EC Declares AP Assembly Election Schedule

The other day the most awaited announcement has been made by the Election Commission of India. The Chief Election Commissioner declared the tentative schedule of AP Assembly and Lok Sabha polls.

Shockingly, EC decided to start the polls procedure from 11th of April giving the parties just a month exactly to do their campaigning. According to the schedule, the nomination filings shall be concluded on 28th of this month to start the polls. This time, EC planned the AP Assembly and Lok Sabha polls in seven different phases. April 11th is the commencement of the first phase, Lok Sabha elections shall be concluded along with some Assembly elections. Then the Assembly elections continue in phases as listed by the commission. The second phase would be on April 18, third on 23rd April, fourth on 29th of April, fifth on 6th May, sixth on May 12 and finally the last on May 19. In addition of AP Assembly and Lok Sabha, Telangana Lok Sabha elections are conducted in the first phase. Aspirants for 175 Assembly seats and 25 Parliament seats are competing with their respective party flags.

The results will be declared on 23rd May, that means the parties should patiently wait for more than a month to have the final result. This might frustrate parties but they have chalking plans within no time to intensify their respective election campaigns.

Babu claim that YS Jagan joined hands with KCR who is backing the prior’s assets in Hyderabad and they want to gain control on AP by winning the elections.

According to Babu, he has right to campaign in Telangana as his party T-TDP used to be active before the snap polls. However, CBN states that TRS has nothing to do with AP and asked KCR to give his best trail in AP elections. Showcasing his strength, Babu declared that he is not scared of KCR as the latter can show zero influence on AP Politics. Last but not least, CBN compared KCR-Jagan friendship drama is more evil than the Bahubali politics.

The strategic move of AP Opposition party YSRCP’s fake voter deletion mass applications has now fired back at them. One look at the latest stats of Election Commission of India explains everything.

YSRCP with the alleged advice from its official strategist Prasanth Kishore planned to reduce the TDP votes by filling the Form-7 applications on behalf of the voters. They intelligently took the data from the TDP membership data base with the help of Telangana Officials and filled in their details. Responding to this, the TDP MLAs and MPs lodged complaints on the Opposition party for stealing the data and filling in fake forms. EC which verified the forms came to know that about 1.5 lakhs of applications filed are indeed fake and rejected them right away. It assured that proper care is taken with every application they came across and all these fake applications belong to only TDP voters.

Furious CBN lashed out at Jagan for his party’s cheap moves. He claimed that Jagan is acting like a puppet in the hands of Telangana CM KCR who has no right to indulge in AP affairs. Babu pointed out at PK who is helping the Bihar elections in a big way. Whatever might be the case, this is a huge disappointment for YSRCP.

It is a known thing that the YSRCP Spokesperson Vijaya Sai Reddy complained the Election Commission of India regarding TDP’s fake voter’s list in Andhra Pradesh. Now the YSRCP Chief went a step ahead and declared something which is quite horrendous.

YS Jagan organized a grand Public election campaigning meeting in the town of Nellore with the name Samara Shankaravam. While hitting potshots on his Political rival CBN, Jagan admitted that the YSRCP has filled tons of Form-7 and he himself signed many of them. To those who don’t know about this, Form-7 is an application for an Indian voter if he/she likes to remove his voting with any reason. To everyone’s surprise, this form shall be filled only by the individual voter and no other can apply it on behalf of the other. To be more specific, Jagan just admitted that he did a big blunder by personally signing those Form-7 applications. Not just that, he backed his act by claiming that TDP has some lakhs of fake voters just to use those in favor of cycle symbol to gain power. So he urged the EC to look into this issue and remove fake votes in AP.

In almost ten districts of AP, fake votes issue is still a thing and all are hoping that EC would take the right measures to ensure the democracy and rightful elections. However, Jagan’s self-goal fired back quite miserably.
