The Central Government took the state of AP for granted and cheated terribly by failing to implement AP Bifurcation Act promises. After feeling the wrath of Andhra people and leaders, it tried to cool down the situation. As the TDP camp is not in a mood to come to terms with BJP, Amit Shah has started his plan B, which is indirectly making the state suffer. In his recent interview, Amit Shah alleged that AP and its Government has completely utilized the funds given by the Central Government. Also, he dared to declare that AP is fearing to apply for the Utilisation Certificates as the Centre will know the real expenses of the state.

But in reality, the State Government is trying to revert back the new strategy of Centre. Presenting all the approved Utilisation Certificates issued by the Centre, it cleared that the State did utilize almost 950 crores in the development of Amaravathi. To everyone’s shock, the new applications sent to the Centre for getting Utilisation Certificates are intentionally getting delayed in Central Government Offices with a strong motive. It is very evident that Centre is delaying these files in order to play the blame game. If the Centre continuous its strategies, then the AP Politicians too will start their tactics at the ballot box.

With TRS and AIADMK MPs protesting over Reservation Row and Cauvery Waters, respectively, the Lok Sabha Speaker preferred adjournment over the business of the house.After being confronted on national media, the TRS MPs made it clear that ‘Telangana Reservation Policy Issue’ is more important that Andhra Pradesh Special Category Status for them.

Similarly, a heated debate took place in the Tamil Nadu assembly over AIADMK’s opposition towards TDP no-confidence motion. DMK Chairman Stalin extended his support to the TDP no-confidence motion. Reacting to this, AIADMK leader M Thambidurai responded. ‘AIADMK can extend support to TDP no-confidence motion. But how can support Andhra Pradesh government, which is responsible for the killings of Tamil Laborers in Andhra Pradesh with guns, and drowning them in water? The recent arguments by both the parties once again exposed the animosity and the lack of trust between political parties in South India.

He concluded his letter by assuring that BJP will always remain as a friend to TDP.

A few of TDP members responded to this letter but many of them still fail to question the BJP head regarding the AP Bifurcation Act. On seeing Dhanunjaya, the sarpanch immediately informed to the police. The victim is currently being treated at King George Hospital (KGH), Vishakhapatnam.During the police investigation, it was found out that, there were clashes between the two sides in the wake of the extramarital affair.

‘Chandrayan 1’ is one of the most successful space missions in the history of human mankind. Especially given its cost, and the technology available with India at that time. The ‘Chandrayan 1’ probe managed to key significant data during its lifetime. It also collected evidence that proves the presence of water on Moon. Since then, the entire nation has been waiting for Chandrayan 2 mission.

Talking to the reporters at the Chennai Airport, Dr K Sivan (ISRO Chairman) stated that, ‘the launch (of Chandrayan 2) was initially scheduled for next month. But it is postponed for technical reasons. Experts have suggested some key changes. The mission is re-scheduled for launch in October’.

The ‘Chandrayan 2’ will comprise of a lander and a rover. The total mass of the lander and the rover is 1250 Kg. All the tests with respect to the lander and the rover been conducted,’ said an official from ISRO.

‘Chandrayan 1’ was launched on 22nd October 2008. The probe entered into lunar orbit on 8th November 2008. Though the mission lasted for 10 months (of its 2 years lifespan), scientists declared that the mission was 95% successful. ISRO thought the probe might have crashed in 2012. But, it was found in the lunar orbit even in 2016.

UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) stated that it would take 1300 crore years to crack into Aadhar Servers and steal sensitive information, in its document submitted to the Supreme Court of India.

UIDAI CEO Ajay Bhushan Pandey explained about the security measures taken to protect the Aadhar data in his 80-min PowerPoint presentation. In his presentation, he made some key announcements.

  • 100% verification may not be possible with Aadhar
  • In case of biometric failure, the individual can still verify his Aadhar Card using OTP. We are making sure that the government schemes are reaching everyone.
  • We are also coming up with a separate data, whose biometrics are yet to be approved
  • Engineers are working to implement ‘Facial Recognition’ from July 1st as an added layer verification of Aadhar.
  • Aadhar has already proved very useful in finding duplicate Pan Cards and fake companies. It also ensured that government schemes are availed only by the eligible.

People moving closely with Andhra Politics in the last three decades know the prominence of August 26, 1995. Then Chief Minister Shri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao saw his own MLAs rebelling against him, and taking the side of current Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. The whole episode began in the Dolphin Hotel in Vishakhapatnam and concluded at the Viceroy Hotel (Marriott, as of date) opposite to the Secretariat.

Nara Chandrababu Naidu managed to conglomerate the support of 150 MLAs and ensured that the legendary actor-cum-politician is ousted from the post of AP CM and TDP President, once and for all.Though, this history damps our eyes slightly, the recent developments in the state hint another ‘Viceroy Episode’ very soon. It is evident that Chandrababu is trying to battle with the anti-TDP wave in the public. At the same time, given TDP’s strained relations with BJP, his ‘Vote-for-Note’ case will be surely opened as the election time nears.

Close sources confirmed that 30-40 MLAs don’t mind switching sides if necessary. Consequently, the Joint High Court will deliver its judgment over the 22 defected YSRCP MLAs who joined TDP. BJP and Jagan (separately) are working on upcoming elections. Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan, who was TDP’s trump card in 2014 elections, became their ‘unexpected enemy’ all of a sudden.

According to few political analysts, the Viceroy Hotel Episode may not repeat exactly as it was. But, CBN should be prepared to brace himself, for TDP’s sudden downfall, and ‘large’ number of TDP sitting MLAs switching to other parties just before, or after the elections.

Given the ‘Operation Garuda’ plan as discussed by Hero Sivaji, it will be interesting to see whether Chandrababu Naidu will have a change of his plans? Or will he continue with the same old plans? With the No-confidence motion limited to the desk of Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, Chandrababu has a tough time ahead of him.Nevertheless, only time can tell how far TDP and Chandrababu will fare in the future!

CBN vs MLC Madhav Over Polavaram

Tempers raised between Chandrababu Naidu and BJP MLC Madhav after the latter interrupted CBN’s speech. Addressing the Legislative Council, CBN spoke about anti-social elements obstructing the Polavaram project progress. Suddenly, MLC Madhav interrupted the speech. Annoyed at Madhav’s behaviour, CBN asked him to continue.

‘The Centre is committed towards the development of Andhra Pradesh. It never asked the state government to bear the costs of land pooling and rehabilitation.

At the same time, it is unfair for TDP leaders to think that the Centre wouldn’t play a supporting role because they came out of NDA. The State Government should focus on Polavaram Rehabilitation Program, and carry out the corresponding works,’ said Madhav.

Reacting on this, Chandrababu Naidu, in a fierce tone lashed out at Madhav. ‘Why is the PM meeting financial criminals? Those people are literally hiding from the Press, and spending time sitting in the PMO.

They are even stating that they will continue to meet the PM until they get me behind the bars. Let them do whatever we want. One shouldn’t forget that a person who had a history of corruption charges in the past, has been sent to jail because he went to meet former CBI director. This is absolutely uncalled for’, said Chandrababu.
