Traffic Restrictions and Barricades Create Discomfort for Tirumala Devotees:
Large crowds of pilgrims who had assembled to witness the Garuda Vahanam procession faced significant confusion and difficulties in accessing the viewing galleries near the Tirumala temple.
The day started with a surge of devotees gathering at the entrance gates leading to the galleries located on the four mada streets encircling the Tirumala temple. These galleries provide excellent vantage points for observing the Garuda Seva procession.
Nevertheless, despite the preparations made by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and the security provided by the Tirupati district police, pilgrims found themselves scurrying from one entry point to another in a frantic attempt to reach the galleries.
At some entrance points, emotions flared as security personnel engaged in disputes with disappointed pilgrims who were unable to gain entry to the galleries. Regrettably, many pilgrims were unable to access the galleries because they had already reached their full capacity of nearly 2 lakh by the evening.
The traffic conditions also added to the pilgrims’ woes. Tirupati police distributed passes to four-wheelers heading towards TTD at different points along the highway. However, the parking facilities in TTD were soon overwhelmed, with 15,000 vehicles reaching their maximum capacity.
Traffic Restrictions and Barricades Create Discomfort for Tirumala Devotees
As a result, private vehicles were not permitted to proceed beyond the Alipiri checkpoint. Devotees were compelled to park their vehicles in areas like Devlok and nearby establishments near Alipiri, from where they had to board APSRTC buses to reach Tirumala.

Rambabu’s Recommendation to Balakrishna: Take Charge of TDP Leadership:
Water Resources Minister Ambati Rambabu has called upon MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna to capitalize on the current situation within the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and assume leadership of the party.
Rambabu encouraged leader to uphold the legacy of the Nandamuri family and emphasized that the legislative assembly is not the party’s headquarters. He suggested that Balaya and other legislators should address public concerns within the assembly.
Regarding discussions on the arrest of former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and allegations of corruption, Rambabu expressed readiness to engage in dialogue anytime and anywhere. He claimed that the TDP members had evaded discussions and preferred chaos over a meaningful debate.
Rambabu objected to Balakrishna’s symbolic twirling of his mustache and suggested that this was the moment for Balaya to take a more assertive stance. He asserted that Balaya now has a unique opportunity to contribute to the survival of his father NTR’s party, countering rumors that he had not supported NTR during a challenging period.
Rambabu’s Recommendation to Balakrishna: Take Charge of TDP Leadership
Highlighting the absence of key TDP leaders, Rambabu pointed out that Balakrishna’s brother-in-law, Chandrababu Naidu, is in jail, and his son-in-law, Nara Lokesh, is in Delhi. He emphasized that this opportunity may not come again for leader to assume control of the party. Rambabu also raised concerns about perceived injustices within Balakrishna’s family, including his own electoral victories without ministerial appointments, while his brother Harikrishna was initially given a ministerial role but later sidelined.

Passage of Women’s Bill Attributed to Strong Central Government, Says PM:
PM Modi Celebrates Women’s Reservation Bill, Credits Strong Government
Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated the recent passage of the 33 percent reservation for women legislation during a special parliamentary session. He hailed this achievement as a “declaration of India’s renewed commitment to democracy.” The success of this long-awaited bill, according to Modi, is attributed to the presence of a “decisive and stable government with a strong majority at the Centre.”
Modi received recognition from the BJP’s ‘Mahila Morcha’ at the party headquarters for this legislative victory. He also used the occasion to criticize regional parties like Bihar’s RJD and Uttar Pradesh’s SP, noting that those who had previously opposed bills advocating reserved seats for women were now supporting the proposed law. He credited this shift to the increasing influence of women during his government’s tenure. The Prime Minister emphasized that his government had taken multiple steps to empower and promote women before passing this bill.

He remarked, “We made decisions to enhance women’s status at all levels and did not allow political interests to obstruct women’s reservation. In the past, such bills were often a mere formality, lacking committed efforts. Attempts to undermine women were also prevalent.”
Modi also addressed critics who questioned the use of the term ‘Nari Shakti Vandan’ (Salutation to Women Power) by the government for the bill, asking whether the women of the country shouldn’t be honored and their dignity enhanced.

Hyderabad and Mahabubnagar in Telangana, along with Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh, have recently emerged as new cybercrime hotspots in India, as revealed in a white paper titled ‘A Deep Dive into Cybercrime Trends Impacting India,’ released by The Future Crime Research Foundation (FCRF).
This nonprofit startup, incubated at IIT Kanpur, sheds light on these emerging cybercrime areas and emphasizes the need for proactive measures to address this growing threat. The FCRF categorized cybercrimes into nine distinct groups based on their characteristics. Online financial fraud dominates the cybercrime landscape, accounting for 77.41% of cases, with online and social media-related crimes following at 12.02%.
Within online financial fraud, UPI (Unified Payments Interface) fraud is the most prevalent, constituting 47.25% of such crimes, followed by debit and credit card fraud and sim swap fraud at 11.27%, and internet banking-related fraud at 9.28%, among others. The white paper identifies several factors contributing to the vulnerability of the top 10 cybercrime-prone districts in India. These factors include their proximity to major urban centers, limited cybersecurity infrastructure, socioeconomic challenges, and low levels of digital literacy.
FCRF also identifies cybercriminal hotspots and the nature of cybercrimes, providing insights into prevalent cyber threats in specific regions. This information underscores the importance of targeted strategies and awareness campaigns to effectively combat these emerging challenges.
The significant rise in cybercrime incidents can be attributed to various factors such as low skill requirements, inadequate know-your-customer (KYC) processes and verification, the availability of fake resources, affordable artificial intelligence tools, and the recruitment and training of individuals, creating a growing pool of potential cyber criminals. Even in Hyderabad, Many Crimes are happening.
