The Election Commission of India has issued the notification for Telangana assembly polls 2018. The election for the state is scheduled to be on December 7th.

The nominations will be accepted from today and the last date for the nominations is November 19th. The scrutiny of the nominations will be on the following day November 20th whereas the last date for the withdrawal of the nomination will be on November 22nd. The counting will happen on December 11th.

The Election Commission has imposed a ban on all the surveys and exit-polls from 12 November to nearly one month in all the 5 places_poll-bound states where the elections will take place. The TRS has announced all the candidates whereas the grand alliance of Mahakutami is yet to finalize its members. The BJP has already announced 66 members so far.
