician’ when it comes to passing allegations on the ruling government.  If Pawan Kalyan cannot prove his claims, or back his allegations with proofs, his attack against TDP, would indeed turn in favor of TDP.

The newest party of Andhra Pradesh, Janasena is still busy countering its rivals through social media post attacking TDP. its digital wing Shatagni has shown how a National media has twisted it’s Supreme Pawan Kalyan’s stand on Special Category Status.

Janasena has been encountering rough voyage post the Speech of Pawan Kalyan recently. His potshots at the Centre and TDP are proving costly as they are irking the party in means they can. After alleging corruption on Pawan for buying 10 crores of land for 20 lakhs, it is now Centre’s turn to throw mud on Pawan Kalyan.

Going into the details, Janasenani has given an interview to a National News Chancel TV18 the other day. When he was enquired about his stand on Special Category Status, he said that the Special Status itself is not sufficient to develop the state but it will be very much useful to eradicate unemployment in AP. this statement of Pawan was twisted and reported by TV18 in the channel. The channel reported that Pawan has made U-turn on Special Status as he felt it is not so important.

To control the damage, Shatagni in Janasena released a press note stating that their head Pawan is forever committed to Special Status. It also claimed that the so-called National media has intentionally twisted Pawan’s words by linking the video byte of Pawan talking about Special Category Status. It is clearly evident that Pawan and his Janasena is lacking strong side to revert and counter rivals.
